I just fixed the CWM 6.0.2.8 startup issue. It's just a minor change to the chargemon.sh script. I've repacked the original zip file. Just unzip it and run the install.bat again.
Requirements:
1. Your phone must be rooted
2. It works on 244 firmware. I'm not sure if this modded script works also in old 310 firmware.
Proper procedures to activate CWM recovery on boot:
1. Power on the phone
2. Wait until you see the Sony logo
3. Wait until you see the bottom LED turns green
4. Press either volume up or down once
5. If successful, the bottom LED should turn purple
6. CWM recovery should run in a matter of seconds
** If you're unable to enter recovery and the phone just reboot after pressing the volume button, then you probably need to apply the remount-reboot fix. After this fix is applied, then run the recovery install script again **
Thanks. Working fine.

Hey guys.. i think i have bricked my phone
I have the c6602 model and have a unlockable bootloader but left it locked. I have rooted it using goroh_kuns method
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2186368
then put CWM for locked bootloaders on it using this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2187363
then flashed this stock based kernel ROM through CWM without wiping the old one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2175903
but now my phone starts up, and reboots automatically, resulting in a loop. I can not go into the CWM recovery anymore because you have to do it through pc everytime while your phone is on.
Personally i think its Superuser from the previous rom and SuperSU from the new rom mixing up and resulting in the loop boot
Can somebody help please..?

Did you try to enter to CWM recovery by pressing volume key while booting to see if the recovery is working
yes it does not work, the led becomes blue after holding power + volume up it vibrates thrice x 2 then i continue volume up and the led turns blue but nothing really happens, i think its the download mode?

If you have the blue led working this means that it has the fastboot mod working - press VOLUME UP + PLUG INTO PC(not power)
try to switch off the device then press the VOLUME DOWN button while connecting to pc = flash mod
If you have one of theese working you can always repair your device
ive done the same thing and am stuck on sony screen i can get into flash mode or fast boot but have tried installing a stocck rom but it just says waiting files any help would be great

hi all,
i have an xperia z c6603 lcoked,
i successfuly installed cwm on it, after that i tried to install a custon rom on it,
i enter recovery, wipped data/cache and installed from zip the zip
it wrote installed successfuly, without poping up the aroma installer (maybe this is my first problem, maybe i broked the stock rom )
but now when i'm trying to turn on / enter recovery nothing happend, only a blinking red led even when i puted it on charge
how can i fix this problem
Hold volume up + power for 10 seconds, then release them. Now, hold volume up and plug it into a PC via USB. You could probably use Flashtool now to flash a FTF file of your region. That should fix it.
thanks for your answer,
i have the blue led but usb not detected as debugging mod, will this work ?
should i worry about the led blinking ? i was on flashing roms on my old S3 , sony is more complicated ...
thanks dude

Hi,
After updating to 4.2.2 I rooted my Xperia by ibtimes.co.uk/articles/484784/20130630/xperia-z-root-android422-jellybean-locked-bootloader.htm manual. And after successful rooting and installing some root apps I decided to install CWM recovery to backup my system. I installed the recovery following androidteen.com/sony-xperia-z-install-clockworkmod-cwm-recovery-with-locked-bootloader manual. Everything went nice and smooth and I entered the recovery mode (by pressing Vol Up while LED was green during booting) and made a backup (btw is that a nandroid backup?). The problem is that I can enter the recovery only once after "flashing" the phone with CWM. Any combination of volume keys, power key or LED will not let me enter it again later. Can anyone guide me how to enter to recovery mode anytime or fix this problem so I can use my backup if needed?
Thank you in advance!

Hey, i use to have this issue with the Z so i just installed this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261606 that should always let u into recovery, when the phone vibrates and the led goes green hold up. Yeah a backup is a nandroid backup. If you cant get that to work ill try help out further.
When exiting recovery did you answer the question with 'yes'? If so that's the problem. You have to answer no or have to flash a patch by doomlord.

There is no question when I exit recovery. The only option to exit recovery is reboot now (atleast I guess). What patch are you talking about? Could you provide me some link pls.
Well the dualboot is definitely last resort but I would rather fix this CWM issue :/
Yeah this happened to me also, you need to use the dual recovery instead

I don't see the point of a dual recovery. That recovery itself already contains CWM and add TWRP. What would I need 2 recoveries? There should be a way how to make CWM work somehow. Hmmm :/

Nobody seems to be maintaining the older releases of the recoveries for locked bootloaders. This is a known issue with them on 4.2.2 firmwares.
Just install the dual recovery and use only CWM recovery. You will literally notice no difference.

I've got the same problem.
so... I installed XZ Dual Recovery AND the zip file.... Flashed the Honami port (eXistenZ Ultra V1) and flashed the Dual recovery at the same time ( just as it says to do)
Now i can enter TWRP no problem, but when i push volume up it just sends the LED purple, and stays on the sony logo...
any one else having this problem???
Thanks so much for posting this, worked like a charm!

Yeah my LED never turns green, it seems to turn a purplish color after the Sony logo comes up.
This is so frustrating, is there a tool similar to odin that I can use to flash back to stock?

So you're telling me you didn't unlock your bootloader when you installed MIUI? Even when the guy who made it specifically told you to unlock it before using?
Well done.
Catching my breath, letting it go, turning my cheek for the sake of the show
So an attempt to fix it:
- Use flashtool to reflash a stock ROM
- Root it
- Backup TA partition (since you havent done this aswell)
- Unlock bootloader
- Install MIUI
