The aim of this thread is to survey what accessories you decided to use with this awesome tablet. There are other threads which have very detailed reviews and recommendations so let us just keep this simple for easy read. List the accessory, it's function only if not obvious from name, brand, price if you still remember, and where you bought it. Links are good too. If you want to add your .02 for buying then feel free to add them as you wish.
For example:
case : mobo : $14.99 on Amazon
screen protector : bodyguardz : $18.95 on Amazon
stylus : El cheapo from dollar store
If this is a repeat thread, I did not see the original and will delete thread promptly. Thanks.

this is my wife's setup, i got the 5 dollar folio case instead of the TPU a more expensive stylus
I have 2 N7's. For the one I keep in the house I have a "i-blason slim leather portfolio auto wake/sleep stand case" in black, (Amazon $19.99) a sgp steinheil crystal clear screen protector, (Amazon $21.99) and I bought a pack of two stylus from T-Mobile ($19.99)that are also pens, they're really nice.
For the other N7 that I take with me to work, use as a gps, etc...I have the "extact tpu x design hybrid case in black, (Amazon $5.95 with free shipping) crazy on digital clear screen protectors, (Amazon $4.85) and I keep the N7, with the tpu on, in a "Mofi 7 inch zip tablet sleeve",(Amazon $9.99) it's green and has Andy the android on it...love it! I also have a "blurex ultra slim multi view stand case" in black, (Amazon $12.99) I switch back and forth between the tpu case and the blurex on the 2nd N7...depending what I'm out and about doing. I also bought a "belkin" stand for watching movies when I don't want the N7 in a case...the blurex case doesn't have anything around the screen like the i-blason does, it's a completely bare screen except for 6 leather clips on the corners to keep the N7 in place. I bought a pair a skull candy ear buds in red, (T-mobile, $19.99) love those! I think that's all I have for accessories right now for both N7's. I bought 3 stylus (styli?) on Amazon for $1.15, they came in a pack of 3, bought them before I found the ones at t-mobile...prefer the ones from T-Mobile, much more nicer, they are skinnier and the rubber tip is firmer.

a while ago, i bought a prepaid cricket android phone + bluetooth speaker deal from bestbuy for 50 bucks, i sold the phone for 50 bucks on craigslist and got the speaker for almost nothing
http://reviews.bestbuy.com/3545/372...aker-red-reviews/reviews.htm?sort=helpfulness
since i found the nexus 7 speaker to be kinda weak, this small portable bt speaker is nice to have as long as you don't pay too much for it
The app "volume+ (volume booster) " by Meltus, helps the volume on the N7, like A LOT!
Case: Treegloo case-Black green inner lining, wood frame with suede lining with kinetic latch system.

Case: CaseCrown Bold Standby Case
Stylus: Dollar Store unbranded
OTG: Chinese cheap-o via amazon
First cheapo-until-something-better-was-available cover: KaysCase S-Line TPU
Nice color options, fits the tablet well. Standard TPU case but I liked the blue color and the simple design.
Primary cover: Official Asus Travel Cover
I actually like it, I just wish it came stock as a smart cover that held itself closed. I added a tiny thin magnet to the front flap so at least I get the smart function. I could probably solve the "doesn't hold itself shut" issue if I cared enough, but it suits for now. I'd like to see the other colors from Asus, especially if they come with a built-in smart cover. I also want to see the Premium Asus case when it's available.
Screen protector: amFilm Premium Screen Protector Film Clear
Basic dry application screen protector. Gets the job done cheaper than some, two pack in case you mess up the installation.
Stylus: Boxwave Evertouch
Feels lightweight and kind of cheap, but the mesh tip glides smoother than any rubber one I've used. Good color options.
OTG Cable: Need to purchase, but I just saw this 4-in-1 connector in another thread, and it looks promising, though a lot more expensive than the <$1 Hong Kong cables.
Gamepad: So far I'm just using my Wiimote/Classic Controller because it's what I've got lying around. Works well enough for emulators.
Skinomi Black Carbon back and sides.
Steinheil SGP Ultra Fine Protector.
Right Angle OTG cable.
Arkon Vehicle/Smooth Desk Surface mount.
CrazyOnDigital Car Adapter (Not here yet).
Future: Pelican 1055, waiting on Otterbox. May get a Gumdrop case if Otterbox is stupid enough not to make a case.
RF
Treegloo Cover
Martin Fields Screen Protector
A right-angled OTG cable
I apologize for creating another case thread, but search did not produce anything quite satisfactory...
Are there any cases for Nexus 7 similar to Amazon's leather cover for Kindle?
I am using the lighted leather cover on my 4th gen Kindle, and it exactly what I am looking for for my Nexus 7 as well..
Basically, I want a case that
1. Has a front cover that folds back completely flat, and preferably doesn't have smart cover style folds - I have a little fold-up stand that I like, and would prefer the cover of my Nexus cover to be rigid.
2 Covers as little of the bezel as possible.
The official ASUS branded one almost fits the bill for me, however I do not like that the cover part looks kinda floppy and doesn't have any soft liner material, and it does go a bit over the bezel too. The Poetic Slimline case looked good in that respect, but had the smartcover folding that I would like to avoid.
Are there any cases that are similar to the ASUS one, but improve on the points I mentioned? Any help is greatly appreciated!
I received a Review Unit of the Amzer Silicone Jelly Case for the Nexus 7.It is a shockproof case and is available for $10.I have used this case on my Nexus 7 and now I am Reviewing it
Packaging and Design
The Packaging Of the Case is simple with the Case Itself And A piece of Paper saying that It is made for Nexus 7.The Case I have is Blue in colour. You can select from 10 different colours for your Nexus 7.The Case is made up of High Quality Silicone and is very flexible. The Front corners of the case have double layered silicon to protect the Tab from Bumps and shocks if it falls on its side. You also have the Proper cut outs for different ports. The Sides of the Case Have a textured design which provides a good grip for holding and helps in minimizing the drops from our hands. The Back again has a double Layer Silicone to Protect the Tab from Shock if it falls on its back,Overall,The Design of the Case is nice and protective too
The Case and Nexus 7
The Case is thin and adds minimum thickness to the Tablet.Putting the Case is very easy. You just need to slide the top part of the nexus 7 inside and the other to corners snap on.After you put on the Case,The tablet does seem heavy. The Case covers the front of the Tab pretty well, so even if you keep your nexus face down,It will not scratch Your screen. There are proper cut-outs for the Camera,Light Sensors,Speaker,Microphone and the Accessory port.On the side, there are raised silicon buttons for the Power buttons as well as the Volume Rocker.
Verdict
For $10, This is a very good case. The Only con I had is that,The case adds a bit of Weight and the Textured silicon may attract a bit of a dust.Overall,I liked this case very much.It provides proper protection to the Nexus 7 and is shock proof too.You also have a choice of 10 different colours to customize your Nexus 7.For More information,You can see the high res pictures attatched or also check my Unboxing/Review Video here - http://youtu.be/brjdii_3CkY (Please check out the YouTube video)
Feel free to comment about the review!
Grabbed a Pixel 7 on sale yesterday. Looking for a new case for it.
I work in a dusty environment and I'm sick of digging dirt out of the port on my old phone. Both speakers and mic are also clogged up as well, so I would like to cover those too if possible. Makes the phone borderline unusable as a phone (you know, the main purpose of it).
Don't really care too much about looks, I have a UAG Monarch on my S10e, it's pretty bulky but my phone has survived a drop or two to steel floors. I've also used Icipio, Trident and others in the past.
So far looking at Otterbox Defender (Pro), Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro, Encased Falcon, Poetic etc. They all cover the USB port but I don't think any of them cover the speakers/mics. I've also seen stick on mesh things for the speakers, has anyone tried them?
Simple solution is some blue or painters tape over the ports then use whatever case you like. That'll definitely cover your issues... Pun intended.

I've tried this one on the Pixel 4a5g and used it at the river once. It started falling apart. It also had an issue with using the speakerphone because of the waterproofing.
