I wonder whether i'm missing something obvious, or if this has been discussed before or the answer is already obvious? :s but is there two variants of the 4x HD, and if there is, post which one you have and we can check distribution, post Area, carrier, time bought.
It's just the buttons are different on different models :s On the top, My Buttons, On the bottom, A friends buttons ;s

Every 4Xs I have seen were the top one.
My 4X I bought in Poland, no brand.

Bought mine from Finland, no carrier, top model. I have never even seen the bottom one.
Those with the multitasking button seem to be early developer models, the first photos of the device were posted with that. Every other 4X I have seen has the menu button instead.
the top is the final version of 4x and the bottom one is prototype 4x

The bottom one was a developer model which wasnt sold to the public, the button on the right was a menu button. I've seen that model at the MWC 2012.
Mines the top one
i guess the mysterious Q is answered now
but @penguin449, in case you still want to know about it, i'd suggest you to make a poll to avoid thousands of posts

I have an original XDA in excellent condition for sale.
It comes with all standard accessories, except is missing the o2 leather case (99p on eBay), the spare stylus, and the Outlook 2002 disc.
The phone has one slight scratch on the screen, which can only be seen in very bright light and from an angle.
It also has a 0.5mm dot on the back (not major at all, but thought I'd better mention it)
Hardly been used while I've had it, and never taken outside. Since changed to an E200, so dont need the XDA anymore.
It's going for a bargain price of £200, which comes with a 512mb SD card worth £130!!
If you're interested, let me know here, or email me: [email protected]
Will sell without the SD card for £130. Or offer me something as a trade.

For my Mom, her eye sight is getting bad. She talks and texts something fierce but lately she been struggling to see her ancient T-Mobile's screen. No data package or fancy extra's needed.
What do you guys recommend?
This is the problem...T-Mobile does not really care about people like your mother
they do not offer that many choices for near/far sighted people.
Your best choice will be to cancel T-Mobile and get her a Gitterbug phone . They offer phones designed for people with limitations and in need of big numbers and big screens without the fancy data packages
maybe the Galaxy Note i717 with xtra large fonts?
T-Mobile mobile for your mom? Sounds like a fair swap
Nah, seriously, has anyone tried the accessibility setting on Android? I've not tried it myself and just wondered if it may be useful in this case.
Edit: I just tried it - forget about that! It's totally horrible and useless. I was expecting something akin to the magnifier on Windows, but it just vocalising what you're doing and not very well at that. Clicking an icon on my homepage told me "Workspace 2 of 3" (obviously my 2nd screen of 3 home pages). Pretty pointless.
Either what MTM said or a larger touch screen phone hacked to show all apps, screens, ect on the, largest font available. I'm, sorry I'm not, more help.

It will interesting to see if HTC will provide access to the bootloader.
Honestly, if you root this device, it will be a decent phone. It has ver similar specs to the sensation, and for the price a rooted version will get you by for awhile.
Bootloader unlock? You bet, right through HTCDev. Now we wait for a custom recovery and root.

Thank god someone else actually had this phone other than me now. Got mine yesterday and you're the only other person I've seen post that has one.

I really hope this phone does well. I like the Note 2 and DNA, but heaven forbid if all the "cool" phones have to be the encroaching tablet size territory. With a custom recovery and root, I am seriously contemplating having the First be my main driver and sell of the Note 2 and Optimus G.
I got it because I had a nexus 4 but I was always shuffling it around because of the size plus the battery is garbage. This is so easy to use one handed and the battery lasts about 7 hours of screen on which is almost double what I got on the nexus. I just want root the stock ROM is working fine for me and I surprisingly like Facebook home so far and I didn't really use Facebook much before.

This strikes me as an ideal phone for CyanogenMod. If audio quality reviews come back positive, I might just buy.

Bought this one yesterday and got it in 1 day by mail (Netherlands) and it's a good and sollid cover.
Like the function that when you open it your screen turns on.
Only: 24,95 (euro's) free shipping (Europe)
Gecko Covers
Perfect Fit
I was waiting for someone in my car so i got a little bored. Seems that my N7 fits perfectly in my Nissan Almera
It's a good combo with the cover and sygic :good:
I use one of these as well but I noticed a few other brands (ie: Targus) have the exact same thing.
This is one of the standard style cases available. Cheap eBay from China ones for around $8 and Amazon ones from various companies for $12-20. Plenty of threads in this subforum about them. This is for USA folk who read this thread since for all I know you've found the cheapest price for delivery to the Netherlands.

Doesn't really surprise me, though there can be quality differences, between the eBay version and others.

OnePlus 3 will launch tomorrow, OP recommends to use a combination of mobile + VR glasses + Loop app for the full experience.
However - for people without VR Glasses - there is a possibility to watch it live-streamed via a Browser too.
