[Q] Boot loop and phone.apk force close after flashing update.zip

Hello everyone.
I have been searching for hours and found nothing relating to my specific issue. Basically it is this, I have recently finished a theme and am ready to release it. Before doing so I wanted to test its functionality. Now pushing the apk's through android commander works perfectly, installing my themed apk's via update.zip through recovery has become a headache. After the "update" has finished and I boot the phone i run into an interesting scenario. Once I slide to unlock I get an error that com.phone.apk is fc'ing then boot loop. Same error until I pull the battery. I have no idea wtf is going on and I came here to you fine folks searching some assistance. Btwi haven't touched the phone apk. Here is what I themed:
ADW
Browser
Google quick search box
MMS
Settings
Framework
All the above are directed to system in the update script.
I also included two widgets that I made and directed those to data.
Script looks like this:
copy_dir PACKAGE:system SYSTEM:
copy_dir PACKAGE:data DATA:
Now this is my first time doing this and from everything I have read this will do what I want, and for the most part it seems as if it has copied the right files but somehow in the process fubared other things.
Any ideas, help and solutions are greatly welcome.

[Q] Non-OS services running on startup

Folks, please be gentle if I'm asking something obvious... I'm new to Android. The question is if there is a way to disable some non-OS services (such as Skype, HeyTell, Google BlogService, HeyWire etc) from starting after my ROOTED DS7 is powered off/on. I'm UNIX guy, so was looking for something like /etc/rcX.d start scripts but was not able to find it. Advanced Task Killer for Froyo cant disable those permanently as well. Basically I need to stop it manually every time I turning on my DS7.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It has been a while since I went into an android installation, but the install packages have the extension .apk. There is a folder on the device that contains the .apk files that are installed when the device is reset. If you go into that folder you can rename the .apk to .bak or whatever, and then do a hard reset, the programs won't install. Maybe someone with a rooted device can provide the directory names.

Thank you for the reply. There is a directory /system/app with bunch of apk(s) in it. However if I rename those which are starting after the reboot wouldn't it disable app permanently? It is not my goal, honestly. I just trying to find the way to use those on demand basis. Thank you again.

Titanium backup can freeze those app so they won't run, and then un-freeze them if you want.
Thanks a lot! Worked as a charm!

Ultra Debloater for Samsung J7 2016 devices

Hi friends,
As we all know, sammy devices comes with lots of junks and bloats which hardly we use.
So, i was looking for a thread where i could find a way to debloat/remove excess system files from J7/6 but i was quite depressed when i found no link for my device. Although some nice techies have posted zip from other sources, i mean some debloater zips are directly posted here from s6 groups. And as we know that not all devices have same bloats or junks or having different names of same bloats.
That's why i tried to do some changes on a zip made by @TENN3R (Originally made by @ambasadii . Thanks both of you man) and finally come here with this work. Hope you'll love it.
Before flashing this zip, my device system part was showing 118mb space. After flashing zip modded by me, i got whopping 1.19gb free space in system.
All i can say is, your device system will have a great amount of space to breath which will surely show you result in battery life + performance (as per my experience I'm getting +15/20% battery life and performance is superb)
So, let's come to the point. There's attached zip, download it & move it to device internal storage/sdcard/usbotg. Reboot to recovery (your device must be rooted with TWRP recovery preinstalled). Flash this zip and wipe dalvik/cache. Reboot to system and you'll see that almost all junks is removed.
To know which apps it removes and if you want to keep some system apps, open zip, copy updater script on your pc, open updater script with notepad++, check all apps names one (takes hardly few minutes) and if you want to keep any app in system and don't want to remove it, just remove that whole line. For example, if you want to keep "GoogleContactsSyncAdapter", remove line contains that app name ? runs ("/sbin/rm", "-rf", "system/app/GoogleContactsSyncAdapter"); ? including semicolon same as shown here.
I suggest you to take backup of all apps (system/app & system/priv-app) so in case you want to restore any app, you can do it. It will remove some unwanted junk apps from csc folder also, (Yes it will remove bike mode too)
I have tested this zip few times on my device (SM-J710GN) and on one another device (SM-J710FN) and there's no any fc or issues. So i think it's worth trying.
But as we all say here, I'm not responsible if your device get bootloops, your wife hits you or your dog bites you for some reasons.
Do not forget to hit thanks button. :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

Excellent! Works like a charm! Thank you a lot. I've done a video guide (sub Eng). Hope this can be helpful.

Here is the original zip file attached.
You should edit the script according to your needs before flash.
Because it also remove sbrowser, nfcui, sbike etc. etc.
