How to re-sense my phone? - HTC Desire C

I used Titanium Backup to delete HTC Sense from my phone, because I read in multiple places that it just slows the phone down if you have a costum launcher installed. Problem is: I remember thinking about doing it, but I am not even really sure I did it. I only know that when pressing home, it doesn't give me the choice to enter in it. How to tell if I removed it? And if I did, is it possible to restore it somehow e.g. factory reset, without a backup?

The way you can check if it's deleted is either go to titanium backup and search for the app, or go into the apps menu and search for the app again.
You can get it back by either Reflashing the rom or having a backup. Or go to the rom root dir system/apps and search for it there.
I've been using CM10 so I don't remember the exact app name, but it shouldn't be hard to figure out :3

Just as I thought, it's gone.
Will it give me problems if I later decide to flash a sense-based rom?

No

In case you want it back, just extract it from any of the sense based roms around here. Or if you don't wanna download a whole rom, tell me. I'll upload the rosie for you

There should be a quite simple way. Install cm10, backup the app with titanium backup or another backup app, restore your aokp build and install it.

Thnaks, I beleve this could have worked too, I found the problem now though..
for anybody that cares:
There are two issues that can cause this problem:
1. First of all, if you have an equalizer preinstalled, you need to uninstall that one.
2. You need to change the permissions of the Apk file in your system folder to rw-r--r--
This way it worked for me....

Changing the Kernel shouldn't do what you have mentioned.
1. Go to settings.
2. Scroll down until you hit about device.
3. Scroll to bottom again and check the last one.
Edit: And yes you can have a Custom ROM without changing the kernel, it should say what kernel it has in the description of the ROM.

I'm pretty sure you'll have to copy the browser.apk file to your system/app folder and then reboot your device. You'll need to be rooted to do so

Require stock launcher files/screen softkeys

Hi guys,
I flashed the new Nexus 5 launcher and it replaced the Z1's softkeys with the 5's. I don't like these keys and want the Z1's. Can someone provide me with the required files.
Thanks

You make backups with recovery. You can also make a backup of the xperia home apk with titanium backup that you can restore,
I can provide you with the file when I get time.
Just remember that in future it is always good practice to backup things up before you flash anything or replace system apps. that way when things go wrong (Or if you don't like the result) then you can easily go back without having to ask for someone to provide you with the files that you once had on your phone.

Hey I saw the zip with the files but how am I supposed to flash them? This isn't a CWM zip..I only need to flash the system UI... Launcher is ok
You throw them in system/apps and overwrite.
Restart and then it should be back to normal.

Edit this idea was a massive fail.. I had to factory reset ater backing up my data and reflash the ROM... It seems the smaller softkeys are due to the ROM. What can I do to have the stock softkeys? How do I flash those @gregbradley?
Thanks

seeing as you never mentioned which rom you were on I presumed you wanted the stock systemUI.apk.
If you want something different then extract it from your rom download and put it in system/app using root explorer and change the permissions so they are the same as other apps.
HINT
put it in system
long press on it and choose change permissions
change them to this

[*][-][-]
[*][-][-]
then move it to system/app
reboot
