I don't know much about TWRP, can you provide a Logfile so we can see what part of the script produced this error?
Otherwise try using the latest TWRP if you don't do this yet or use CWM/Philz

for flashing recovery you need a PC, at least I don't know about another way you have to connect it via usb, reboot your phone to fastboot and use this commands from your fastboot folder on your PC (recovery.img needs to be in same folder)
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Thank you very much I ll try it

I did what you said but when the update starts it stucks at 1/4 of the bar...I tried both at WiFi and 3g but nothing changes...what do I do wrong?thank you in advance

You have to put your phone to fastboot mode first. Reboot it and when the screen goes dark press and hold volume down button.

yes this can be a problem for updating. you have to be completely stock to be able to install an OTA update. I posted a guide before how to revert everything. I think this is the easiest way.
but root is not the cause that you can't flash your stock recovery. Is your One recognized by your computer correctly? To be sure that the drivers are OK and the right ones you can install HTC Sync

[Three-Button Recovery mode] v28C (ICS)

Hi all !
On the new ROM (v20C) was found that there is Three-Button Recovery mode.
Hold down the G + Volume Up + Power Button and so enter this mode.
And G + Volume down + Power Button - reset settings.
:good:
What does it do..? I Just got A message Like in screenshot and nothing happened...
The fact that we were able to enter the mode Retsovery means that unlocked bootloader.
With this mode, you can install any firmware and kernel without fearing the consequences. You need to choose software for this. Need help developers.
You have adb root if I'm not mistaken. ( adbd i started as root in script in official recovery image)
Maybe the security error comes from incompatibility of how recovery is started.
Oh boy, if only I had that 1 year ago.
Fine...

Not yet. I don't think it's necessary since we can always just use old bootloader thats unlocked and modify kernel to be compatible.

Need Help Bootlooping

Hey guys, so I was easily able to unlock the bootloader. However, the problems began when I flashed recovery. After that I have been getting only bootloops. Thus, I did a factory reset, which fixes it, however, once I restart or turn the phone off the bootloops start again. Which means I am constantly factory resetting my phone. Does anyone know how to fix this?

thanks for all your help!! I think i may have got it. I reflashed recovery then rebooted the bootloader, then booted into recovery through the bootloader, then wiped everything. It seems to boot now and I am able to restart and shut down without a problem. Hopefully it sticks. Thanks again for taking the time I really appreciate it.

soft brick?

So like an idiot I completley wiped the phone and my recovery using TWRP. I can still access TWRP and the OEM HBOOT/FASTBOOT menu but I deleted the OS. I tried to restore using RUU but the program is not recognizing the phone. The computer does recognize the phone though. I'm just suck on the "F" boot logo. Any ideas?

okay I was able to get back and perform the most updated RUU. I was back to stock rom everything working okay. I tried to unlock the bootloader using the HTCDEV.com method which works as fastboot shows bootloader unlocked but it puts the phone into a boot loop. Any ideas to fix the boot loop after unlocking bootloader?

My guess is this is not entirely true. To the best of my knowledge, all available superuser solutions install a su binary as well, which is located someplace like /system/bin/su or /system/xbin/su or some such, and possibly other files required by the solution. That would mean that while simply removing the APK might make it impossible to use su (as the binary might be dependent on the APK in order to work properly, although this is just a guess), it most certainly won't restore the sytem to its pre-root state.
I'd also like to get a copy too please!

The bootloader is locked on SM-G730 which means you can't flash anything that is not signed from samsung unless someone comes up with a way to unlock it.
You can still root it and debloat, tweak, run Xposed etc
Official firmware can be found on SamMobile in case you'll need it.
