[Q] D4 only boots into fastboot and stock recovery - Motorola Droid 4

My friend dropped his phone into some water and ripped the battery out, severing the battery wire. I have a factory recovery cable so I can boot it into fastboot and recovery mode, but booting normally gets the phone stuck at the red eye screen. I've tried reflashing the stock ROM via Fastboot, but it still won't boot. All we need are some pictures off the sdcard, is there any way they can be pulled off? I can't connect to ADB in any case. On my Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S I would be able to flash Clockworkmod via fastboot and pull files off it that way, is there any similar function for this phone? Thanks.

[Q]Help stuck in a loop

hi i tried to flash CM7 and well now im stuck in a loop going through att screen galaxy s with cyanogen 7 under it then looks like it is updating a package and then just starts over at the att screen cant seem to get it into download
edit: just got it into CWM but dont know what to do now
edit2: now there is a little phone with a triangle and a computer on the other side of it
edit3: phone does not come up in adb i think
never mind flashed with odin
How did you manage to get into CWM? I am having the same problem.
If you can get it to connect with adb, and it should as long as the cyanogen boot screen or whatever boot ani is used. It will be very brief but you may have a moment to put it in recovery via adb, this is saying that the three button method does not work, you could always put it into download mode and flash from scratch

[Q] Stuck on White HTC Screen, Can't Boot Into Recovery

Hey guys, got a problem with my M7.
My phone was working fine. Was getting ready to flash a new rom. I moved the .zip into my root folder.
Went to reboot my phone into recovery to flash it, but it gets stuck on the white HTC screen. Powered off, booted into bootloader. Tried to enter recovery through bootloader, but I still get stuck on the white HTC screen.
Any ideas?
edit: and now, the phone won't boot at all ...

Well I'm pretty sure just copying a rom to the phone didn't do anything to it. what else happened between then and now
Nothing at all. Here's basically what I did.
1. Backed up phone in recovery.
2. Reboot.
3. Loaded rom to /root using computer.
4. Attempt to boot in recovery ..
And that's it.

is the battery dead ?
does the pc load any drivers when you plug it in ?
does the charging lights work ?
Nope, charging lights do not work ... It wasn't a full battery, but was around 70% last I remember.
Ok, was able to boot using the bright light method.
Still no dice on booting past the white HTC screen. When I try to boot to TWRP through the bootloader, it'll show the TWRP splash screen, then automatically go back to the white HTC screen.

Reflash recovery and erase cache
you may have to format data in TWRP and totally wipe the phone.
also flashing stock recovery and doing a factory reset from stock will rebuild the partitions and sometimes make the phone stable again

Boot-loop while charging, reboots when not. Fastboot OK

Hey guys, so I have a weird issue. One day I left my urbane charging and the next day I found it stuck on the LG logo. Here are the details:
-If I leave it connected to the original cradle, usb and charger, the urbane will go into a reboot loop. It will not pass from the LG logo.
-Taking it out from the cradle will start doing the same behaviour until it runs out of battery.
-If i connect the urbane to a computer, the loop will stop and boot into the OS fine. But once it gets disconnected from the cradle it will go into the reboot loop again.
-If boot into fastboot or recovery the urbane will stay on until the battery dies.
I already tried to flash it via adb sideload xxxx.zip and via fastboot (back to android 6.0) with no luck..
any other ideas guys?
I am facing the exact same issue and I have no idea why, tried flashing, nothing helped.
Battery dead. Not enough capacity to ensure a complete boot.
Fastboot or recovery is only a boot minimal system (like command line) so lighter than a normal OS charge.
@dersie, thank you so much! It's just meant I resurrected my Engagement watch!
Having the same issue. Is it worth to get the new battery for 20 usd?
I jus replaced my bartery (from aliexpress) and watch is working !! Didn't boot at all even on charger. Was all the time rebooting... Battery replace fixed problem

Tab A 10.1 2019 bootloop won't shut off

I tried installing a custom ROM and rooting my Tab A 10.1 2019 and now it is stuck in a bootloop and will not turn off. What happens:
1. I get the Galaxy Tab A screen
2. Get a message about boot loader unlocked
3. Tablet starts showing the Samsung logo loading screen
4. Tablet restarts
I can't get it to break this loop, it won't even turn off., just keeps looping. Any advice?
When you see the boot-up logo quickly use adb to reboot into recovery and re-flash
Hi. How did manage the problem.? I have mine at the same behavior. Cable was dettached while flashing with Odin.
Can you still boot-up at all? i.e. does any boot screen show up? If the screen turns on make sure its plugged in and then use ADB reboot recovery to get back into recovery if it hasn't been overwritten. From there you can mount storage if its TWRP and push files to your device for the ROM, and then flash from recovery. Also you could try to find an app that can fully restore your device to factory, I know there are apps that can do that. Good luck bro. Try drfone?

Not able to boot into recovery

I was trying to flash a new rom couple days ago and I feel I did a mistake somewhere which led to an issue and I can't manually boot into recovery (I have tried reflashing recovery) when ever I try to boot into recovery or rom does it for Android updates it gets stuck in fastboot from here I can't turn on the phone, when ever I try to turn it on, it boots back into fastboot, the only way for me to actually get back into my device is by using a pc with fastboot boot recovery.img. It usually updates the rom and I can get back to my device from here. I've tried a couple of things but I'm not able to go to recovery without my pc. Suggest me some fixes that could possibly fix the phone
Thanks in advance
