Well when you will use connectify then no need to have passwords.. as connectify will never give internet access to new devices

p/s: is you used to flash player on arm v6 device ? For me, it laggy on cm7 (only sound playing, image is stoping), and this is reason why i use stock, but stock cant use adhoc, and conectify is not support some video for flash player

does seem to have a linux version. CM9 supported ad-hoc, any other suggestions?
NO need for USB Cables anymore to transfer files From PC to ANDROID Devices and vice versa.
Had seen this Procedure on some tech site (Sorry but i dont remember the name) but couldn't follow it. Finally tried it myself and here is the procedure:
Requirements
ES FILE EXPLORER
Wi-Fi Hotspot (with or without internet)
Procedure
Connect Phone and Pc to the Same Wi-Fi network.
Open ES File Explorer > Press options > Side bar appears.
Choose TOOLS > REMOTE MANAGER > TURN ON
A link like 190.000.0.0:1234 is shown. Copy it somewhere.
Options > In side bar choose NETWORK > Select FTP.
Select "+NEW" from bottom bar > FTP
In "Port" Type the Link leaving the last 4 digits and colon. Like this "ftp://190.000.0.0"
In "Port" type the last 4 digits only > Check ANONYMOUS box > Ok
Open any Folder in your Desktop and type in the FULL LINK in the Address bar. Like this "ftp://190.000.0.0:1234"
Congrats, thefolder which appears is your Sd-Card.
Now you can Copy Paste whatever you want to your Sd-Card.
Note
You can also use another Android device as Hotspot
Internet connection is NOT needed
File transfer may take time depending on network speed
This procedure needs to be followed only once. Next time only switching on the REMOTE SETTINGS will do
Don't Say Thanx use the Button Below
Nice thread. Could be handy to people that have damaged their USB slot.

Yes i know its a bit longer. But u know i find ES file explorer very useful as it has many features. So decided to base my tutorial on that. Plus i havent tried it by any other app.

Hello I have the Verizon M8 and have been looking for an app that will automatically accept the Public Wi-Fi TOS and the only thing close I can find is the Connections Optimizer that Sprint uses, can anyone pull the APK and Associated Files so I can put them On my device.
Sent from my HTC6525LVW using XDA Free mobile app
Download the stock Sprint Rom, and use a file explorer (ES File Explorer is good) to view the contents, and extract the optimizer app from the system folder. This way, you don't have to extract the entire Rom to get the one file.
I don't think I have a Rom with it, but I will check for it.
ok I'll try that

Hello guys. Is there any app that downloads mp3 on PC and automatically sends it to android device ?
I use SnapTube to download YouTube videos as MP3 then I use Pushbullet to send the files wirelessly to my other devices.
