Help: gap in the headphone flap - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My head phone flap won't close completely. Seems to be a weird gap, and I don't knew what's causing it on my tablet z.
Any suggestion on how to fix this? I use Bluetooth so should I just tape it closed?

Did you open it often? My usb flab is loose too like yours. I think its best if you send it to sony to change it to a new one.

Help! Kaiser screen loose!

Ok so the other day I dropped my Kaiser a couple days ago and now the screen feels really loose when the screen isn't open. I don't think anything cracked inside.
Is there any way to fix it? I'm thinking about opening it up to see if there's anything I can do. The phone still works fine, but it's bothering me Has any one else had this problem before?
Thanks
Duct Tape can do wonders.....

Same issue here, feel my LCD loose. Any solution ?
I didn't drop it and i only bought it less than 2 months.
take it back.
So I opened it up today and found out that the loose part was the sliding part here: http://www.pdacenter.ru/images/htc_p4550_kaiser_060.jpg
Is there anyway to tighten it?

connector under the cover

I have a question - for what this connector is responsible?
I do not have this one which I mark on foto
I think it should be connected with battery cover and mainboard.

That's where you stick the tabs of the battery cover.

Yeah your right there should be 2 connectors one of yours has dissapeared :S i think its for the gps sol, im pretty sure i read in my manual or sumwhere else, It was for the gps. Im just waiting to be corrected by someone now..
The metal tabs to spring the battery cover? I removed them when I re-shelled my phone. Don't sweat it. It does nothing.
And no it is not for GPS. Those metal tabs connect to nothing. Unless you were pointing to something else.
I was wondering the same.. because i dont have it either.. But I can assure you that the phone/gps/camera/keyboard/*put part here* works even without it

[Q] If I were to use *this* case, could i still use the official dock?

Hello guys,
I plan to get a case like this so it would cover almost every surface of my device. My concern is, by getting this case, would I be able to charge my phone using the dock?

No, that won't fit. You have to remove it every time.

The dock is a very tight fit I just remove my gel cover each time
PS that cover looks to me like it could interfere with the camera - it's quite thick

Tetded case's smart cover feature does not work with Z3TC

So.. I got my new case from Tetded.
Upon my first try, I noticed that the screen didn't turn off when the flap is close.

Instead, the screen was closed when I open the flap all the way back.
and open again when I removed the flap from the back.
Also, you seems to be able to pry the leather open at the edge.
I believe this is due to the magnet position in the case. Not sure if it's because it was incorrectly positioned or they weren't designed for the smart cover function at all.
Anyway, I contact them and they issued me a refund via Paypal and another apologize email. They didn't explain anything though so I'm not sure if this happen on all units.

some user on reddit /r/androidwear had another issue with a few dead pixels but other than that i am not aware that there are major problems. i don't have them, maybe some solder got lose or something who knows.
Hooray!)) I got to solve the problem with the screen.
It was not a dead pixel.
The problem is hidden in the loop connector, sealed-off contact on the ground.
Was poorly soldered connector, now everything works fine and does not flicker))
