ok here's the issue
after using jb for about 1 month the mobile can no longer press install button only cancel button works , i haven't installed any powersaving app or screen dimmer .
factory resetting solves the issue but i cannot factory reset every month .
PLEASE HELP ME IN SOLVING THIS ISSUE

It happend again after factory reset?
me too when install nightly screen for darkness screen
If you have nightly custom rom just install the stable one same with cmd.

It also happened to me. Do a wipe cache and dalvik.

Hi folks,
While this morning my Samsung Galaxy S i9000 was installing an (auto) update from an app (unfortunately I do not know which one), the phone rebooted. But it got caught in the start up screen (Samsung S animation logo). After a while the phone vibrates like there is an app which crashes...
I don't know how to solve this problem, as a factory reset (startup with volume button pressed etc.) did not work out...
Does this issue sound familiar to anyone of you? Thanks for any help...

Try Volume Up+Home key+Power when/if you get into recovery try a factory reset wipe cache dalvik cache. Try to flash a new rom using odin... to bad that this happened from an app update...
Done that, didnt work.
now fixed though after using the Video Guide of Darky's Resurrection Edition v9.2 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=940671.
My SGS is back into business, seems to be working even better then before I bricked it. Thanks Darky!

my galaxy note has a problem.
menu and back button does not working.
when I touch them nothing happened.
when I touch the mobile screen their light turned on but they doesn't have any action.
I try to change its ROM to solve the problem but it doesn't solved.
is it a hardware or software problem?

no I didn't. how does this app works?
Changing ROM may not solve issue even if it is SW error
Flash GB ROM (If you are on ICS)
Wipe cache and data
if SW error it shud be solved.

let me to explain
first time that I see this problem it was in GB 2.3.7
I think that, changing to ICS may solve it so upgrade it to ICS 4.0.4
that was'nt solved so I changed it back to GB 2.3.6 (N7000XXLA3_N7000OXALA3_OXA) whit odin and using 4 files(PIT,PDA,PHONE,CSC)
but it wasn't solved yet.

4 files flashing must followed wiping isn't?
If after wiping (hard reset) it doesn't.work then u shud consult service.centre.
Thogh you are on gb then nothing wrong.to hard reset once from recovery (wipe cache n.data)

My n7000 open the phone 1-5minutes , sometimes will blackscreen autoshutdown thephone ..

Since you are on 2.3.6 you are on a safe kernel...

turn yr phone into recovery y holding volume up+power+center button.
then do a factory reset/user data.
wipe cache.
doing both of this should get yr phone to run smoothly.

what is the problem and what can i do?

Which firmware do you have ?
Did you install any program or custom firmware ?
- try to hard reset your phone from the system menu (factory reset)
- check if there is a firmware upgrade avalaible
- if no improvement, well you should return it asap to your vendor, and get it replaced.

I tested factory reset and update firmware.I didnt install any custom roms.
Do you think is it a hardware problem?

Return your phone. Probably a hardware issue.

is it still stucked ?? btw its happen with me also after 2 days of buying the phone ..try to hold the button at the back for 12 seconds and then it will reboot..see if ur prob solved
or else get it to the service center if the prob presists
How does the phone gets restart??

yes there is button on back its very small and orange in color press it by pen or pencil...and hold it for few seconds
Whenever I download app and try to click install button button the install button do not respond.this happened when I updated to 5.1.When I factory reset it worked fine.But after sometime it started doing the sane thing again.I am not rooted and boot loader is locked.

Are you using any app like screen filter ? If so, disable it and then try to install.
yaa it worked.Blue filter was the culprirt.Thanks bro
