Where can i get the original firmware stock from my Xperiz Z?

Hi guys,
i come from many Samsung devices and for this devices there is the Sammobile site where to get and download the original firmware stock.. for the Xperia Z there is a similar site where get the original firmware stock? o
I need the italian original firmware stock....

You can create backup yourself. Download and use Sony update service, then there are guides on forum to be able to do that..
But that would only work if you still have stock firmware at the moment? Otherwise your only way is for a fellow Italian user to create a .FTF file and upload to a file-sharing site and share the link with you.
Are you using a custom Rom at the moment and want to go back to stock? Or are you just wanting a backup?

im now in a custom rom, I look for the firmware if i need it one day to send my XZ to Sony for warranty or for when i in the future sell it.
understand then now i must to wait if some italian user do the firmware? o there is another way? also if im in a cooked rom...

if you're using windows you can use the pc companion to download ( i did it to restore my phone ) then it downloads and restores the phone but be careful you have to stop it manually

if i understood the software on our PC, it is Sony Companion or SUS, recognizes the firmware on our phone and then download it.. the problem is now i havent on my XZ my Italian Original Stock Firmware and i cant download it

If your bootloader is still locked, simply use PC Companion to do a repair of the phone and it will flash stock ROM onto your device.
If your bootloader is unlocked, use this tool http://developer.sonymobile.com/services/flash-tool/

If you changed firmware than pc companion or sus will reinstall the same firmware you have,not the original one.
All you can do is waiting someone to upload the stock Italian firmware.

Thanks for the reply, but i think is really like say gm007, i need the XZ original to get this firmware.. now its to late, i have coked rom..
i must wait if someone Upload it...

well..its updated..first off.. i dont see much improvement in the cam,they say battery will b better..ill have to chek that and also the softwares will be smoother..need to chek that too

Hello friends, i have a Xperia TL with a locked bootloader, i want to flash stock firmware Android 4.3 to my device via flashtool.
But how can i root my decive before i flash this rom. I have a locked bootloader and it says "allowed= NO".
I need to root because i want to restore my apps and data.

You dont have to root your device to flash another firmware!

If you flash it with flashtool it's easy... Just disselect data wipe and then you don't need to restore your data or apps.

Same problem with me.
You can root ur TL by : this tool( Password : xdamobile )
So simple, download and install, wait a second then click root.
If success, confirm here. Good luck.
NOTE: this tool only can root xperia T 4.1.2

Thank you it worked now i have my tl rooted.. After i flash the firmware will the root still on?

No, if you flash FW via flashtool, the root is lost.
I think you should :
1. Back up ur app by titanium backup.
2. Download 4.1.2 stock FW LT30at from HERE
3. Download newest 4.3 Unbrand and flash it via flash tool (u must choose exclude baseband)
4. Root it by my tool
5. Restore app
If root fail at 4.3, u can flash 4.1.2 stock then root and restore app. Good luck

Nice try.
It installs a bunch of Chinese bloatware, language can't be changed and root CAN'T be obtained.
As much as I could understand it's a tool for MTK hardware and uses restore for root, and it doesn't work.

dear a_new_day, i was wondering if you would have a 'tool' for Xperia V (LT25i). I was searching the forums for a version that would work on my newly installed FM 9.2.A.1.199, JB 4.3. Your thread came up and I was hopeful but I read through it and it's for Xperia T :crying:
as of present I haven't yet found a working one for the new FM. I hope that DoomLord will soon come to the rescue...
thanks for whatever help/thread/link you can give. it's my only way to tweak the phone so as to increase the LIMIT number on SMS sent.

Pre-rooted rom..mrjraider has a good rooted full-stock rom(Downgrade to 4.1.2 then root blah blah blah)

Then you need to create your own tft(you don't want but there is no other way) or wait doomlord to release an exploit

If you share your ftf I can create a Pre rooted one for you. Will take a few hours tho.. I have more to do

Both PCC and SEUS now points to the same folder/files for updating, so either way is fine

If you just download it and remove phone before it starts flashing it wont. And you can use PCC I see.

I HAVEN'T ACTUALLY DONE THIS SO IT MIGHT NOT WORK. I'M ONLY TRYING TO HELP BUT TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK. ONLY DO THIS IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH RECOVERIES AND FTF FILES AND CAN GET YOURSELF OUT OF A SOFT BRICK.
First you have to downgrade to a version that can be rooted such as .254 and root it. Once rooted, you install a recovery for locked bootloader. Then you convert the .201 FTF into a zip and flash it in the recovery, then flash SuperSU. At this point you lost the recovery so you must flash SuperSU before rebooting. Flashing SuperSU you should be rooted. Install the recovery again if you want, too.

You could also install a pre rooted rom

Or you can update to 205 and use TowelRoot

At the moment none because I am pretty happy with Towelroot..
