Use adb, sideload the Rom you wish to use from your computer to the phone.
Sent from my One using Tapatalk 4
Or just connect your phone to pc while in recovery
Do "adb push Rom.zip /sdcard" (Rom.zip will be ur Rom zip file)

I have scoured and can't find anything! Having a right mare here!!!! I had stock ROM, simply rooted it and then tried to flash a few other files here and there and clearly broke it. Now it wont boot. I cannot for the life of me work out how to fix this. Just want the stock odexed ROM back really or any ROM which means I can just receive OTA updates and plod along happily. I have downloaded stock ROM but can't seem to push via sideload. Can I run RUU from fastboot screen? What else can I do here? Any way to push a zip to my SD card so I can flash that way?
I knew I should have backed up before I flashed anything else. Was about to but then bloody didn't for some daft reason!! TOOL!!
Can anyone offer any help, thanks.
if you are using cwm recovery then you can mount the sd card from mounts and storage.

I'm going to assume the phone and computer didn't dematerialise leaving behind a vacuum, so do you have anything to report?

Randomly got here...and I LOLed a lil....
Are you sure the proper HTC/adb drivers are loaded so that your computer actually recognizes the device when trying to sideload the ROM?

Have you tried flashing cwm?? I have never tried TWRP, but have always been using CWM Recovery. You could try that and see if your able to adb push update.zip to sdcard or use sideload.
Use the HTCOne all in one tool to flash CWM and then under mounts and storage you can mount the phone as usb for PC, copy a new Rom accross and flash it

I think i had this problem earlier, i only made progress once i'd formatted the storage, then used CWM sideload
If you know you have some Rom on your phone downloaded look for that and install it through your recovery. If not you can format everything and see if you can sideload after that. I had this problem the other day and an old trickdroid Rom I found on my phone after digging through files saved my as$!

Hello everyone!
Today, I've rooted my T-Mobile HTC One using Hasoon's All-in-one tool kit. I had no problem rooting it, everything went smoothly.
After I've rooted my HTC One, (On stock ROM still) I downloaded and installed the Bulletproof kernel and that was when I noticed I couldn't take any pictures with the camera, I opened the gallery app, and it said to "please insert an sd card". I tried to switch ROMs that includes a stock kernel but I can not download or drag/drop any files into my internal storage anymore, however, I can download and install apps with no problem. How can I restore the internal storage to be usable again? I appreciate any advice/help. Thank you all.

You installed a 4.2.2 kernal with a 4.1 ROM. Either download a stock kernel or a 4.2 rom. Boot into twrp or cwm, whichever you use, and adb push the file and flash. If you flash the ROM it will flash a stock kernel with it, so you'll need to reflash your custom kernel.

Is ADB push the same as putting the zip file on the SD of the storage card? then flashing it through recovery?

Yes, if you can simply drag and drop the file when you're booted normally, that method is much simpler. If for whatever reason you can't boot into your ROM, or if your computer won't show your internal storage (in this case because the unsupported kernel isn't reading the internal memory, and being a mtp device and not mass storage, the computer can't see it), you will need to boot into your custom recovery and "adb push ROM.zip /sdcard/" or "fastboot flash boot boot.IMG".

First of all: Get rid of this ****ing CWM, if you have a Google Play Edition installed, this will ALWAYS **** up your system.. and you won't be able to gain root without reflashing the system, install TWRP...
Here this rom should work quite fine:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2224752 (thanks @mike1986. for providing such awesome ROMs)
Then you boot into your recovery and push the ROM you downloaded above to your device with the following command.. maybe ensure that you mounted /data in the recovery..
Code:
adb push "C:\FolderWhereRomIsStored\rom.zip" "/data/media/0/rom.zip"
And if this doesn't work properly, try this command to copy the whole folder:
Code:
adb push "C:\FolderWhereRomIsStored" "/data/media/0"
Now flash the zip and you should have a working OS.. but another advice: Before flashing, delete /data and the cache etc.. to be sure that the phone will boot correctly
I hope it helped.. if it didn't post your questions and if it worked fine, hit the thanksbutton

Thanks for the elaborate answer. I tried twrp recovery a while back but it didn't work i got stuck in recovery mode so used that 'put phone under bright light method' to restart it and only the manual cwm seemed to work. So now?
As soon as i solve the issue will hit the thanks button

You have to connect your phone by USB to your PC. Download hasoon2000 toolkit for HTC one.
Download Rom to your PC.
Boot in recoverey.
Click on install Rom by sideload (in recovery).
Click in HTC tool on sideload a rom (on PC).
Than wait till Rom is transferred to your phone.

Tried this method and when i select sideload rom in the toolkit and press run command prompt appears saying "'C:\Users\Acer' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
oh and sideload in phone recovery says "failed to open driver control:no such file in directory" then sideload started "now send the package you want to apply to the device with 'adb sideload <filename>"..
Help guys, im feeling super bored without my phone! Will never mess around with roms again.. :/

you can use adb push or adb sideload to transfer a new rom on your phone memory. Newer TWRP version like 2.8.6.0 also include MTP so you can access your phone storage from your computer when booted in twrp.
THANKS BROOOOO
This new TWRP saved my ass...
adb never worked fine in my pc.... now this new trwp made my pc recognize my m7
Thanks again..
