F Dell, her is my next toy.

i dont think F dell is appropriate in this case, the g slate costs more than twice what a streak 7 does.

The gslate is 529 on a new contract with 100 rebate so I can only imagine how much it would be off contract. That's why I got the xoom wifi and still am keeping my streak. Also another option is the Asus eee pad transformer. That's going to be 399 for 16gb 499 for 32 gb

Absolutely right. EEE pad transformer looks promising. Just that it is not available yet. haha.
The more I play with DS7, the more I think DS7 is very deep and has a lot of explore. Very Good toy.

Mine has been on parts ordered since day 1. When I have spoken to them they tell me its in production and cannot expedite shipping.
If you select Streak to purchase the ship date shows the 13th. Just checked.

Just checked my service status and it finally has shipping info. I will be talking to T-Mobile. I should get a credit for not having a device and paying for service.

Where to buy a REAL flipcover in the US?

Like many others, I ordered an unlocked Note 2 online. Will be here Monday. Where can I buy an original, non-fake, non-shady Samsung leather flip cover for the Note 2? eBay is shady in this aspect. Thanks.

yup back in stock, finally is after almost 2 months. place my order at 12:23pm est. glad i was off today. rather get it from google than to pay more through t-mobile, bestbuy or wirefly for a no contract. had no ordering issues through google either. just hope it ships in 1-2 weeks as it describes. good luck for everyone wanting this phone. hopefully everyone gets it who wants it this time and no more out of stock notices.

Hopefully they won't announce Nexus 5 just after I bought Nexus 4.

Did Samsung not make enough Gears?

I placed an order on 10-4 with T-Mobile.com and it's on backorder. I noticed that a lot of places are sold out. Did Samsung not make enough because of unknown demand?

Not sure if they made enough or not but there are some at various stores around where I live. Also T-mobile is supposedly backordered quite heavily due to the massive mistake they made in including the gear in their 30% off accessories coupon. Great promotion for the consumer but no one knows when all of those orders will be fulfilled.

Here in Australia we have the same supply problem, I've had one on back order for the last week at a local electronics shop. Nobody in the country seems to have any, i was hoping to get one for my birthday on the 5th but still waiting.

Yup, they definitely didn't make enough.. I almost did not get my phone upon release cuz all the gear was gone. They said that they can't sell the phone without the gear?? But lucky enough they had one left, the one they were showing to all potential customers lol.

From what I can tell, Telstra is the only one with it. A few places I went to didn't even know what I was talking about!
According to ebay, there are a few in other capital cities. And I may have just impulse bought one......oops

yeah still no gear here, major bummer wanted to see at least a demo unit

My Best Buy still has like 10-15 of them in stock in Various Colors. I got my manager to price match the T-Mobile price last week for 2 of them (one was for resale and one for me). I guess I got lucky on that. But they are to be found. Any if you want to play with one, any best buy with a Samsung store should have a live demo of a Gear there.

Here in Denver I had to drive all the way across town to get my jet black Gear. Most Best Buys are sold out.
