Hello
I am having a problem with a game called Need For Speed Shift on my sony ericsion x1. I try to install on my phone, but for some weird reason i can not run the game. I seen that it works on my phone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbbqdTY-EUo
It says that it could not find s3e.icf, either embedded or as an external file.
what does that mean?
and also......
No executable to load. Place an execultable(.s3e) file in your data directory or use the ICF file setting (s3e) game executable=x
ok-continue
I have done some research on an .s3e file and it told me that I have to use the proper build for my device.
So....i am asking if anyone have the build that i need to play this game
It would be very great if someone could post a video on how to flash my x1.
I have tried to look at the post on roms, but i dont flash my phone and break it, so....i want to know if anyone could make a quick video on it for me.
Thank you
Dear all, I don't know is this a bug or what. I'm now on Miui rom with android version 4.1.1, and when I use the file explorer, I found that my music category was looking strange, as I know very well that this category should not built up to more than 1GB (not even with all my music file added up together), but now it's 3.75GB. and when I press the music category, it shows a lot of files without file names dated 16/01/1970 !!
Are these files actually exist? or is just some kind of bug? Does this take up space? Really appreciate if any one can help me here.
I tried to delete the file but failed, the system doesn't respond at all! can anyone tell me what I shall do now?
Same problem,

I just rooted my device successfully and also installed TWRP recovery. I downloaded Android Revolution HD and wanted to put it on my Internal Storage, but should I extract the files before I do that or leave it in the Winrar(zip) file instead of just to folder after extracting? because when I tried to install it with TWRP recovery and it just ended up showing a bunch of folders instead of installing everything. Then I tried putting the zip file on my internal storage and it coppied over kinda fast so I didn't want risk anything. I'm new to this so i dont want to screw anything up could someone please help

We all start somewhere. I enjoy seeing people who make accounts truly just to ask just a question. Shows the intiative and willingness to learn, and the cautiousness needed for this kind of stuff. Kudos to you, and good luck with your One. Remember, your best chance on the forums is reading!
It's also nice to see people giving decent answers for a change, we all know how 'catty' some members can be.

So I've been meaning to try out a new ROM/play around with my phone a little, but I can't seem to drag the zipped ROM file anywhere on my SD card where it can then be located by CWM in Recovery. I know the first time I did this, there were folders titled "download" and "backup" under clockwork when I opened the internal storage via PC. I would really appreciate if someone could help me out, I'm sure this is a stupid question but I've searched and couldn't find anything else to help me. Thanks in advance!

CWM backups go in /data/media/clockworkmod/backup/ if you mean youre not able to get files to copypaste on your phone, try adb push and see if that works
Hi All,
I seem to have an M7, but I bought an M8........
Strange, I know.
I needed to root, and found that it was telling me it's a M7. Even in ADB it tells me it's a M7.
I needed a dump, so I tried to use the M8 partition tabel, but I only go to 37 partitions...
And my mmcblk0p37 is 28 GB.
Strange I know.
Here's my question.
I updated to lollipop 5.0.2 and that update deleted some of my files. Stange, i know, but it did.
I also heard I'm not the only one who's missing files. A friend of mine, having an other HTC also got Lollipop, and is now missing 80% of her downloaded mp3's.
For me it's "worse". some unique audio recordings. And I realy like them back!!!
I tried a bunch of recovery stuff, nothing realy seem to work. I can see some of my contacts, or some facebook pic's, but I do'n need them.
I need ".wav"
I followed the thread on this site : asoftech --> articles android-internal-memory-recovery (html)
Seems legid. Just make a full dump, and try to recover from there.
It was some fillding, but I do have a dump of the 37 partition.
Stangly, I do have 1 mp3 on there, and 2 apk files.
And, with 3 different recover tools, I can not find any information. Not even the mp3, or the apk's.
Was this just a whaist of my time? or am I missing some?
And, how can I get my files back!!
And, why does this only seem to happen at HTC?
Lollipop deleted my files!! Help!
Please see below.
Help is appreciated!!!
