Hello ,
After passing a lot of time trying firmwares and Roms, I got the question to understand why I cannot have 3g with this phone, 5570i writen inside.
Offered by family coming to rep dominican from states, I don t know really where it come from.
Is the 5570i a european o american model ?
does it support the american, dominican o mexican 3g ?
I would be more than happy with a response to one of these question.
In this best best option, is there firmware for theses places, because I tried with russia, poland, indonesia, and vietnam, and never the 3g was
working.
please, I know, but I never could find a firmware for american o carabeen continents.
Really thanks if someone can help me.
Nice day
S5570i supports 3G. Maybe 3G signal doesn't cover your area.
thanks for nothing

I meant for what continent is it made?
It seems that the 2 bands used for 3G in Europe are not the same that the 2 bands used inAmerica.
I read something like 800/1900 for america and 900/2100 for europe.
And the phone I think got only one of this two possibilities.
So perhaps it is the reason why 3G is not working in Mexico.
But I don t know for sure

Here is the application from the FCC Website:
https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas...e=N&application_id=977164&fcc_id='A3LSHVE160S
This is the Korean unit that will be compatible with T Mobile I am still not convinced that we could not get 3g on the ones already out there. Again, this will be a snapdragon chip configuration like the SGS2 for TMO
I guess I have no choice but to hold off and get the Korean one even though my impatience is driving me crazy and wants to buy it now. I also saw that somebody posted the radio frequencies of the Netherlands one and it had all the bands but all I have is his picture to confirm it with no actual proof that I could find on the net.

I don't want it for the LTE I want it because i'm on tmobile and the korean one supposedly has the same chip as tmobiles sgs2 so I'd have a better chance getting 3g speeds on tmobile with the korean one.
The Korea model will be the first with NFC right? Or is the india model nfc enabled?
Hope this launches soon. I really need a NFC enabled Note ASAP.
So far I just see Korea

1. FCC is USA only governing body for all wireless and wired communications - it has nothing to do with Korea, or any other country. Devices, which are designed for other countries than US do not get submitted to FCC.
2. I have reviewed all RF Exposure docs in that FCC listing like 2 weeks before you posted the link and I assure you there is no LTE radio on board and no LTE frequencies have been tested. Since it's officially confirmed by Samsung ST Telecom's Galaxy Note version will have LTE radio - even if we overlook the mere fact that FCC submission suggests this device is meant for US and not any other country - this device can't possibly be the korean version, since it doesnt have LTE radio.
3. According to the documentation this device doesnt even have 3G radio. It only has GSM, GPRS, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth.

how does SK cellphone prices compare to U.S. and Europe ones?
and is it easy to find such phones on physical stores?
I ask because, tough I live in Brazil, my uncle works in SK, but he flies a lot and wouldn't be able to order and wait for a delivery.
baaj said:

Its supposed to have the same processor as Tmobiles SGS2 and from what I've heard the main reason they went with that processor is because it supports their HSPA+ 42 network the exynos processors don't

Europe uses bands 3/7/20 (1800/2600/800) and apparently the main LTE band in Brazil is 7, so best would be the European version, but the AT&T version that is sold in Brazil should work inside most cities in Europe, as band 7 is usually used for urban areas..

It won't be. As u know Australia is getting the SnapDragon version, so has to be later..... Unless u wanna buy the Exynos version, u can pop up to Kogan or Yatango like i did

Singapore version is a bit hard to find no matter on ebay or even Kogan is selling 910U which is the most common and supportive model.
From what I've read from Samsung official website, 910U does support 700mhz. But if u wanna get the Snapdragon version, wait for couple week more for Aussie version coz they gonna bring us the Snapdragon to Australia.

The 910U which is in hong Kong also supports 700mhz and lte-A CAT6. Find the thread in general note4. This is the exact same model you get in new Zealand. In Australia we get the 910G. There are two differences between the U and the G. One is the U runs exynos G runs SD805. And U does not have B40 2300mhz TDD(optus LTE which not many devices use yet. So you don't really need it.)

Mine goes ok at this stage juz not very well with my wifi at home... But, never has any heat issue and always stays cool unless i use it when it's charging (still not very hot at all). LTE frequencies u can check from other posts since there had quite a few related (lazy to quote coz im in bed already ). But, pretty sure it does support all LTE frequencies in Australia, especially 700mhz for next year as well. You can also check that from Samsung official site from Hong Kong.

What LTE bands does your carrier use? Have you tried contacting your carrier to make sure LTE is enabled for that phone? When I switch to my Sony I have to get with my carrier to enable LTE on that phone.

HI everybody,
I am french but I currently live in USA. I would love buy the one plus 3t but I am not sure if it will work and I will go back to France. I am very confuse about the bands....
Thank you for you help !!
It will "work" though you will likely be unable to access LTE from most carriers in Europe. Essentially, you'll have a fully functional phone with crippled mobile data (reduced coverage, slower speeds, no VoLTE, etc.).
it must be unlocked, then yes will work
Unlocked phone will work any where in the world.
Took my oneplus 3t to India from America. Used my American sim card and got an Indian sim card as well. Both worked flawlessly, LTE included for Indian sim card. Phone is unlocked will work all over the world.
thank you for your answer, In the one plus' website is impossible to choose the europe version... Do you know where I can find it ?
because i am still confuse couse in this website willmyphonework.net they told me that in 4G LTE network "it may work" :crying:
because i am still confuse conse in this website willmyphonework.net they told me that in 4G LTE network "it may work" :crying:
The US model only supports LTE bands 1/2/4/5/7/8/12/17/30; Its not a true world phone. You'll get voice, text, and 3G data. Now for LTE, band 7 is the only band that some European carriers use so that may work if you are connected via band 7 and is available in that area.
I don't know why Oneplus didn't just include the European models LTE
Thank you for your answer. I m gonna think about if I buy it or not :/
Yeah it is not very commercial to send just the american version...
