Hey Guys, just a quick one from me here, you may have found this Tutorial Loafing around on various places at xda but i may as well share it with you and make it device specific!
This doesn't add or change anything, just replaces stock lockscreen (Which i love) With the JB AOSP one (Which i also love)
Requirements:
- Stock Rom/Based Rom
- Root Access
- A Root file explorer ( I use ES and give it RW perms )
- A Thumb Of course
Click to collapse
Open your chosen file explorer and gain root permissions/give it root access or whatever you would like to call it
Now navigate to /system/Apps
Scroll a little till you find the Lockscreen3.apk (Well mine was called that)
Long press or select or whatever to give you the ability to rename it
Now change the file extension to Lockscreen3.apk.bak obviously not in red but you need to add that bit
Now reboot
NOTICE:
To return to stock, change the file name back to .apk
Upon boot you will have an AOSP jb Lockscreen Which would look similar to this one:

Hello guys this is my second Bootanimation and hope you guys like it.
Download:
MediaFire: Download
Installation:
1. Copy bootanimation.zip to the root of your SD Card
2. Move it to /data/local/ or /system/media/ and replace existing one using root explorer.
Reboot and Enjoy!
If animation is to fast or if you need it to work on your older phone, open attached desc.txt file and just modify the the resolution values based on your device screen size (high end devices 480x800 (width x height).
Example: if your resolution values are 320x480, your txt file should look like this in the first line:
320 480 12

This is the new Moshiach tweaks package
It contains the following tweaks, for 2.2.1 and below
(Probably great for Gingerbread too but not tested on ICS -
if someone wants to test on ICS and let me how it goes, that would be great):
Beats Audio
My Famous GPS Tweaks
My Media Scanner Binaries - SD Card scanned in 3 seconds!
Wifi Tweaks
Everything you need to get that Vibrant running and sounding great
This does not need a kernel with init.d support.

You don't flash it via cmw. You have to use an app such as script manager and run the script. \(^o^)/

Probably not going to work on ICS - this can be flashed through cwm on GB and below. To try on ICS you will probably need to save to your card and use root explorer to move the folders inside the Moshiach.Tweaks.Edify_signed/system and Moshiach.Tweaks.Edify_signed/data folders into your system and data folders and allow the few that want to overwrite to do so.
ok im a noob,so i don't understand anything about moving...so i wait and see if anyone else got it to work on ics...

The apk will be within the zip so you can just extract it then manually push it into /system/app using an explorer like root explorer. You will obviously have to be rooted for this or a signed apk will have to be made so you can do a regular install.
Thanks!

Sorry kind of rushed that post, you need to set permissions to rw-r--r-- or 644 which I'm guessing you already did and then reboot your phone for it to take effect properly. This is what I've always done on all my phones and tends to work.
One thing I'm wondering, is it named the same or different to the existing app? Maybe it's a conflict if you have both still there?
I don't actually have the phone so just going off previous experience as always served me well.

to get a fully working album app, extract the libraries from "album.apk/lib" with your zip explorer and copy them manually to root/system/lib folder
no need to replace if asked, set 644 permissions as usual
:highfive:
pd. it seems to be an issue from the flashable zip that only contains 2 of those libs, but i'm just a novice on things like recovery, special thanks to Till-Kruspe for his useful contributions
the album app is the only one working...thanks
Manually moved everything into system folders and set permissions, everything seems to work fine on Xperia T, thanks.
happy for you.
what do you mean by "everything"? and how, please?
Uh, everything = all of the apps.
I already listed how, I moved the relevant files to /system/app/, /system/lib/ and /system/framework/ and set permissions.
At least it worked, thanks all!
BTW, every time I restart my phone, I get "Android is Updating" "Optimizing Apps" window. Not a big deal but it's a long boot each time...
I think I won't shut it anymore...
Should only happen once for the dalvik cache...

Sorry mate, I was not at home so I cannot feedback before. The v2 worked partially. I mean, if I look for the apk files in the browser (also in Settings > Applications) they have the moded icon, but in the launcher they still have the old ones. This behaviour just happens with Album, Walkman, Movies, Radio, Camera (in v1 it was OK, but not in v2) and Sony select.
Later I can post some pics.

BTW, v1 worked perfect on my father's T (my old T).
I'll have to wait 12 days to do further tests on it.
Thanks a lot for testing !
Just for further info.
The camera icon was working on the first version, but not in the v2. I don't really know why.
The media apks are the last version of each one (look at this post). What I do is to push the apk files to the system/app folder. So, maybe that's why it is not in the data partition.
Update v2: icon "settings" added, created by me[/SIZE]
