I am refering to the c5303 and c5306, I plan on moving to the USA at some point in the near future so I need the model which has the wider LTE support. Are the ones sold here the c5303 or the c5306?

I am certain that the 6603 will be in most countries, with only countries that have no LTE to get the 6602 eg much of South America...
I recently moved to Sony from Samsung because of the design & features it has the way I wanted.
What I would like to know is I bought Xperia Z (not knowing the model which I came to know later that) my phone model is C6602.
-What is the difference between C6602 & C6603?? Advantages & Disadvantages.
-Does C6602 Support 4G??
-Does the price varies between them??
-Anything Else??
Please help me in this. Although when I was buying they didn't ask me which model to choose??
I have no idea of all this.
The only difference is that the C6603 has LTE/4G support and the C6602 does not.
As for price difference in your region, I have no idea.

So C6603 is expensive?
There shouldn't be any price difference between the two models, but I cannot be sure as the C6602 is not sold in my region as far as I'm aware. Check with a local retailer.

I have the Xperia Z Ultra, and while it is nice, the camera is horrible.
Anyone know where to buy the Xperia Z1 C6906? Or when it will be available?

C6903 has following bands: LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 - C6903
Does this mean we can use C6903 on AT&T 4G LTE?
Only in areas with band 4, which is very seldom for att
does anyone know where the c6906 model might be available to buy?
or if anyone has one for sale?

I know C6903 runs LTE for T-Mobile and the C6906 runs LTE for AT&T. It may depend on what LTE bands AT&T uses for your area so you'll want to check first.
Anyone know where to buy the C6906?
I want it, nay I need it......lol

I can vouch for Omegacell. I have bought several phones from them in the past. Martin is the guy I talk to over there. They do have some of these in stock right now, I believe they are the Bell C6906 version unlocked.

Very nice find. I got supremely impatient and had a friend ship a Sony store unlocked one from Canada for me. I'm curious if the Bell version has any bloatware; for the first time every I've got a phone with no carrier bloatware and I'm loving it!

s the X1 in Sony Canada store actually C6906? They state the model number is Z1GENERIC, so I have no idea if it is or not.

The site may state that, however, it is the C6906 model. The model in the US Sony store is up for debate though, according to their website, it's the C6902 model but that doesn't make too much sense. I guess Sony really doesn't want to market this phone in the US.

Does anyone know what model of the Z3C is being sold in the US Sony Store (see link below) -- i.e. is it one of the same models that is being sold unlocked (ie. D5803 or D5833)? Which one?

D5833 is for USA, Brazil, Asia
D5803 is for Europe and others
Depending on where you live you could get either..

I have heard it does, from what I can see the model numbers are just to determine what market the unit came from..
The D5833 has extra LTE capabilities but other than that no further difference

Pretty sure this is wrong. D5833 does Not have correct bands for LTE on AT&T or T-Mobile.
Right- it's the other way round- D5803 is US, South America. D5833 doesn't have the required US bands.

Well my device is from the UK.. Do they usually still work in the US then?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Free mobile app
you can check the bands in which the two models work on. and see if your country and carrier uses those bands. some countries can use either but some countries needs one specific model because of the freq bands used.
That varies by phone model and brand. Apple and Samsung can load quite a few bands in a single model. Sony tends to have fewer bands in a given model, though D5803 has quite a few by Sony standards. I believe D5803 is the model sold in the UK and that model does also work for US LTE.

I have a D5803 in the US using ATT. I get full coverage and all signals like my ATT branded phones. It should work just as good with T-mobile also.
So...back to my original post question...does this mean that the model being sold on the US Sony Store is the D5803?
Yes it's the D5803 according to Sony.

question, not sure what phone you came from (i have a Moto X/AT&T), i was wondering if you had to get a different SIM from AT&T to fit?

Yes, for AT&T and T-Mobile. Can't say about Sprint and Verizon since I have not tried it.
Anyone know the firmware that comes when sold in store
