is it possible to enable (move to sd card) button in setting for all apps
if not
please I need any way for moving apps to sd card
but not apps like in play store because they don't work with all apps
The only working way is to install software like DirectoryBind apk. With this app you can move all data to sd card but you need to have phone rooted.

Oh boy, it says in description that it manages apps. Says it has option to save to sd card(not protected apps). I have apps to sd so dont know if it really works, can anyone confirm that it installs apps to sd card?
It saves the apk of installed apps to the SD card, and it can install apps from apks on the SD card. But it does not install apps TO the SD card. I can't run apps from my SD card (to save internal memory) using this program.
Damn, oh well thanks man!
Does anyone knows how to move/install your apps on the EXTERNAL sd card? i've got lots of maps and extra games' data on my phone..and when i move them on the external sd card, they are not recognized..
Please help me and other users with the same problem!
Which version of Android are you using?
If you're on ICS then you just go to Systems Settings - Apps. Then you select the app you want to move and you select, "Move to SD card".
I've been on numerous ICS Roms and it's always worked, I'm not sure about GB anymore (I haven't used one for 7 months now )
You can use an app like app2sd, or try to do this manually, like Lord_santa say
I tried both methods but it moves the apps on the INTERNAL sd card..but i want to move them on the EXTERNAL sd card( minisd card that you attach to your phone)
I have rooted my z1 on kitkat, but even after using the sd fix my apps data and app dont move to sd card. There is also no any option to move them. Apps like moveToSd etc on google play shows incompatiblity..
I play big size game like nfs asphalt8 dungeon etc.. and I am not able to get free space on my internal sd..
Plz help.. what to do and how to do.
Root do not implement the option to move apps to sd. sd fix it's a fix to be able to write to sd and not to move apps to sd. And yes, there is no option to move them, nowhere.
You have to use Folder Mount App. It's the best way to move data and folders to SD.
Hi, I want to buy a moto g, but I need to Know; is there any way to install apps on sd card by default on this Phone?
Apps only moves to sd card which are supported not all apps can be move to sd card. Remember when you move any apps to sd card widget of that app didn't work android limitation.

I know that, but is there any way to change this, Like rooting the device, CM12, or something else to use the sd card in the same way like the int.storege?
Hi, I have a Moto G 2014 with Stock 5.0.2 rooted, and I bought a 32GB SD Card a few days ago. The thing is that everything is still going to the internal memory, instead of the SD (photos, downloads, etc.), so I want to know if it's a way to make everything write on the SD card without messing up the phone (I heard I can mount SD in /sdcard changing init.rc but I don't want to do that). I also want to move my WhatsApp chats to the SD too, hehehehe (WhatsApp data is in the internal :'c)
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
For the photos and videos part, you can select from the camera application if you want to store them in the internal memory or on the SD card. For applications I think they are installed in the internal memory by default but you can move them after installation on the SD card by going to settings -> apps -> touch app -> move to SD card. To change the default installation location you need the android SDK installed on your PC and adb and then to edit a file. But I do not recommend this since the SD card is not accessible while the phone is connected to the PC. This will make applications that always run to work improperly(widgets, Facebook, etc. might generate a lot of errors because of it).
I think it's a Xposed module for that.

if you're rooted then try link2sd from play store. you need to have an ext partition on your sd card for this to work.
if you are not rooted then you will have to manually create symlinks to the files on the sd card.

Better try Link2SD. The procedure to turn your external SD to internal storage causes a lot of trouble in most cases.
There are also scripts that link the possible apps and libraries automatically to the SD card when installing them.
