Hi all first ever post to a forum but wanted to share this product I got from Argos.co.uk
Product code 9105511
After trying 3 keyboards from from Amazon all cheaper variants and not one of them working correctly I found this on sale at my local Argos, tried it in the car and it connected first time and all worked first time. Using 4.3 kernel version 3.1.10 g1e8b3d8. I had trouble either connecting , of the other keyboards pairing but not showing up as keyboards.
Sure you could most probably pick the keyboard up online cheaper but Argos are so easy to return to if it didn't work. Unlike my other 3 keyboards that did not work.
Hope this helps some body.

They don't let newbies post links initially so here is the product the OP is talking about.

Hi guys
I recently needed a Keyboard for University, to use with my Nexus 7 to take. Notes. I was looking around for a keyboard that offered portability and function and came across this Bluetooth Keyboard from Amazon.
This is a great keyboard, it is bigger than those Keyboard cases/covers for the Nexus 7, for me it would have been to hard to type on them anyway. It also is very thin at only 6.5mm and its biggest part is 9mm thin, so this product is very portable. The reason behind it being so thin is that it uses a Li-ion rechargeable battery, which charges through a Micro-USB port on the back of the keyboard and take about 2 hours to change fully. Battery life is great lasting about 10 hours of usage. Lastly it was very easy to pair with my Nexus 7 simply press the button on the keyboard and enter the code shown on the N7 onto the keyboard and its done.
The keyboard come in US and UK variants and is priced at £22.99 on Amazon (link below). It also comes with a travel bag.

Here's the US Link if anyone's interested: http://www.amazon.com/Perixx-PERIBO...12266&sr=8-1&keywords=perixx+keyboard+android
I have this keyboard as well, and it works absolutely wonders. Though it does not have Android specific keys, you can duplicate Android buttons using FN-F5 for Home, Alt-Tab for Task window, Fn-F8 for Search (from home page). You can also control volume with Fn and F2, F3, F4. There are a lot of other shortcuts you can use, just google for Android Keyboard shortcuts
Cannot remember where I got mine from but it was only 17GBP with shipping

Hi!
I was thinking of buying this keyboard. Did you encounter any problems similar to http://floor4.co.uk/2012/08/07/nexus-7-bluetooth-keyboard-and-uk-layout/ ?
I still don't know the difference between the US and UK layout, but will probably get the UK one.
edit: amazon link

I did some searching to find touch profiles for the Sixaxis Controller and came up practically dry for the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. I decided this would be a good forum to share profiles. I will be uploading my profile for Six Guns and I'm hoping to get ones for NOVA 3, Modern Combat 3 and Gangster Rio in the next little bit.

i did my own for mc3 and nova 3, but i had a hard time making one for ganstar rio because of the parts where you have to drive then get out and do things. but good luck with it. and if you end up making good touch profiles then hopefully you get stickied.
I don't understand why there aren't many profiles available for the Galaxy 10.1
I have been looking for months and always come across the same threads, with one or two profiles posted
Are there any other profiles available?
You can't find any because they are so easy to make. It's really not hard to do.

I know it is not hard to do, but it is a lot easier to upload a file to dropbox and share with people.
They are quite time consuming to make, if everyone shared, it wouldnt be as bad.....
Your logic isnt very good, if they are so easy to make, there would be more. Some people do not have a lot of free time (family, work). They rely on the generousity of others to help them out.

Lol takes 5 min to make one. You can make 2 while on the crapper. People just like to be spoon fed everything. I work and have a family and I still found time to make my own.

I went into my local CPW yesterday to ask about the availability of the N4 this week, the girl I spoke to looked it up (big screen flashing up warning NOT to give customers any info and to keep stock in the back etc)
I asked if she could look up the price for SIM fee and she tried another approach, searching on the system for lg nexus 4, a simple screen popped up with the price for 2 nexus 4's.... now, unless my eyes deceived me, I saw one for "nexus 4" and one for "nexus 4 White" (both said £389.99 or similar)
Obviously as I wasn't looking for that info it didn't really sink in until a moment or two later so by that time the screen had been closed etc.... just wondering if anyone had seen anything similar? I don't want to cause any undue excitement, pant wetting etc but surely it's not beyond the realms of possibility? I had a quick search but couldn't see any mention of it...
Anybody? Maybe the o2 exclusivity thing has the white one as part of it?
I hate white phones so not interested, but one of you lot might be into it!
We will find out tomorrow I suppose, but you heard it here first eh!
(....probably been old news for a while or complete rubbish so slinks off to cry....)

Yeah there was a picture on Twitter a while back showing a CPW display that had both black and white options on it.

Ah, it's right enough then... I thought for a second I'd imagined it. I read that article too, must have been before the update with the white option.
Sorry for the pointless post then!
Cheers

Strange we haven't heard anything official from either Google or LG about it... Wonder how it looks, as my Gnex is the white version.

So, will you be holding out for the second batch from the Play store or purchasing from somewhere else?
I've called Google a couple of times and been given no definite answer very vague in fact. 'Check online'
I've phoned and called into CarPhoneWarehouse local to me, 'N4, don't know, no idea'
Where else have you tried?
Dates for availability?
Prices?
I'm waiting oin mine to be dispacthed but I do believe Google are starting to say 2 weeks a lot more consistently in their emails. Not the greatest of info but I hope it's a start.. :good:
Well I didn't get one so I'm holding for the next Batch.
Went to my local CPW this morning they did have them in stock but they for contact only.
I did get to play around with one. I must say its a big stop up from the plastic galaxy nexus

I just through to a different CPW, one that actually had it in stock and new what it was.
He went away tp check and said they're not currently selling it SIM free and doesn't know if they will be, hasn't been communicated to them.

They will be selling it SIM-free, but they're not sure when. They're waiting for the green light from HQ and they're waiting for more stock to come in. Because they're not sure when they're selling they are also unsure of pricing. I have been told £349.99 directly but there are rumours it's going to be £389.99, as you can see from the graph above.

So my order for the Motoshare projector got goofed up. The had a completely wrong address. I called Motorola, and they fixed it. However I received two emails for my rebate. Sure enough, I have two of the Motoshare projectors! Thanks Motorola!

How you liking the projector? I've tried finding a local store to check it out. But no one has one that works or is charged. And I had gotten denied for my first promo request. I called them and they fixed it, I just got the shipped email. Also do you know if it's the same model # as the retail one or is it like a cheapened version of it?

I was going to buy a small tv for my room. Ended up trying the projector and it is good enough to the point I am not buying the tv. I generally watch an hour of Hulu or Netflix before bed. So it works out.

Nice, good to know. I'm getting mine on Monday according to Fedex. I'm planning on using it for date nights with the GF and friends.
That should work nicely then. Hopefully the lamp life is pretty long.
Maybe easy to change the bulb? I never bothered to see if it could be taken apart. Give me a sec and I'll check
