Hi Everyone,
I just installed Android Revolution (latest version) on my AT&T one. Then I tried to flash the teaMseven_kernel_SENSE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2255160) kernel. This is were things get hairy. My phone said that It flashed the kernel successfully, and so I hit the reboot button. My phone showed the "This is for developmental purposes only...." page and then turned off. After it is off, if I hold the volume and power buttons down to boot into recovery then the home and back buttons keep blinking. This keeps happening to me, I have tried everything on the forum. It won't reboot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My recovery is TWRP.
Thanks,

Hello all,
I was working with my gf's CDMA Hero and I think that I have turned it into a brick. Here's the rundown of what will and will not happen...
WILL:
- power up to HTC logo screen. Occasionally will reboot on its own to HTC logo screen.
WON'T
- boot into recovery ROM by holding down HOME button when powering up. Was using Clockwork 3.0.0.5.
- boot into fastboot mode by holding down VOL DOWN button when powering up.
- boot into hboot mode by holding down VOL UP button when powering up.
- boot into OS. Was using CyanogenMod 6.1.0.
- initiate factory reset by holding down HOME and BACK buttons when powering up.
- restore via HTC Sprint RUU installer.
- appear as visible to ADB.
All the threads I've looked through so far seem to indicate that if you get an HTC screen, you aren't bricked. On the other hand, none of those threads have described the situation I'm in. Please help!
UPDATE - Moments after posting this, I was able to get back into the recovery mode and RUU'd the lil' bastard.
Hey guys,
So this is quite troubling as I have just had my HTC One for a couple of days now.
So far, what I've done is:
- Revone to achieve S-OFF
- Superboot to achieve Root
- Rom Manager to achieve Custom Recovery
- Nandroid backup then flashed Android Revolution 10.2 HD
- Used it for about 24 hours without a hitch
- Decide to try Sweep2wake, logo as menu etc
- Flash teaMseven_kernel_SENSE
That's when the problem happened. I think what I neglected to think about was whether or not this kernel would be compatible with the 4.2.2 of Android Revolution ROM. The kernel flashed fine but then now when I press the power button, nothing happens except the two capacitive buttons start blinking. Same thing for Power Button + Vol Down for bootloader.
So, is this device bricked?
Thanks for your help/time.

Is not bricked, but you installed a kernel not compatible, the problem is that probably you had fastboot activated and the phone wont boot in bootloader/recovery...
Try to Hold down power only until buttons flash at least ten times, then press and hold vol-down. Release power, still holding vol-down. You should reboot into bootloader.
If that doesn't help hold the power and volume down while you hold the sensors right in front of a bright light. Hold until it boots into hboot.
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
same problem
try both and it didnt work plz help i cant lose my love like this anyone plz im s-off unlock bootloader
EDIT: NEVER MIND POWER AND VOL DOWN AT THE SAME TIME THNK YOU GUY ANYWAYS FOR BEING HERE XDA RULES
I posted this in ATT HTC One, but it's not getting any attention.
Unlocked and rooted my phone last night using the latest version of TWRP. I mistakenly (not knowing at the time) used the Cyanogenmod installer kit which gave me an error during install. Now my phone is stuck on that spinning CM loading screen. When I go to get into the bootloader (power + volume down) my phone restarts and goes to the bright HTC screen with the red writing on the bottom, then goes right back to the CM loading screen and not into the bootloader menu like I want.
I have not yet tried the trick of holding the phone near bright lights to try and get it into bootloader. The USB cable I think is fine as well and not a cause of anything.
Any suggestions please? I have searched through this forum a lot, but haven't found this exact problem yet.

Ok you dont need to worry abt this. You need to Press (Power + Volume Down) till your phone restarts and then just leave the power button but keep holding the volume down button and it will take you to the Fastboot Mode and from there you can go to recovery and flash another Compatible ROM or do RUU. Hope it helps:good:
Thank you! I will try this tonight.
Others have also said I need to do this under a bright light, too.
Hi guys, I recently tried to flash the new Sense 5.5 and Android 4.4 onto my HTC One. but now I can no longer access the recovery menu as well as the bootloader. When I try to (by pressing power and volume down), my phone goes boots normally but then I get several messages stating HTC sense is not responding. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT More info: Problem solved. I was not holding the power and volume down button long enough. Was able to restore my phone and install my rom after.
Hi
Please if someone can help me your most welcome to reply to me.
I unlocked the bootloader on my phone via htc dev and installed twrp recovery via fastboot. Every thing went perfectly well until I tried to get into the recovery mode in order to flash a custom rom. It displayed on the screen entering recovery but it got restarted and did not go into recovery. I flashed the recovery image again via fastboot and now it is stuck in a boot loop and I cannot use my phone as the dialler is not working and it is not picking up any mobile carrier. It starts up and rest you can see in the images(please send me your email so that I can mail you the pictures). I can't even turn it off and keep it turned off because when I long press the power button the home and the back button at the bottom keep blinking and the power menu does not show up. Please help very it will be very much appreciated.........................!!
