unfortunately after upgrading to jb most of the hd games either lag or stopped working
any suggestion or any custom kernel or rom which can play most of the hd games (heavy games) smoothly on galaxy i9070 ?
CoCore 6.8 kernel and harshjelly rom should be fine. If not, get PAC rom which has cm kernel and best performance, tho it has some issues.

I'm currently on Darky's 10.2 EE and it lags with games like asphalt 6 or fast 5....Any suggestions?
Try CM7 or MIUI .
It have other GPU Drivers etc.
How smooth are any of the jelly bean roms working for you guys? I recently tried two different CM10 roms and they were nowhere near as smooth as the latest CM9 nightlies. Is project butter not working to full effect? Or is our aging APQ8064 the problem or is it the 2.6 kernel these roms use?
(I Acme-Uninstalled all elements of android and then re-installed using AcmeInstaller 3 before I tried the CM10 roms.)

I find CM10 to be much smoother than CM9, especially in the browser and general use. I did notice that it can take a day or so to smooth out, also supercharging really helps with memory management. Another thing that helps a lot is setting the up threshold to 35 in setcpu, this also helps a lot in CM9.
hey guys, i love CM roms, but i lose a high number of FPS(frames p second) in games and benchmarks when a i using a CM based rom, im stuck in the stock based 4.0.4 because in this roms i have a civato kernel with overclock GPU to 350mhz.. i wanna know if have any kernel with GPU overclock for CM roms for i leave of stock roms... someone can help me?
Good day to all. I'm a long user of TW Roms (JB 4.1.2). I use my n7000 exclusively for gaming purposes. I prefer "performance and graphics" rather than "features". Right now, my rom is TW JB 4.1.2 based rom (Aryamod) with a custom kernel (Forest Kernel 1.9.1). So my question is, are there any significant difference when it comes to "performance/ speed/ 3D graphics/ increase FPS" if I decided to switch from 4.1.2 to 4.4 Roms (AOSP,CM,Omni and etc etc.)? Remember, I'm using Forest Kernel, which have OC CPU (1.6mhz), GPU (400mhz), and 60hz screen panel. Are there any counterpart for this kernel in 4.4 Roms? I was told that KK 4.4 roms has the most updated mali drivers (not sure), so I assume that there are some difference graphics wise. So when it comes to gaming, does KK 4.4 perform better than TW (JB 4.1.2) roms? If yes, what rom and what kernel? Thanks.
Hello I am young Brazilian apologize for English 'm using Google translator
I'm using a custom ROM CyanPop 2.0
I noticed that the games on our beloved G2 are more fluid and without lags as Modern Combat 5 blackout and other heavy games and some emulators lag is very rare to happen as PPSSPP is a bit smoother for our joy and WHAT you think of MOTO G 2014 with Android 6.0 ?
ROM CyanPop : http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/development/rom-cyanpop-v1-0-t3249423
Credits RolanDroid the great ROM recommend it to everyone
My channel on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/c/FuzileirOGames
I found the games ( gta vc, drastic emulator etc) to be laggy in cyanpop. I'm on cm 13 official and found that the games run more smoothly than in lollipop. I would suggest cm13 official With Monster kernel, cpu governor :lionheart.

Use Cm downloader app from playstore to download minimum rom package (delta) to update cm 13 official rom .
CyanPop has released version 3.0 as well don't forget to upgrade it first.
