Hi,
Can any of you wizzards make a reg tweak to add a setting to only vibrate once, only i want to know if its ringing but if im in the middle of something important it does my head in when it vibrates for ages and it so lound.
Thanks a lot
Jason
Chainfire / Nikagl already has, it's in KaiserTweak, which is one of the stickies on top of the forums. (Ringtones section)
If that doesn't do it for you, searching for 'change vibrate kaiser' on this forum using google (see that tab up there) would have given you the manual way with regedit in item #4 and #8.
Please try searching before posting in the future. If you have further questions regarding this topic, ask in one of those threads. This redundant thread is closed.
If you are annoyed by the Diamond keyboard displaying your previous typos when suggesting words in T9 mode like I was, fret no more! Cos I have found and tested an existing solution to this.
The app is found at an older post in the Smartphones forum.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=404130
You can insert/delete/edit words and they will appear on your keyboard's words without a soft reset.
Attached is the app for convenience. extract and dump it in your Diamond.
PS: Anyone has the expertise and time to make a cab for it?
Dude, all I use is eT9MyWords.exe, nothing else.
Got that file from here:

Seems to have a bigger size...
oops didnt realise that there is already an existing post on this. Seems that my search didnt return that thread.
Mod delete/close this thread?
Hi everyone.
I read some of 100 pages in this section, but I only find one thread with one message about the possibility of using a USB keyboard (the thread is closed!). Why the thread is closed? I don't understand what means "Documentation from Qualcomm will likely be required in order to make use of the feature".
I think the idea of using an USB Keyboard on G1 isn't so useful, but connect a digital camera such as mass storage is a great idea (or an external HD for whatching films or play songs).
What do you think about this?
Probably wrong forum, should've went under just Dream
This is the right forum because it would require serious development. I'm also interested in getting some USB host action in Android builds. This was a great feature on my old Nokia N800.
I would love to see the ability to use any form of keyboard with the G1 wired or not.
I think it require development and a development based on the specific hardware of Dream... Someone know how Qualcomm enter in this thread?
The previous post I read is here
Well, lets not just focus on keyboard usage. USB host will also let you connect things like external hard drives, usb hubs (usually powered) to your device. I think this should be looked into and not just ignored because there's a KB workaround.

Android Screencast lets you use your computer's keyboard on your device. It's still being worked on but it's a pretty awesome program that can be used on multiple OS's
Click to collapse
Please forget the Keyboard... the focus is the possibility of connect every kind of hardware through USB port! We'll only need the right driver!
i think it has the capability but it is not wired correctly or something like that
Someone know where I can read about usb host on dream?
Well!
The thread was moved to "Dream Q&A" section...
In effect mine is a question and I'm searching an answer, but I'm searching a developer too! I posted it in these section because there someone should keep my idea and produce an application!
May be in the FAQ section is more appropriate, but i don't agree...
Hello,
any progress about it?
hi all, i got a galaxy i9000 showing "too many pattern attempts" , hard reset didn't fix my problem, is there a way to?
br
This thread belongs in Q&A.
Please read the rules for posting in Development: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788800
.............................................
bono.bel, as chambo and lalaca have pointed out, this type of thread belongs in the Q&A section rather than in development...as someone with your tenure should surely be aware of.
Your english is good enough that we shouldn't criticize that, but members who take the time and effort to learn and follow the rules about using the dev section for its intended purpose do get frustrated when others don't do the same. Please just be mindful of that going forward and we'll all be just fine
That link that lalaca provided above is a good place to start if you need to go over those guidelines again.
thanks sirphunkee and sorry for the disturb, i didn't know that i should post my problem here.
It should allow you to enter your google email details to reset the pattern by selecting the "forgotten password" button at the bottom
What if you didn't set up a google email account yet because you just bought the phone?
This solved my problem:

i solved my problem by full flash.

I posted this question in error on this forum!! I meant to be in the Asus TF700 forum and didn't realize it until I had posted it -- I had both forums open in different tabs.
BUT, I went to edit/delete and could NOT find an option to delete the post, only edit it.
Any advice appreciated to fix this.
cant delete threads.. unless Moderator does it himself
