Hello i hope someone can help me i was able to see m.youtube.com videos with streaming media but yesterday my battery end and my phone shut down forced. Then after that ugly shutdown when i try to see any video on you tube appears buffering and all ok and begin to play but i see trash lines on the video, appearsthe video is playing i see images change and sound is ok but the video is with trash lines i tried to install this version of stream player again:
http://www.ramonshare.com/files/index.php?share=4&path=TOOLS/RvBCrS_HTC_Streaming_Media.cab
The link is not working but the same version working is here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/40153298/YouTube_Tools.rar
Now i see the version i was on streaming media was 2.2 now the version on the link at the top is 2.1 and does the same trashed lines on video. The thing about copy files dll i not made.
Any suggestion what can i do to remove that garbage on my videos? on myt HTC kaiser?
Thank you
I am using the latest ADS_Magpie Gingerbread ROM with my 32B G1. Installed the latest YouTube app from the market and I can only get sound from the clips. The video is blank/black. I tried YouTube back when my G1 was still using the official 1.6 ROM and had the same problem.
Is this a known problem for G1?
Turn off the HQ option. YouTube has upped the resolution on the HQ streams and they no longer play in the YouTube app on G1. Older videos should stick work however.
Thanks. I will try to see if that's the case.
Facebook video plays OK. BTW.
Hi. I Flashed my note a month back with the Checkrom v5 Rom, suddently my stock video player is unable to play MKV files and the MX video player can only play them in SW mode. I tried to reflash, and everything seemed fine at first but after a day I exprienced the same problem, now im thinkin maybe I must go back to stock Rom, its really annoying cuz i liked that ROM, any suggestions?
Yea I noticed this as well, didn't bother me too much to play it in SW on MX but I could never find a fix for it. I just moved to ICS and was done with it lol.
Try BS Player Light or Dice Player - both are capable of playing mkv containers HW accelerated, handling dual audio, embedded subtitles and play HD content.

what Rom are you on, and are you experience any other bug?
not many problems
Teamrocket v1.5 beta but it's not straight forward flash and it's tricky to go back to GB.I get an odd short freeze with skyfire browser but not with ics browser.
Has anyone got the 1080p option on YouTube to show? I have tried uninstalling updates and rebooting, but no luck. Thanks
I don't have the option either
Youtube app now supports 1080p playback.
It took them a little while to enable full HD for this tablet but it is officially working now. The 1080p option is showing for me after updating the firmware and YouTube app.
Is there any ROM out right now with video recording/playback working that isn't stock? I despise the stock skin lol.
Skeuomorphism at its worst.
Also, I can't play back any videos above 360p or the video player crashes for any app across the system whether it be the stock browser app or the official Google YouTube app from the play store.
