Personally, I'd wipe my entire phone in TWRP or CWM (OS & Internal Storage), flash a stock ROM like the one from mike1986, either by sideloading it or better still, an OTG and flash drive ... Then just make your own Nandroid backup of a clean deice with stock ROM.
It's very easy and pretty much gives you the same end product as far as a stock backup to return to.
If you can't find a stock ROM that's for your region (I Don't which work or don't for other devices than my own) then hopefully somebody will make you one that is running your version. Currently these are your only options I believe as I haven't seen one RUU or Nandroid on here for 4.2.2.

There are no stock Nandroids posted for 4.2.2 and no RUU's either.
You are not able to downgrade because you are s-on. Since you are s-on and have already applied the 2.24 firmware, the best you can do is install a fresh rom that will run on that base.
What exactly are you trying to do?
So have one, cool im on STOCK

Would you be able to post that backup? I will hosting new site with RUU's and stock nandroid backups since Bugsy is shutting down.

Thanx a lot,
but there are many ruu version here and no one is like mine...
is it a problem?
if i do a nandroid, can i restore mine stock rom version after flash a cooked rom?
Thanx again
Which one is yours? You can flash a WWE RUU if you cant find yours in the list.
BTW, It is recommended to take a 1.XX RUU from that site, because 2.XX RUU's are Froyo RUU's, and, you will not be able to root them if you require it in the future (As of now).
As for a Nandroid Restore, if you had taken a Nandroid backup of the Stock ROM after Root, yes, you can restore it back and get back your Stock ROM from a Custom ROM. If not, then flashing the RUU is the only way.

i've not flashed again my buzz but i want to do it and so i've not unrooted it.
i've the stock rom upgraded to 2.22.405.1, so i ask to me if i do a nandroid now before flash another rom, then i can do a restore of it... sorry but firt of all i'm italian an i don't speak a read english very well...
thanx for your patience
Yes, you can restore your phone to the state it was right before you did the nandroid back-up.
Make sure you have enough space on your SD card before doing the back-up, say 500MB or more. And save that back-up to your PC for safe-keeping, it's in the "Clockworkmod" Folder on your SD card.
If your stock ROM (that you are restoring) is a version earlier than your custom ROM, do you need a goldcard?
If you are restoring to an earlier stock ROM to the stcok ROM on your phone, do you need a goldcard?

If I understand you correctly, you are having official 2.22.405 at this moment? If so, you will not be able to take a Nandroid Backup, or, install a Custom ROM, or, go back to a previous ROM, because, all of the above requires root, and, the official 2.XX ROM's cant be rooted as yet. You have lost root when you upgraded to 2.22.405.

No to both. Goldcard is just required for debranding purposes. (If you have taken backups of old ROM's)
I have an htc wildfire from vodafone with android 2.1 but I want to change the voda rom and install the htc official rom. I don't want to unlock I only want to change the vodafone rom with these ugly icons and applications and install the htc rom. So how I make this? I need to root? Only installing the official RUU.exe?

No, you will need a Goldcard to debrand your Wildfire. Just search the forums, there are guides on the same.

If you are on official 2.2.1, there is nothing you can do at all, except wait, till a solution arrives.

Hi,
I have Vodafone UK's HTC ONE, and it's on 1.28.161.7 version.
I want to have the global stock version, 1.28.401.7, and get OTA updates.
My One is rooted with CWM Touch Recovery, Bootloader Unlocked.
I have read a lot on the Dev forums but only thing I found is how to go back to stock, and I need a DIFFERENT STOCK ROM.
Can you please help me ?
I have the stock odexed ROM + Stock recovery zip files, and the complete all-in-one Toolkit, so just guide me the steps
Thanks in advance !
Tzach Alon.
Flash ARHD would be my answer.

Will I get the official OTA Updates from HTC?

No you won't as it's a rooted phone. You'll need S-OFF and the stock RUU to debrand the phone (neither of which are available yet AFAIK)

Hi EddyOS, long time no speak, not since I moved here from the HOX forums!
Wouldn't flashing ARHD debrand the handset, it'd just mean he can't get OTAs?
You on a Nexus 4 now then?

First, Thanks again !
So if I understand it right, I will need to go through this process:
1) Unroot
2) Re-lock bootloader
3) Flash stock recovery
4) Flash stock RUU (from the toolkit ??)
and that's it ? will I need to flash the ODEXED stock ROM from this thread ? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224752
And last one for now: If I'll take a Nandroid backup of CWM and unbranded HTC, will it work ?
I mean this one: "M7 CWM Nandroid Backup / CID HTC__001 / 1.28.401.7"
Sorry for all those questions - I have never tried to go back to stock or unbrand my device..
Thanks !

Unfortunately that wouldnt work. Your phone will have a branded CID. The OTA update checks the phone for this. So it would see yours isnt HTC_001 and it would fail. You need to wait until S-Off has been found for this phone.

As soon as an OTA is out Mike updates ARHD anyway so he could just flash the new ROM, until S-Off it's the only way of doing it really.
Hopefully S-Off isn't too far away...
Sorry for the noobish questions, I am new to the android community.
I rooted my htc one on 4.1.2. Will i be able to update it to 4.2.2?
Also do i have to unroot it in order to update to 4.2.2? Will it wipe everything for the phone?
If i cannot update OTA the htc one to 4.2.2 is there a stable rom at 4.2.2? (one that will make the battery last more maybe

You should flash the rom with a full wipe which will remove all apps and data as you are coming from a stock to a custom rom. Your apps with data can be restored from TB but do not restore anything else.
There is a flashing guide here written by the same dev.
Hey all,
so I recently flashed the MaximusHD ROM for my M7 on T-Mobile US. I love the ROM, 4.3 is great, blah blah blah. But right now, TWRP won't recognize my Nandroid backup that I made on stock 4.1.2. I need a Nandroid backup I can use to restore to Stock if I so need, OR a T-Mobile US ROM for M7 on 4.1.2, so I can relock my bootloader and use my RUU properly (if I relock my bootloader, MaximusHD won't boot, thus making me unable to use the RUU).
Unless one of you fine people can tell me how to get TWRP to recognize my Nandroid backup on 4.1.2 (it doesn't show up in the Restore window in TWRP).
Thanks!
Ps. This isn't necessarily an urgent matter, but I would really love to have these things settled before I need them. Also, I tried using the extracted ROM from the T-Mobile RUU, but TWRP wouldn't flash it, so now I'm stuck trying to find something else. Thanks y'all!

Everything you need can be found in the T-Mobile HTC One forum. I suggest you and everyone else look there for T-Mobile specific needs.

I think you can. I don't know about 2.24.111.3, but for example, 2.24.401.2 has the same recovery as 2.24.401.1. Anyway, trying it shouldn't hurt, you can always flash another stock or custom recovery anyway.
One thing though (don't know if that was a mistake on my part or intentional), when I flashed a stock recovery and rebooted into it (I was trying something on my phone), it wiped my sdcard.
