I'm using ARHD GE 3.0, Bulletproof kernel, GPS off, WiFi off, Bluetooth off, low brightness, Google sync off, almost no apps and yet it drains for no reason! It doesn't even last 4 hours of screen time. Please help.
My usage is based on Whatsapp messaging [90% of the time] and sometimes surfing Chrome for very short periods.

Who is telling you they get 6 hours of screen time? Certainly not everyone here. I'm not sure I've seen a screenshot of that.

Android battery stats are the internet's new p***s measuring contest. It's possible to game the stats by monkeying with the settings so your phone isn't actually doing anything but sit there with the screen on at lowest brightness. Doesn't mean anything.
4 hours with normal configurations and usage seems fine to me.

And what about this: sometimes I charge to 100%, then when I use it for a minute it goes down to 99%, then I leave it for 5 minutes and it's suddenly 95%? It should take 1% per 3-4 minutes.

I've seen that happen with my phone sometimes, especially if it's been sitting on the charger at full charge for a while.
If it's continually dropping at that rate you have a problem, but I think there is something quirky with the battery voltage that confuses Android's battery calculations when you pull it off the charger. The phone trickle-charges the last 5% or so, and I think sometimes may stop short of true 100%, or stop charging altogether and let it drain a bit even on the charger. Plug it back in and charge to 100% and it seems to fix it.

I'm not sure thats actually the case, but perhaps. I may try it.
My battery level has never been below 60% as I am anal about having a charging source near by. The Radio Reset Issue is directly related to certian Programs (or versions thereof) and how they force connections to the internet.
Please anyone reading this. please lets try it out. please post your results back. Lets see if you can still get constant and good signal if your batery is below 50% .
and also if your having battry problems. like your phone sometimes refuses to charge. I think that it could be the battery. please lets all see.
My battery level is currently at a little under 40%. I have a full 5 bars of service and sound quality is the same as if the phone were at 100% (I called my voicemail and a friend to test it out)

Thanks for helping
i never had any problems with the signalstrenght and battery health,
even with 10% or less i still have maximum signal strength..
but i live nearby a cellbroadcast-antenna, so maybe that's why
Here's an update. My battery life is at 29% and still no drop in call quality. I just had a 10 minute convo with somebody and she could hear me perfectly fine.
Thanks. From my observations, at least with me, If your loosing signals and you notice it happens when your battery is below 50%, or sometimes when you try to charge your mda and the battery refuses to charge, Then its the battery.
Get a new battery.
Thanks for those that helped.

Okay I'll admit that there have been 2 times in the 6 months I've have my phone that my battery accidently went flat but otherwise I can count on one hand the number of time it has been below 60%. I've had it off the charger for hours and my battery is just fine. Even had a two hour call once without being plugged-in using my BT headset. Still plenty of juice when I hung-up the call.
Great !
Dont know where But I read it at the P910 Forum somewhere.
A user had his phone charging on the cradle.
The moment he got a call, he picked up to answer that.
The call lasted for barely 5 mins.
After the call he put it back on the Cradle.(for charging)
SINCE THEN he says" the battery went KAPUT !
He says that an expert told him that he should have waited to Recharge the battery a BIT more than 10-15 mins allowing the batt. to cool down a Bit.
If this si the case None of the MANUALS MENTION THIS EVER and these people do Provide warranties too...
Funny.......

Dear All,
here is my Note 2.3.6 stock rom with Franco #6 kernel Battery usage (in pic 1&2)
It shows that my note was awake mostly all the time although as you can see from the pic that the phone screen is off most of the time (almost did not use it that day)

1-is this because I was leaving the wifi on most the time?
Edit: I turned the wifi before sleep and after 6 hours I found the phone was awake all the 6 hours and sygic was off
this an old pic (couple of days before) and you can see my wifi was on all the time while the phone was not awake most of the time
2- Why my signal bar in pic is yellow and not green as usual?
and in pic 2 here is my apps, so which one caused this awake?
Final results after long day of asking, getting help from replies here, reading and trying, everything is fixed after doing restart

Don't keep your WiFi and GPS (Sygic) on all the time. Looks like that's what's stopping your Note from going to sleep.
Don't know if this is an actual fix, but what I discovered is that turning the screen off by pressing the 'Power' button on the side helps tremendously in preserving my battery life. If I just let the screen time out, my battery gets drained big time.
This may/may not work for you, but it's worth a shot...
(EDIT: This still holds true even when I keep my wi-fi on)
thank you to all who replied here, the main thread is updated , please read it

Well both old and recent screenshots show the same battery drain and quite similar usage, they lasted for a day and a couple hours.. I think it's a glitch in the system info.
Had a problem a week ago with heavy battery drain in a quite similar manner and I can guarantee that if the phone didn't entered sleep mode it wouldn't even last those 24hrs.

do you mean that the phone entered deep sleep but the results are not correct or not true?
I have also CPU Spy and it shows that my phone did not enter deep sleep during the last 30 hours (or more)
try uninstalling Sygic.

Well that translates to 33 hours of battery life so that's pretty good
This phone is different from others in that the lowest frequency (384mhz) is very high (my nexus 7 stays at 104mhz a lot), so minimizing the number of apps that make use of the phone when it's locked is key, as they would make it run at 384mhz, stamina mode is good with this but I assume you already have it on
So try to search for apps that use services that always run in the background and uninstall the ones you don't use very often
The same thing happened to my SP but only for 3-4 days after flashing a rom, then it was stable and the battery decreased from 100 to 15% after 2 days (light-use) or 24 hours (3G and Location based Wifi were on, without Stamina or Low battery mode enabled).
So, have u flashed rom already?

1% in 20 minutes when display is off. i charge my phone after 15-17 hours. that's how much it actually lasts.

Hi!
I've searched the forum but didn't find a straight answer. What's your battery life?
Mine, having no apps, few notifications, black face and always on get just 13h. And that's frustrating. My unit it's just three day's old and if this is the expected performance I will return it at once. What do you think?
Thanks!
I'm getting over 2 full days easy. But I also have enough ambient mode turned off so the screen is completely off, unless I get a notification or am using it.

Just a update before I put my watch on the charger.
2PM on the 19th to 8:35PM on the 21st
I usually get 2-3 days with moderate usage. Always-on screen enabled seems to be about the same as when it is disabled for me so I leave it enabled now. However, my watch screen does shut off from 0000-0650 hrs everyday. If you aren't playing with your watch a lot then 13 hours seems unreasonable.
I just checked mine : 72% remaining after 13 hours. Always on enabled - used lightly (notifications and some small utilities). I'm charging it every evening though .. just to have it 100% in the morning.
Thanks!
After a watch reboot it seems I'm getting a couple of days of battery life. I imagine I had some mysterious app depleting my battery. So I'm keeping the watch.
I have also experienced poor performance of my LG G Watch R. It will drop from 100% to 0% charge in 4-6 hours. When I look at the AndroidWear log, it shows about 15-30% power drop over various applications. I am then questioning where the other 70% power drop has gone.
This is extremely frustrating. When the Bluetooth is off on my phone, the power drop is as expected - a few percent every hour.
Anybody else have this issue? Could it be my phone? I have a Galaxy Note 3 on the Verizon network.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Cheers,
B.D.
Yes, I also had the issue today, already for the 2nd time in the past 2 weeks. Something happens and the battery starts depleting quickly ...
Any idea how can I see which apps have caused this rapid battery drain? Someone mentioned android log ...

I'm getting 2-3 hours of battery life. I've had the watch for less than 24 hours. I realize once an update is done battery life isnt optimal for a day or two on Android but this is nuts. I have screen always off and haven't installed any apps. I'm gonna give it to Monday and If I'm still seeing this drain, It's going back to Google.

I read recently that there is a bug in the battery meter when watch is shipped. It will show 100% then drop very quickly for first few days. I've had mine nearly two weeks and I get through a shift at work (8hrs) with 60%+ remaining. I work nights so I keep brightness set at 1 which probably helps. Hope it gets better after a few cycles.
The device is new, has only 2 weeks of use and I've updated it to MiUi 12.5.6 (RKLEUXM). My use is very moderate, some videos, social network just for conversations and only wi-fi connection. After the update, I noticed high battery usage even when I'm sleeping with all connections turned off. Obviously there is some battery thief, but it only appears in the graph as "smartphone services", this is not normal. Any idea?
I can even feel the phone a little warm around the cameras when I'm using it for basic stuff.

Try battery guru's app...
It's seem a 12.5 MIUI problem for all Xiaomi note 10 series
Something(s) are running in the background.
Try putting into Safe mode at night to rule out 3rd party apps.
Track down the culprits and deal with each on a case by case basis.
I have this device since August 27th, after setting it up, I started optimizing it, restricted background use for a lot of apps, well, everything that could be disabled or restricted, I only gave free pass to apps I consider important, but, the reults were really bad, 17% of overnight drain! Long story short, the optimization must be done very carefully, trying to stop all kind of things might prove negative, by trial and error, I now get a good battery life, now it barely consumes 1% in 8-9 hrs idling at night, aod off, wifi on, gps on, so, try to optimize your device carefully

Hi,
Did you single out what was the culrpit. I have disabled every non essential app, tried this solution: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/improving-battery-life-on-miui-12.4139913/
But nothing helps. It only shows that android system is drawing power.
I will be glad if you could point what you made to fix your phone
If there is any Firewall that can log with the newer "secure" OS's you can use that to help pinpoint the rogue apk(s).
With Pie I use Karma Firewall but it's logging feature doesn't starting with 10.
After doing everything I could think of, the AOD seems to be the culprit, even thoug I really like it, when disabling it, overnight battery consumption lowered to 1% in a 7 hrs period

Is tap on an option?
No, to achieve this low bat comsuption, I disabled miui optimizations, then, the option for aod is on or off, no more settings, I really like the aod, but the drain while idling drives me nuts... I painfully miss my galaxy note 10+.....
Meh, I hear that. It's to the point I got a second new 10+ while they're still available. They are the last of the stock devices running on Q.
I won't touch 11 or 12. Funny thing is it doesn't run like an outdated dinosaur.
Been a real bad year for Android...
