[Q] Change SuperSU with Superuser? - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,
I was wondering how can I change from SuperSU to Superuser, becuase superSU does not work when I put the phone in Arabic language :silly:
Do I need to flash something via Recovery?
Thanks
Sorry for my bad English

Just download the apk of superuser and put it in system/apps folder and set permissions to 644
Also from that same location remove the already sitting superSU app...that's it
Sent from my Super Geeky Handheld Device B)

I changed from SuperSU to Superuser last week. All I did was download Superuser, changed it to a system app. Deleted SuperSU then started all my apps that required root to make sure it found them all and accepted their root access request.

Since you are uninstalling default stock apps, anyway your warranty is going to void. Then why not install custom rom which doesn't have any of these bloatwares.
You could find one in development section.
ANDRO-ID v3.3 RC2 is the stable custom rom release till now.
If you want to remove only few specific apps and retain others which are absent in current Andro-id release then wait for few days, I will post a "how-to-build custom rom from stock " soon. Then you can remove any apps that you want add any apps / ui launcher as default system launcher.

Oh..? That's odd.... try installing another app that needs root permissions to make sure you have root. If you don't, I used superoneclick to root. Also try other apps to uninstall bloatware

Use titanium backup to selectively restore apps data that you want. but it would be better to have complete wipe before installing custom rom.

no no no a little bit wrong here ... chage it to r/w i.e read and write so you can edit the files mere being on r/o means u r in read only mode and here u cant delete
We can also do an adb and remove the apps from /system/data by using the command prompt in the system or Terminal in the phone?
I haven't tried it in my device yet. But I think this shud work.

Hi !
I've downloader "SU303.zip" that is the files to install SuperUser. I put this file in sdcard and access to CWM to install this.
Then install correctly, and when i go to reboot i fix root permissions in (/system/bin/su).
Reboot correctly but when i like to root an app..like es file explorer doesn't appears the notification to allow or deny permissions to grant superuser permissions.

this method is for vroot but work on kingo
5. Go to play store and install SuperSU.
6. Start SuperSU and you will be asked for permission by ???? 1.0.4, choose ??(means allow). (Should be the right side option.)
7. SuperSU will prompt to install SU binary, go ahead with OK and it will display successful.
8. Now,unistall king root with titanium backup
Note: If you uninstall straight away from app manager, you need to make sure SuperSU updated the binary.
9. Re-run SuperSU to make sure everything is alright. You will be prompt again to install SU binary, just do what it asked.
10. After that, you are rooted with SuperSU and ???? 1.0.4 will not be there anymore.
I HAVE tried this but kinguswe wont let installation successfull always installation failed I have tried to remove
king user with titanium backup but it remove root permission so is there any way else to replace it and thank you
SU
Think I used this method:
1. Download and unzip "Replace_VRoot_With_SuperSU.zip" file
2. Copy the folder "mrw" to phone storage
3. Copy SU. apk to system folder using a root explorer and change permissions to match your other system apps.
4 Reboot and update binaries
5 Remove king user and associated apps.
There is a full instruction set somewhere but I believe that this was my adaptation of the method using only a root explorer. I used Xplore.

Busybox can be downloaded from the Play Store - once done just open it, grant root access and hit install. It looks like a confusing app but just ignore the different tabs and 'Smart Install' scanning etc, as the install button at the bottom is all you need.
Once that's done just reboot and then you can flash xposed again as before.
really easy open root explorer and go to

I have karbonn titanium s200 HD (rooted) & xposed framework 2.6.1 installed. Greenify is running smoothly.
My first attemp to xposed was failed. Later installed successfully. Btw what superuser app is installed on your device?
I'm using kingroot & it works pretty good
1. Uninstall previous xposed installer & reboot.
2. Download Xposed 2.6.1 apk & install apk.
3. Open Xposed installer (tap allow ROOT ACCESS) and tap "Framework" & then tap "Install/Update".
4. Tap "Reboot" option. Done!
Still experiencing problem? open your superuser app & allow root access to xposed installer (if it is blocked by superuser) and try again.

Honor 5c - SuperSu don't work

Hello,
I recently root my phone so now I have SuperSu on it, unfortunately, I have a problem giving root access to other applications.
I download many apps which need a root access like TitaniumBackup or SD Maid, but only TitaniumBackup appears in SuperSu.
With all the other apps, it never asks me to give root permission (with a small pop up for example) and I don't understand why.
Could you please help me to find a solution, maybe with some apps that I can download to test if SuperSu works or maybe if there is a solution to activate an option to give me the root permission.
Moreover, when I make the overview of my phone by SD Maid, it shows me in the "root status" :
Unavailable
Su binary
CHAINFIRE_SUPERSU 2.82
Superuser app
2.82
SELinux state
SELinux : PERMISSIVE
Thank you for your help, I hope you could find a solution.
Install SuperSU 2.79.
Or just go to root app, setting, grant permission option by default. Instead of asking everytime
Hey man I just want to say : Thank you !!!
I changed the default option ans it works perfectly.
I don't know how put in the title (resolve), maybe someone knows ?
