Min frequency trickstermod - LG Optimus 4X HD

Hello guys i just wanna have solution abt min frequency keep coming back to 1500 i cant set it to 102 ...is it a bug ? Im on iodak v7 kernel

I have the same it says it comr back but it really is 100mhz you can see it bij trickstermod info

I don't recommend using trickstermod, cause of very fast battery draining (paradoxal, I know). I had it set to 860 mhz max and 102 mhz min, all 4 cores, and in pure stand-by mode it drained 15-20% of batt with everything off, checked and re-checked, in around an hour or less. Devs' explanation was that the SoC probably kept the CPU at that max set frequency all the time. But... shouldn't TM control the frequencies? Isn't that what it's for?

[Q] No Frills or SetCPU?? Best suitable min frequency other than 100 mhz??

Which over clocking app is better No Frills or Set CPU?? Suggest other good overclocking app if there..
Which min frequency other than 100 mhz is better for smmoth functiong( not at the cost of battery).
I m on Darky Rom 10.2.2 EE
Dark Core Kernel 2.9.
There is no frequency better than 100 mhz if you don't want to lose battery. Common sense, please.
Set cpu is my prefered tool atleast

[Q] how to improve battery live on cm7 squadzone?

can some one tell me how to improve battery live on my galaxymini, im using cm 7 from squadzone. thans before guys...........
hahaha.....
u can tr many things to improve battery life.....
1.> callibrate your battery..
2.> download battery saving apps like juice defender or battery save from google market..
3.> if you have wifi, avoid using 3G on your phone..
4.> if you use only 2G network, select the USE ONLY 2G option in wireless and network settings.
5.> set brightness level to 25% (or more if u have EYESIGHT problems )
But the battery life depends on frequency of your CPU in squadzone's cm7.I recommend frequency of about 710 MHz for longer battery life.

710 MHz is for better performance... for better battery, v shud keep it at 600 MHz or infact lower it to 480 MHz .
i dont need any donations... ;-) but i do need THANKS to my posts...
I think set the cpu speed 480 MHz Max at screen off is good. Won't reduce performance so much, and save your battery.
If you're using setcpu then create your profiles for different conditions. And also when you're on mobile you should have 710MHZ(thread is for cm7) ,if you don't need that then its better to be on stock ROM

Use only 2g
Reduce brightness to min
Use juice defender
Set min freq to 122mhz and max freq to 600mhz or below
Use 3g or wifi as less as possible
Set min screen off freq to 122mhz
When not using the phone, choose the cpu governer as powersave
While sleeping, if u think u won't get any calls put the phone in flight mode.
Use scripts like v6 supercharger etc to set OOM values to aggressive so that memory is free and less apps are running. This greatly helps.
Use cpu monitornig apps to see which apps are running in background. If they are unnecessary, uninstall them.
Turn off wifi,3g,2g, gps, etc when not in use.
Funny thing is that 122-480 mhz freq. use same voltage , witch means they consume same battery.

My suggestion
well, based on my self, I've set the CPU using conservative in government, 710MHz in max. clock, 245 in min clock and sio in I/O scheduler and that really save my battery
What average battery life you get.

I have like 10% drop per hour and half usage. And no drain at all in deep sleep. Noticed that min clock doesnt matter same as max clock between 600 - 768.

I recommend always disable some tweaks...

tweaks like?
What about changing the rom? Is that an option? If yes and you want to stay with cm7.2 then mebiteks latest rc0 or rc1 are an option.
Maybe the new cyanmobile from squad could also be an option.

Best setting is not only turn cpu down. Display, auto sync, ect ect
Ok i was testing the cpu settings im on min 200mhz max 500mhz this is mindblowing got 6 hours screen on most of the time so yes very heavy usage and at the same time i was downloading at 200 plus kbs plus typing this and foing multi tasking gonna keep these settings for good

underclocked o4x

my battery is so horrible it lasts 5 houers. i tried underclocking by using the app SET CPU. i clocked it down to 1ghz, and doesent see mutch inprovment. and the phone is just as smoth at 1ghz as it is on 1,5 ghz. is it any danger in having it underclocked at 1ghz?and ehen clocking it with set cpu, does it only underclock 2 of 4 prossesors? i read that it onlu clocks 2 of the 4 prosessors, and why? thank u!
Well i underclocked mine to 720 u even can go lower then that. But then it starts to get buggy. And it seems like something must be keeping ur phone awake. That's bad battery if u don't use it. If u used it 5 hours straight then that isnt to shabby.

Underclocking S III Mini??

I cant underclock mine, anyone here suceeded underclocking their device?? Im trying to make my device 1000mhz max 200 mhz min when screen on , 600 mhz max 200 mhz min when screen off but how low i set my max freuqency it stills stays on 1000 mhz. I know power saving thing can allow u to underclock but the max frequency was only 800 mhz.

Try an app called on google play one power guard it works for me. Allows you to set your own custom frequencies.

use setCPU or nofrills
Doesnt work

Freeze the TwDVFS package in Titanium Backup, then try again. You will lose power saving mode this way, but you will gain control over CPU frequency.
Freezing the package doesnt have any effect for me. Using SETCPU, have general setting 1000/200 with governor conservative, scheduler noop, applying at boot and it works fine, have a great performance and a really good battery live but profiles i create wont be applied. Wanted to create a profile with lower frequencies at a battery level under/equal a value of 20% but no success for me. Tried with all governers incl. the powersave - but nothing changes. Of course rooted, with OXXAMB2 fw and stock kernel...

Thank you for the feedback, I'm actually surprised. I haven't tested freezing TwDVFS but its name and kmsg seemed to point out that it was in charge of breaking CPU profiles.
