[OB]Why OB has lousy support

Now, i want tell you that why OB got bad support.
Eg. SGS.
Has same Cortex-A8 same specs....etc.
But why is it with good support??
It uses Exynos.... which is by Samsung.
So everything is made Samsung.
LG OB.
Why bad??
Cause 2 companies make 1 thing.
TI OMAP 3630 + LG....
So, it is tougher. Cannot synchronise what they do.
If LG combines(means they also make ARM processors), then OB will be success, cause OB will be pure LG. But what we using now is both combine.

GT S5830i has the BCM2835-soc right ? They released the source for that.

Because Ace-i, Young, Pocket, all together is not a joke, much more likely to listen us than if we do small and separate petitions or keep waiting idly.

I know we've tried, but I see a petition from SGA-i, another from SGY, another more from htcmania forum SGMini-i and other different from htcmania too from SGA-i, another one from 4PDA forum..... you know what I mean? A single massive petition, I'm just a noob who nobody will listen, but for example BroadcomCM team have the voice to do it and everybody (from all phones) will listen, and thats my point, a common petition, because like this will never get anything because we are nobody, but this is just my opinion.

:good: thinking man i also thought for this but since we (noob) are like nobody in this forum i didn't like post about it ... BROADCOMCM has the power now lets request them ... lets try once more ...

dude its not like noobs are just idiots around the forum and others dont listen to them but its the experience of older members about whats possible or not that makes them different from you.....
And about the petition,you have to understand that neither samsung nor broadcom is interested in our device....you think that people have not tried so broadcom doesnt know about our problem but the reality is hundereds and even more have tried and knocked each and every door possible be it floodind them with emails,petitions,complaints,etc,etc but nothing....simply nothing......they know about our problems but still NOTHING..
If they ever wanted to help us then it would had been done long long time ago....
And if you cant bear these facts then least you could do is buy a second hand original ace by selling your ace i.....it will cost you even less then what you will sell your ace i for.....

What happend with gamerzrom thread?

So this is the reason for shuting down gamerzrom:

Using other's work without permission is against forum rules.
But it was a great rom, and should have been even better with the next release, and now with just one sentence all is gone. I would like to believe there is more to this than burakgon stoled someone`s work and used it without permission. I mean they are all devs, and i think sharing among each other is the only way to achive something greater. So why not try talking it out, maybe it was an missunderstanding, then if you are still upset, unleash moderators wrath on him.

Yes my friend. I stoled camera.png which is very special work of some very special dev.... I can't get it. Someone collected some png files from samsung rom dumps and published them as their special work. Now they reporting me. Even apple is more fair about laws. Whatever. I don't care about themes. GamerzROM 4.0 UNSTOPPABLE is soon!

I didn't steal amy apk or real dev product. Only used a few png files from samsung roms and some interesting people claimed rights on it. Thanks everyone. That's not problem I will start a new thread after new build completed.

Have you contacted him? I think there is no point in contacting him.... We have to wait for the release of Kitkat...! Thats all....

Actually we have many ways to contact them and we have tried also.But if they are not interested in releasing drivers then we can't do anything. We are helpless.

I'm wating for courier ... i bought ACE2 and SGS2 at the same time so ... i'm waiting for SGS2 too :fingers-crossed:. You know ... Ace2 for daily use but sgs2 for music, games, internet etc. . But still have this poor Ace"i" like "reserve phone" xD. Am I crazy? :silly:.

I'm in the same boat as you Alucard1989pl!
My cousin sold me his SGS2 which I'm using now and I've got my Ace i as a backup just incase. I actually feel sorry for my old device sitting there lifeless lol but I don't want to get rid of it just yet..

+1 I also have attached to this device for its my 1st smart phone and I choose device among htc explorer,wildfire and sony xperia ray all above have cm official support sometimes I regret buying this.... alas I wish it was s5830

+1 I feel the same besides I wouldn't like to let go of it even if I had a new device... It has gone through so many ROMs xD all the efforts of many of our devs is in it
In fact, when I get a new device, it's microSD will be left there, it'd be a waste actually but, even though it's a 16GB one, by the time I get a new device, I will for sure get me a 32GB one xD after all, If I had the cash to buy a new device, I'll surely have the cash for a new memory
But for the time being I'm sticking to the Ace, I've too much money to save, for I'll have to spend most of it once our baby is born
Finally, I'd love to see Kit Kat on our Ace, I'm not losing hope :fingers-crossed:
