Are you trying this in the stock Android browser or Chrome? In the stock browser, try enabling the following:
-In the main drop-down menu, select "Enable Flash player"
-Go to "Settings" -> "Advanced" and select "Enable JavaScript" and "Enable GIF animation"
These are mostly shots in the dark, but you never know...

There are also apps in the play store. Tiny cam works well if your camera is supported. And it will let you stream multiple cameras simultaneously if I remember correctly (I haven't used it in a while.)

Hi.
In short: How can I avoid that pesky "not available on mobile" message and watch Youtube videos just like on my computer??
Long version:
I sometimes run into the "Not Available on Mobile" message when trying to run a Youtube link from facebook/twitter and such. Example: youtube.com/watch?v=jRKsxAsQgAk (as of 16/4/2011 2pm cest)
First try:
On my Desire and Desire HD they had an option in the Internet Settings to disable "mobile view" of websites, and as such I could just open youtube videos in the browser instead of the Youtube App. On LG there is no such menu option available there?
Second try:
Found another way to disable mobile view, in the HiddenMenu(call '1809#*990#' , credits to Paul for this) where you can switch or change the User Agent string yourself.
First I tried the Mozilla one in the list, but then websites tells me that my browser is outdated. Then I copied the one from my PC (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; da; rv:1.9.2.16) Gecko/20110319 Firefox/3.6.16) and used that instead.
Now youtube doesnt whine about my browser being updated, instead it tells me that I need Flash player 10. I checked in Android Market and I have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player (10.2).
Now I don't know what to try next. Is it possible in the UAString to tell the browser that I do have Flash 10?
Not sure about the app or firefox, but the xscope browser has user agent in settings. Whenever I have that issue I just change that and can watch the video. Never had an issue with it not finding flash.

Hey guys, do any of you have problems with Dolphin HD when trying to watch YouTube videos? Whenever I go to the YouTube site (not the mobile site) and click on a video, Dolphin HD always prompts me to "Select an action" in order to view the video. It gives me 3 choices: Dolphin HD, the stock browser, and the YouTube app.
Normally this wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that it asks me this every darn time I want to watch a video. And strangely enough, there's no checkbox to use my choice as the Default action, so I'm stuck with this annoying prompt.
Anyone else having this problem? Thanks in advance.
Ive been using Dolphin Browser HD for a while now and its problem free for me when i use youtube. Make sure you havent altered any settings in the browser. Restart. Reinstall the app. If problems persist try contacting the people that make it. Good luck
Yes, I have that same issue - but only if i'm coming from the youtube site itself to the specific video.
if you search for videos on google videos instead, and then go to youtube from there, it doesn't get triggered. best workaround i can offer you.
Have you tried changing user agent?

When playing you tube videos there is a cast button blocking the video. I can't click it. Video is dim. Clearing cache doesn't help. Suggestions?

i experience the same thing. Uninstall updates from apps. This reverts to old version of youtube. But the only problem is the old youtube layout is different
I had the same problem. What I did was to try to connect, and disconnect right away. But it seems that I need to do this every time I launch the app. So annoying. Does anyone know a better solution?
Is there a cast button on the upper right corner of the main screen of the app? If so, try to deselect it.
Mine does this when I have that selected and am watching them in my TV. If I unselected it, then I can watch them on my device.
When I select Timeshift-Video from the camera options and record a video (no matter to internal or class 10 SD card), it indeed does record a video and the small thumbnail also shows "120f" after saving. But then playback is just like any other regular video, that is, in real time. Hence, no timeshift/slow-motion anywhere. Further, I don't get this -well, how to describe it- settings circle on the screen for playback adjustments I used to see on the Z2.
Phone is stock (BL locked) with FW .98 DE. Anyone experienced the same issue or is that just me? Any hints appreciated.
I have the same problem. I tried internal memory an sd card, its just not working.
Strange...
Try to open the video and then push the edit button.
Normmaly the video editor opens and you can choose the sequence and the speed of the video...

Exactly, that's how it should normally work, but it doesn't on my phone. Also, there's no edit button anywhere, only on photos.
What FW version/build do you have installed? Maybe that's something that got fixed in .105 (I'm on .98)?
23.0.A.2.93 is my version. Same problem mine does not have a edit button. Only star and trashcan buttons are available.
Finally figured it out...
Check for App "Movie Creator" to actually appear twice under Settings-> Apps -> All.
Movie Creator 1.3.A.0.11
Movie Creator 2.0.A.0.10
Now, since I did not want these great automatic movies to get created thereby filling up (if only a bit) my precious storage, I disabled both of them.
That was one too much
(Re-)Enabling the one with the older version alone (Movie Creator 1.3.A.0.11) brings back full functionality of Timeshift Videos.
However, why Sony has tied these together (Timeshift Videos and Movie Creator) is beyond me...
Excellent!
THANKTHANKTHANK THANK I LOVE !! fix it
for me the Movie Creator wont show the 120 fps video and when i am in the video i cant press "edit". it wont show at all
so is there another way to watch those 120 fps in slowmo? on pc? on the device with another videoplayer perhaps?

i tried removing the app and reinstalling it from the playstore, but still no timeshift editting.
how did you do that?
Are you on Android 5? Not sure whether they got renamed since 4.4.4 (which I'm still using). Check System Apps with say Es File Explorer, too.

go in to your 120f video like your going to play it. but instead of tepping the middle of the screen to play it tap underneath it. youll see what looks like a
press that icon. then you can adjust what speed and trim the video
Kind XDA users,
I figured out a way to stream YouTube using a Note 4 on Android version 4.4.4 while the screen is off.
Also tried this on S6 and different phones on v5.0+.
Sadly it does not work on these models / versions.
Please note I use the default browser, I have no clue or it would work using a different browser. Tried to search or it was posted before, could not find it, thought I should share it, so here you go:
1. ) Find a YouTube video and launch fullscreen (from stock browser).
2.) Drag your status bar all the way down while the video plays fullscreen.
3.) Press the power button, screen should turn off but the audio keeps playing.
Edit: It seems that when you create a floating window and launch a fullscreen video in it, then unfocus the window (by for example tapping the homescreen) and powering off the device: results in the same thing.
Perhaps this way it would work on 4.4.4+ not sure, can not test at this moment.
Kind regards, Stefan.
I just tried the second trick with note 4 and it didn't work
Guys, for this feature search for OGYoutube.
