Hi,
I use " Android Revolution HD 12.2" ROM with ElementalX 3.4...
How can I change the functionality of the home button to show "settings" instead of "google now" ?
Thanks for the helpers

If you didn't adjust the setting before flashing custom kernel then you won't see the option in settings/display, gestures, & buttons.
You'll need to reflash ARHD to get stock kernel back, change setting, then reflash custom kernel.

I use SinLessROM GE v3.5.4
How I can change this settings in Google Edition Roms?

For all mod of the button, you have to use a custom kernel.
However, in Viper Rom, you can set this with the stock kernel...
And you can set also the back button or setting the VenomPIE!

Changing the Kernel shouldn't do what you have mentioned.
1. Go to settings.
2. Scroll down until you hit about device.
3. Scroll to bottom again and check the last one.
Edit: And yes you can have a Custom ROM without changing the kernel, it should say what kernel it has in the description of the ROM.
I use:

[MOD] Reboot option in Power Menu, stock feeling (no submenu) [434, DEODEX]

Reboot option in Power Menu, nice and simply stock feeling.
Only for DEODEXED 10.1.A.1.434 based ROM.
ExPower_Reboot_434_DEODEXED_v1
ROM cookers may localize "Reboot" string (by default it is in English and Russian) and change reboot icon in external-res.apk.
P.S. I will not make ODEX version.
It works ! Thanks very much !
Can somebody make this for ODEXED firmware
OP won't make it
Looks good. Mind if I add this to the next version of my ROM?

Thanks!

Yes it is possible. May be I will add it later as long press on reboot menu (like long press on power off menu - safe mode reboot).
that would be so cool.

Hey, can you make it so that when you press reboot it comes up with "Reboot Now?", because it's always good to have a little confirmation!
Thanks for the little tweak

[PORT] ViperOne 8.0.0 M7 for HTC Butterfly S

Hi all,
After testing for more than 2 weeks, I want to share my personal project: direct port ROM from HTC One M7 ROM ViperOne 8.0.0 for HTC Butterfly S Single SIM. Beefore flashing this ROM, please read requirements and bugs below. Of course I'm NOT responsible for any damage taken because flashing this ROM. Consider this ROM is BETA for our phone and flash it with your own risk.
Requirements:
HTC Butterfly S 901 S/E (Single SIM)
Be on latest firmware
Using Recommended Recovery (attached)
Please full wipe and use advanced wipe (cache, dalvik cache, data, system) before flashing
Flash boot.img provided in the ROM zip after flashing (reboot into bootloader first after flashing)
So here is the ROM link:
Moderator Information link has been removed
Recommended Recovery:
TWRP 2.7.0.x
Bugs:
Backup this ROM works but restoring backup always failed (TWRP bugs maybe?).
You tell me.
If you want to avoid the bugs, use this recovery (TWRP 2.8.6.0) instead (not tested btw).
Enjoy this ROM.
Any question regarding this ROM please ask on this thread only instead asking in the HTC One M7 ROM main thread since its ported and not supported directly by team Venom. Huge thanks and credit for Team Venom that provided this beautiful ROM and also @Matri}{ for provided "stock like Lollipop kernel" for our phone. :good:

THANKS!
been using it for some days now and i must say, its an excellent rom.
just one thing though; can you fix the button layout for our butterfly s ?
the m7 had only back and home buttons and viperone relies on that configuration.
thank you.

I had to change button because of venom tweaks option. So I changed the layout for recent button to be a menu button and you can access recent app by using longpress home. ?
I think it suits better because it's not interfere with venom tweaks.

Speaker roaring? Never had one mate. How can we reproduce that?
Flashlight issue might be because of venom tweaks. Afaik default long press power button when screen off activate flashlight and to turn off you have to hold power button again. You can modified it through venom tweaks but you cannot turn it off via flashlight app.
