[Q] notification led on xperia v - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Hi All,
My notification led ( lt25i stock 140) works only when charging.
Is there any way to use it to notify missed calls, sms or emails?

There is a post about this few months ago but I think I just paste it here since I got copy it down:
You need:
- backup!
- root
- root explorer
- hex editor
Pull /system/lib/libssmc.so with some root explorer from your rom, open it in hex editor, find this text "-notifications" and change it to "+notifications". Save. Push it back to your rom. Fix permissions (rw-r--r--). Fix owner (root, root). Reboot.

This is the only thing you need to do.

Thanks, I'll try

Ok Done,
But I get a very strange behaviour, when a message or everything else is coming, the led light on only once. I expect for led blinking every n seconds until the notification is deleted.
Any suggestions?
Stamina is currently off , with stamina on the led doesn't work.

[Q] App to blink screen/touch keys on a SMS/MMS ?

Hi All!
Anybody have/know of an application which will show a notification by blinking the capacitive keys (or screen) to notify me of a missed call, missed message, missed email?
(It is very frustrating because the screen is off most of the time and I'm not the person to tap it every minute to see if there are new messages )
Something like Cute SMS blinker (market.android.com/details?id=com.blackelk.smsblinker)or Missed message flasher (market.android.com/details?id=com.tomatox.missedmessageflasher)?
I'm Using Samsung captivate with Talon 0.4.1/Serendipity VII build 2/I9000 GB bootloaders/JJJV5.
Tried two apps, but both of them say it's not compatible with my phone.
Thank you in Advance.
Try BLN on the market.

[Q] Dim/disable capacative backlights

I want to turn off the capacitive button backlights, for when i'm using my phone at night, but I also don't want a background app running and killing my battery.
I've tried searching around, and the closest I've come is editing the file under
sys/devices/platform/leds-pm8058/leds/button-backlight ;
and changing brightness and currents to 0.
This works as a temporary measure only, however, as soon as I reboot my phone, it goes back to the brightness of a thousand suns.
Help?

Actually, just modifying the file seems to work fine, as long as I don't reset my phone, which I don't do too much anyway.

There's an app called "total screen control" that can dim and turn off the softkeys backlight. It's not free but you can search google for it.

[Q] Notification LED

HI!
Is there any way way to get notification LED's flashing when receiving a SMS, missed call, etc?
I just cant find any setting for that...
Maybe some app?
(BTW: Running stock ROM)
Try Light Manager, works great for me!

I use "LG Touch LED Notifications"
It uses the soft-buttons below the Display, because the 4X HD doesn't have a notification LED
Works very well for me
I'm using this app

[HELP] SystemUI stop working loop!

Hello,
I have this very annoying bug on my phone: at each boot the SystemUI falls into a loop of crashes, sometime if I'm lucky it doesn't do it.
Can someone help me?
I can't understand what it depends to

Have you tried a clean install!?
Yes I did, the problem appears indeed after I restore all my apks and settings.
I guess to have found a solution rebooting my phone with airplane mode on. Anyway I provided a logcat and a bugreport and it seems to be an error with some java index.

Yeah, you're right (I think). It happens to me once, when I flash PAC & restore all apps from CM with titanium backup. So try it without restoring apps or restore only apps, not the app+data (restoring data probably causes the force closes).
That's the way I do. I always restore only apps without data and I did it right two days ago. I use PAC 4.3 and Titanium as well.

This bug happens either on boot or whenever I change hybrid settings, set the appbar, active display is on or rarely when I plug it to the charger.

Well, it's weird! My guess is, try without the PA hybrid settings (maybe because you change the dpi of apps or stuff like that). Good luck
