I stripped of DSP-Manager becuase i don't use it.
You can get it back by flashing the zip i will post here in an hour or so.
You need to use the zip because i also stripped the libs and the conf DSP-Manager uses out of my build.

There are 2 ways to do that
1: there is an app for that for example rom toolbox lite
2: unzip the zip
open de system folder
open de build.prop file in your favourite text editor
change the ro.sf.lcd_density=213 in 320

My builds use the same kernel as utacka and preview 4., the new one (Note kernel changed after preview 3)
SO the answer would be no
Wait for new kernel..
Why u remove the browser and add chrome?
Isnt the 4.1 default browser is chrome? I saw it in jelly bean changelog

For so far as i know (Haven't checked lately BTW)
Normal browser is chromium based but has a sligthly different UI.
But if i'm wrong just ignore that statement
Thank you very much for your builds.
It's really convenient.
For those who are looking for USB Mass Storage (useful when you want to flash newest builds) :
Code:
su
setprop persist.sys.usb.config mass_storage
reboot
Thanks for posting these builds mnm1992!
Maybe you can answer a question I have, regarding an issue discussed in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716804
Do you know what makes the media sound volume in your unofficial 08/28 build much louder than in the latest 08/31? Can this be restored? And maybe implemented in other roms?
Thanks!

The difference in those builds are updates from the cm10 team in the audio drivers and middleware.
I don't know if it can be restored.
By request, I ported this project to the vs980, d800, d801, d802, d803 and ls980. I don't own a G2 (maybe soon!) so let me know how it works.
Stripped down AOKP 4.4.2 base, trying to make it as lightweight as possible. ~ 159 Mb zip
The goal is to provide an efficeint, minimal groundwork for users to customize the way they like it.
Amazing battery life.
Base install has only ten apps in the drawer! (see Screenshots section above)
- Rooted
- ROM Control
- Working ART
- Removed -
.. Google Analytics via noAnalytics Remix
.. Stock Apps (Gallery, Browser, see Changelog below for complete list)
.. Live Wallpapers
.. Bootanimations
.. Stock ringtones/alarms/notifications

- AOKP kernel
Other optimizations coming!
bareBones download link hosted by XDA Dev-DB (at the top of the thread)
Minimal GAPPS
Current recommendation is Paranoid Android GAPPs package.
BaNKS minimal GAPPs started causing FCs and other issues, so until that's resolved try PA.
Installation Instructions
Make sure you are on the latest CWM/TeamWin Recovery!
1) Nandroid Backup
2) Wipe Data & Cache/Factory Reset (if you experience issues, it's probably due to a dirty flash over an old version)
3) Flash ROM
4) Flash GAPPS (optional)
5) Reboot
6) Enjoy!

can someone tell me if this is based of r1 or r2? I prefer roms based on r2, they are always more stable and fluent to me. less to zero SoDs. reboots and freezes...I wil likely give this a shot regardless but r2 is a preference that will make me not think twice
Got it. I wasn't switching to Web view. Thanks fellas

For the rest of us smart guys.... Me included.
Click the downloads tab above the OP.
Its amazing that I've never seen anyone use that and I've been downloading since the original g1.
Thanks giving this a run!
Edit... This is on the mobile web.
For us "other" dumb people, give US a break and not be so rude. I wrote that at 4.30a. Some people have probably been here longer then you and understand things that you may not. Be wise with your words next time Mikkey81.

I have had it running for a couple of hours and I am happy. Thanks, I love a rom when it is stripped down bare, I removed a few others things just to find out how stripped this can get before it starts to falter. Once again, thanks.
So let's hope this is the last post on the subject...
If you are using the app, you must select web view from the options in order to get the download. The download link is not part of the first post... It's in another tab on the top of the thread. It's little used functionality that always confuses people but is actually pretty neat.
I read through the comments and no one was trying to pick on anyone it's just easy to misunderstand when you are just reading. The 'smart' comment was actually self-effacing humor.

Some hints:
1. Be sure you are on latest CWM or TWRP recovery!!!!!!
2. Not all gapps packages right now are nice working. You can try others but at least I know that the one linked here is working. If you have other gapps which are working you can link it here of course
3. Full wipe when coming from any 4.4 rom (as well format system manually please)

Reporting Bugs
When you submit a bug you want to make sure that nothing from your side is causing it. Otherwise your developer might be hunting a bug which doesn't really exist.
The best way to achieve this is by doing the following.
1. Make a nandroid backup.
2. Perform a full wipe (factory reset + wipe /system)
Now we have two different ways depending on what kind of problem you're having.
3a. When you're having a problem with a ROM function, flash just the ROM without GAPPS etc. and boot back into the system. You will boot directly onto the homescreen.
3b. When you're having a problem with a 3rd party app in combination with our ROM then flash the ROM and GAPPS.
Boot now back into the system. You will boot to the setup wizard.
Log in to your Google account but make sure that you untick "Restore from my Google Account to this phone/tablet".
Finish the setup and open the playstore and download only the app you're having problems with.
4. Start a logcat recording and reproduce the bug (if possible more than once) while taking the logcat. If you don't know how to get a logcat read this tutorial or this.
5. Post the logcat in a txt file (this is important because you otherwise clog up the threads with your log) in the correct thread.
Please also write detailed description how we can reproduce the bug.
6. Restore your backup from point 1 and wait for a fix (don't ask for ETAs).

F'ing awesome to see the slimrom for z2.

That's why I always have an active backup just in case I really need to use my phone instead of "trying things" on it.

Im sure i missed some bloat.. the deodex build is under 800mb in size

Hi everyone I have created with the help of @JT1510365 a fully debloated stock 4.4.2 rom. It has the bare minimum on the system ( less than a page of apps) feel free to add suggestions on which apps to include wit the ROM.
Now you can also get a complete ROM.

Its a good ROM, very very bare minimum.
From my experience, if you try to enter a name on first boot-up it fails, but leave it blank and it works.
But that boot animation; would you kindly offer a way to change it please?
For all those not in the know - its a sequence from The Terminator.

Yeah it's not the best boot animation and I actually forgot to change it. All you need is a boot animation changer from play store, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.liberty.toolbox
Then scroll to the right and select boot animation, chose which you like and select install. Then follow the onscreen instructions and to check it worked click the tablets menu button and select "preview current"

Well I feel I'm going to have this tablet a long time so anything I can do to improve it I will. I'm still working on the cm11 ROM but its a good while off yet, and please any issues just let me know. ( boot animation will be changed to something more standard).
