Hi, I'm building my first Rom and I got to know how to set the right permission to the build.prop file, with NotePad ++, or in everyway to match it, because when I try to flash my custom rom get error:6.........bad syntax/permission
Thanks in advance

my bad
Hello, guis, I'm trying to create a ROM, nothing special, just to learn.
I'm using the dsixda's kitchen, so I need a .tar file of some firmware as base, but I don't know what fw is the best to the job.
Oh, another thing: dsixda's kitchen asks for a .tar file, but when I download some fw (from SamMobile, for example) I receive a .tar.md5 file. Should I just rename and remove the ".md5"?
Sorry if it was a noob question.
EDIT
Tried to rename and remove the ".md5" and got this:
Available ROM:
(1) I9070VJLPD_I9070ZTMLPD_I9070VJLPD_HOME.tar
Enter selection number (default=1, cancel=0, r=refresh): 1
Selected I9070VJLPD_I9070ZTMLPD_I9070VJLPD_HOME.tar
The new working folder will be named WORKING_072813_093341
Change the name (y/n)? (default: n): y
Enter a new name (using this prefix): WORKING_GALAXYSADVANCE

DDLUP8 (Indian), XXLQB (Serbia) and LQG (Italian) fws are best for now.

OK, the System Extractor is pulling everything right now.
What file (extension) I'll get? Or will be a folder?

You will get the system folder. Then you zip the system folder into a zip and start the kitchen and choose zip

Well, I don't know what happened so because I'm already using/testing my ROM and the system apps are the same of before.
I removed by mistake dialer and contact app on my oneplus.
How can I restore it?
Thanks

flash your backup ...
Don't need to restore backup. Copy the apk from a ROM into your /system/app or priv-app (can't remember which), then reboot.
Every time I try to download modules from magisk app (I tried with more modules) it says "Processing error". How can I solve?

Create a folder named MagiskManager on your internal SD card. I had to do this on my Nvidia Shield Portable because Magisk didn't create it itself.

Didn't work at all...
I've created that MagiskManager in both directories (both the internal storage and sd card) and it changed nothing.

The issue described in this thread is well old and if you're experiencing something similar it's probably not gonna be related.
Check here:

And if you can't fix, provide more details and logs.
