What happen to Melvin and the Beastmod thread

Is there no more beastmod support. If not what happen?

I spoke with Mel and he said he's gonna continue on droid-tech.com. From what I was told it was a misunderstanding of some sort. Just follow him on droid-tech. He'll definitely be missed by me and many others. Luckily I have the privilege of contacting him via gtalk.

Looks like it got locked because he got banned from xda. Don't know why. If you want to follow his ROM, like I do, I think you can find his thread on Droid tech. It's a much smaller forum but I think he's there.

What's the actual URL of that site please? Can't seem to Google it. I've tried a number of combinations. Droidtech.com gets: NOTICE: This domain name expired on 11/09/2011 and is pending renewal or deletion. NOTICE: This domain name expired on 11/09/2011 and is pending renewal or deletion. And droid-tech.com gets nothing.

UPDATE: Mel said follow his twitter. He's about to post a letter on twitter about what happen I guess. @bosina_dev is his name. He also said look out for him on droid-tech.com

That's the ironic thing - in certain company, I do! I have a filthier mouth than Deb Morgan (if you don't know who she is, search youtube for deb morgan filthy mouth). It's just not appropriate if you don't know the company, and when there's a potential 300,000 people reading what you write I think it's best to assume it may offend and not do it.

I find that if you only swear when it's really called for, then people actually take notice, compared with someone who f's and blinds every other word.
For instance, when I've worked on a support desk and something major goes wrong, if I swear people look up, take notice, offer their support and the problem gets resolved quicker, where as one of my colleagues who'd always be swearing would just get ignored.

Idk,I really don't find swearing something offensive and especially if its not pointed to anyone...

Me neither. As far as I see it, they're just words like "broken" and "bad". It's just consideration for others that are offended that I think needs to be remembered. Besides, it's in the rules so this isn't the place for it.

Which begs the question "why bother swearing?"
If they're just words to you, then they don't add anything.
They're an important part of the English language, their purpose is to impose a shock on others, even if it's just a small one. If they lose that then there is no point in using them.
Compare these sentences:
"He had an open wound on his leg"
"He had an oozing open wound on his leg"
The second one paints a much grimmer image simply by adding a word.
It brings different images to mind.

Actually Transformers is a great video to test your display with. Lots of colors and fast moving objects, etc. I understand though as I have the 7 also..

It'll be on the cloud, you can stream it or pin it to your device if you wish.

Sad Night

Recently by mistake i instaled bad kernel, any my Galaxy 2 is dead, i can go to download mode (so its not bricked) and instal new rom via odin but.. my USB cable is dead too. when i plug in only cable to pc, system show "unreconized device" Now is 4:45am, everybody are sleeping and i'm without my phone, with no cable and noonewho can borrow me :C

Last night I had a sad night too. Was raining, installed 4.3 google edition on my s4 and full of bugs, almost all apps down, for about 2 hours no internet connection, and finished last pack of cigarettes. No shop open. I coudn't even sleep. Fixed all of them in the morning.

Android DUH! Ios doesn't support game controls And mouse input natively. It also doesn't have multiple app stores. And you change change how the home screen oar anything works. And rooting is a much better playground than playing cat and mouse with apple by jailbreaking. Oh, and better specs and more choice so games can have better graphics if the development time was put in.
