At the moment I have nexus experience rom v10.0.3
My question is, can I have 6.0 stock rom?
My device is XT1092
Yes, restore to 5.1 factory image completely (system, recovery, boot, bootloader, partition, modem) and then OTA update to 6.0.

[TIP]For those who wants to enjoy CATACLYSM MOD on MMB29Q build

i just flashed factory image(February security patch ) and was wondering what if i flash last cataclysm mod on MMB29Q build. So i did and it was success.
Steps to follow:
1)flash factory image(w/o userdata.img)
2)flash latest TWRP recovery
3)flash SuperSU 2.52(i prefer this one),cataclysm mod(5 jan),a custom kernel with permissive selinux(i havent checked with boot.img come in mod.zip)(i flashed elite kernel)(i flashed elite kernel)
4)reboot :fingers-crossed:
The Cataclysm mod will likely work until the next build "N". There are little differences between the Marshmallow builds so flashing the latest Jan 5 mod on top of whatever new version is released will likely work.

I had modified my system, such as build.prop and other sound mods, will it affect / broke ota installation?
Yep. It'll will broke the installation process, since you've modified the build prop and system, it'll surely give you error, so I'm requesting you to please roll back to stock build prop from here Sprout4 / Sprout8 [These build.props are flashable zips now, so all you need to do is just flash them and then try installing ota it's gonna install without errors. And Uninstall if you've any sound mods installed, then attempt the installation, it's gonna update successfully!

Any Sprout4 OTA over Sprout4
Any sprout8 OTA over Sprout8
Yay! There are links for full stock Roms, how can I flash them?
Yep, those links / zips are full stock Roms, if you're running on any build or running on any custom rom & wanna revert back to full stock with July security patch, then just download those zips, reboot recovery, perform a full wipe [Twrp> wipe > advanced > wipe everything except Micro_SD]
Then install that full stock rom zip, hit reboot key after installation!

Maga, did you tried flashing that zip via stock recovery or custom recovery!
If you tried flashing it via stock then you might get that error!
In case of you're tryin' flash that zip via TWRP, then please clean wipe your device and make sure your downloaded file is not corrupted!

Yo my man, just do this if you wanna fall back to Google stock Rom!
1. Download full stock rom [ Look OP for link]
2. Reboot into recovery [Twrp / philz]
3. If you're using twrp then, go to wipe - > Advanced wipe >Choose all except SD card> swipe to wipe. In case if you're running philz, choose *Clean to install new rom, then flash zip.
4. Once the wipe done, now go back, and choose install zip > choose the stock rom MOB30W Zip where you keep on your SD, then swipe to install > wait few minutes, after completion of installing zip, tap reboot!
Voila done! :3 Now you're on full stock MOB30W with August security patch.

Nexus 6 - which image and how to update

I have been reading many posts but unable to figure out for sure and dont want to take chance and am not very tech savvy.
Current status:
unlocked and rooted
Nexus 6 International
Build Number: NBD91P
Android Version: 7.0
Android Security Patch Level: November 5, 2016
Confusion:
I have no update notification. However I see factory images for
7.0.0 (NBD91U)
7.0.0 (NBD91X)
7.1.1 (N6F26Q)
What should i do to upgrade and to which version.
Now being rooted I know i cannot just install updates.
What should be my step by step safest mode?
(Flashfire / sideload / OTA etc etc)
Also please elaborate on your steps i dont want to mess.
Thanks tonnes in advance and awaiting ur kind response.
I was on the December update and went to 7.1.1 by manually flashing the new radio / system / cache / kernel and fastboot, the re-rooting. Download the full image from Google, extract the necessary files from the zip and then:
Code:
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase system
fastboot flash radio "[I]name of radio[/I]"
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot reboot
I then booted the phone once just to make sure everything was working and the rebooted to recovery (7.1.1 finally has a reboot option) to flash the latest SuperSU.
If you use speakerphone don't go to official 7.1.1 from January but you can do the 7.0 image
if i understand correctly it means i could ignore 37MB update and directly flash new image except data part to preserve data. One more q which image to flash?
7.0.0 (NBD91X) is the latest 7.0.0 version
7.1.1 (N6F26Q) is the new 7.1.1 version
The 7.1.1 version has a speakerphone bug so if you use your speakerphone a lot stick with 7.0.0 (NBD91X). If you don't use your speakerphone (like me) go with 7.1.1 (N6F26Q). I've found 7.1.1 (N6F26Q) to be very stable except for the speakerphone bug.
am also still on 7.0.0 (NBD91X) January patch,
why others already on 7.1.1 and different built but not me?
cant understand why there are different built,
can anyone explain? sorry noobie on these things

April 2020 Stock/Magisk-Patched Boot Imgs for FLAME QQ2A.200405.005 [ + Update Guide]

Hi all, I just updated to April 2020 firmware with no issues. Just waiting on a Kirisakura update and we'll be right back to where we left off. =)
edit: nevermind, Kirisakura 4.2.0 works perfectly fine!
In case anyone is looking for them, here is the stock and Magisk Patched boot images:
Magisk v20.4 patched boot image: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261763723
Stock boot image: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261763724
I'll also post my update procedure in case it helps anyone else out. This was my first OTA on this device (just got it last month), and I was able to update with absolutely no problems, no loss of root, no need to change Magisk or EdXposed settings/modules/etc. SafetyNet still passes, etc. Very seamless and I'm definitely happy with going with a Pixel as my next device. =D
This is ONLY for QQ2A.200405.005 firmware - it goes without saying, PLEASE ONLY FLASH IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING.
UPDATE PROCEDURE (using a PC. I know there are other posts covering other methods, but this was the fastest, easiest, most reliable and intuitive way for me, and I didn't need to do any additional research, so I chose to do it this way)
** I was previously on March 2020 firmware and these steps therefore correspond as such.
I DID NOT BOOT BACK INTO O/S UNTIL ALL STEPS WERE COMPLETED - I DID THIS TO ENSURE EVERYTHING WOULD BOOT BACK UP WITH MAGISK / EDXPOSED ALL RUNNING PROPERLY RIGHT AWAY
this may not be necessary, but I didn't want to find out, plus this was the quickest and most intuitive way for me anyway.
1. boot into bootloader
----------------
** I was on Kirisakura kernel, so I needed to flash BOTH the stock boot and dtbo March 2020 images - make sure you flash the proper corresponding images to your current pre-update firmware.
2. fastboot flash boot boot.img
3. fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
- these steps to restore stock recovery, dtbo.img also necessary for some kernel installations
-----------------
4. use volume keys to change selection to boot to Recovery Mode
* when you reach the android symbol with No Command, hold power button, tap volume up, in case you've forgotten
5. choose option "Apply update from ADB"
6. adb sideload flame-ota-qq2a.200405.005-2b5150a4.zip
7. Once the OTA sideload is done, Reboot to bootloader (you'll also notice it's now on the other slot after OTA flashed)
8. fastboot flash boot flame-qq2a.200405.005-magisk_patched-20.4.img
9. done, start the phone
This was a 100% seamless update that required no additional / re-setup of any of my Magisk or EdXposed setups. So far, no issues at all for both me and my wife's phone (P4 XL and P4). Magisk and Xposed are playing nice with these builds so far.
All of the factory files can be found here https://developers.google.com/android/images. boot.img and dtbo.img are in their corresponding full Factory Image zips, and the ota zip is under Full OTA Images.
Edit: To be nice to the noobs, and also because I have nothing better to do at this moment thanks to the pandemic, here are the stock boot and dtbo images (FOR MARCH 2020) as well as a direct link to the April 2020 OTA zip:
flame-qq2a.200305.003-factory-dtbo.img: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261763748
flame-qq2a.200305.003-factory-boot.img: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261763749
April 2020 OTA Zip from Google: https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/flame-ota-qq2a.200405.005-2b5150a4.zip
thanks for the guide and files! i followed it step by step and had no probs at all. i have both the 4 and 4XL and wanted to stop in and say thanks for both guides. update went smooth on both devices
btw i was using stock kernel but restored both the boot and dbto images just in case. no problems there either.
