We all hope that someday that work..depend of LG official release, we already know the results.
i heard somethihg about that ICS have to be the meddle betwin tablets OS and phone. so it have fully support Tegra2 system. so maybe LG will be so kind and will give us official ICS
I believe, that LG will give us official ICS but one year after my death ...

Hi,
I just checked p970 firmwares and i saw this :
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/WEBSW/LGKU5900/AKTFTL/V20t_00/V20T_00.kdz
It seems to be a new version of GB, but maybe the battery drain from v20Q is corrected...
Could anyone test it (I can't due to my immediate need of my phone)
but basically, Q version is not an asian fw. so maybe this new T is the same as Q but for asia...
Yes maybe,
But what i've not seen is that this firmware is made for KTF, so i doubt it is open for other SIM cards...
if a device is unlocked, a branded FW shouldn't affect that

FW simlock doesn't exist on Android ?
it's device related, FW version doesn't matter
Ok, i didn't know
Is there something new?
yea, if you would, you may flash a sfr branded FW over your orange FW

I don't think it would brick your phone as I'm currently using a KU5900, and flashed p970's v20o. just don't flash the radios..

The description doesn't say Nougat... and what it does say certainly doesn't seem to justify 326MB of download.
anyone applied this yet?
EDIT: very bad typo on my part.. corrected.

PK6 firmware has been posted on Sammobile for almost a month maybe. I installed it on my T719. Still MM, probably small fixes, and security patch level is December 1, 2016.

Yea, i guess it can take longer to reach your device via OTA. I keep tabs on https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and grab them as soon as they're posted.. But, I don't care what country they are for, I just install 1 from the new batch for the latest fixes and security updates lol.
A bigger version jump than before.
Does someone know the changelog?

It should.
But you may get ghost touches and swipes.
I switched to European H8266 firmware.
Fast updates.
No problems.

Exactly what I get on my XZ2 Compact, not still updated to the last version (but I know it is rolling out). I have also overheating issue especially during charging, what about XZ2 big model?
I really have to know if this will be solved or I'll move to Galaxy S9.

I can't remember a real heat.
Or it got fixed.
Which hardware revision do you have?
And remember.
Samsung hates open source.
The update policy is crap.
And the exynos kills real custom ROM development, even with treble.

For what I have seen there are already some roms in development and root, which isn't available for our phone closed with DRM protection.
But at least something is coming out for S9, nothing for the Xperia.
By the way there is Snapdragon version of S9 which is amazing and powerful, so would be a good alternative, but I would not need it if they would fix these basic bugs.
How to know about hardware revision? I know I got H8314 model.

Yes, thanks to project treble, but they can't fix device specific things.
It should be on the box of the smartphone.
Abs after the official announcement, that the XZ2 and XZ2c are part of the open source programm, then you can also use the treble Roms and Sony's aosp image and some guys will make device specific roms.

Xz2 Compact REV 1 on the box...it doesn't sounds good. Maybe I should send it for warranty and try to get fixed touch and overheating, since it's the first version and they with the next ones fixed other issues.
Anyone having trouble installing this? Doesn't seem want to to install via OTA on my H8296 with 1314-9934 (IN) firmware, keep getting "Could not install."
I'll have to reboot and try again.

Eh, not yet.
I just used newflasher and Xperifirm and did it manually. Seems OK. Often this is a problem with Sony's updater software. Seen similar issues like this with the XZ and XZ1 where for some reason random updates just don't go (and if I wasn't lazy I'd check the logs to see where the problem lies ).
Does this mean you're OTA went normally for .26?
Is there any assured news regarding Note 9 getting UI 2.1 update.
the latest news regarding to UI2.1 ive read is that 9 series would not get the OneUI2.1
The latest latest news seem to be great
https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-note-9-one-ui-2-1-update-still-possibility/
If they have released UI 2.1 For Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 i think that is possible to port to note 9
https://www.google.bg/amp/s/www.and...te-10-lite-now-receiving-one-ui-21-update?amp
Note10 Lite uses same cpu as us
Plus Samsung said they're testing it on the Note9 so no need to port, it'll be official ^^

The article states that they are testing One UI 2.1 on both the European and Korean Exynos models for now, the update should be released sometime soon. I would expect the Snapdragon variants to receive the update soon after. I just hope that the fix the Secure Folder Google Play Store update bug with this update.
