Q1: I can't install a kernel! Help?
You must first flash the Ext4 mod and then flash the kernel you want (It has to have Ext4 support)
Q2: Beats audio doesn't work...please help

The only problem I'm having is the HTC wallpapers is not there and all of a sudden my wallpaper changed and now i can't change

This is crazy smooth way smoother than 3.0 its crazy I installed ext 4 so u should do that . I underclocked ans its still very fast

Okay, I'll make a regular link for it as well. Wait 5 minutes

cant seem to flash either this ROM or the Anthem ROM 3.3 . Followed all the instructions to the letter. CWM is updated to a fairly recent one, if not the latest. ROM doesnt boot, keeps going into recovery.

Oh damn, promised myself no more ROM flashing. But gotta try this out.

Since you are using CWM be sure to wipe all the usual suspects including /boot and /system. If for some reason it still does not work, then use the VirusROM Superwipe found in Optional DL of the Anthem thread. I'll move the DL to this thread as well.

couldnt boot the phone after flashing...
it still stucks at SS_Cobra page now.
Its having forever loop boot now.

This is what I did:
1)Wipe the phone in clockworkmod
2)flash your rom, fix permissions, reboot the phone
3)when I reach the lockscreen, it starts to boot again and again. and if I unlock the lockscreen, it gets Location Error and continue loop boot.
4)Remove battery, boot into recovery, flash 1,2,3 zip, fix permissions. reboot phone, still same loop boot.
Now im restoring my previous rom, i will try to flash your rom again without any wipe or factory reset this time

Nooo dont wipe or anything flash over direcltly or rosie will not work and phone will not boot restore back up flash over back up and fix ......

No need to remove tweaks? Just take all files you have from this one and put it in the rom u know it works with. Pack it all up with kitchen tool qnd edit updater script so it fits the phone. Then it is a rom and can be flashed on a wiped runnymede. If not then it is only a patch for another rom

na, no boot loops or problems
just saw that rom by penguin and wandered if it was related to this
also i was asking about my jellyfish, it has an extras folder from the CM10base by cute-prince
nothing appears to load from it, so was wandering why and how to get stuff to load from extras folder

problem in this rom
I have a problem in the installation of rom!!!!!
step1 :
I wipa all and install the rom from sd card then the rom install and restart the device after install the rom
step2 :
the device restarted then the device appear the logo of htc and the device stoppedon this logo and don`t go on the rom
what can i make to setup this rom?

Did you flash a kernel? Read the OP and flash the correct kernel. Will probably solve the issue.

Sorry you have had problems, but yes. Flash a boot kernel, like prometheus

nice work!! voice input even works, an issue with cyanogenmod10.
is there a way to adjust or turn off the transparency? on some menus for apps and settings, the text cannot be seen as it is set.

unfortunately the transparency is is what makes this rom a bit different, cannot be turned off easily, you could try a theme from the play store see if it makes any difference

How To Flash/Install:
Do a FULL WIPE first. Full Wipe means format /system, /data, /cache.
Now flash ROM and then GAPPS through recovery.
After flashing, do NOT reboot phone. Instead POWER OFF the device and boot to bootloader.
Extract the boot.img from rom and flash it using fastboot flash boot boot.img command.
Reboot.

Thats not how it works.. For porting we need a 4.2 Base Rom. It has to be compiled from source..

Dam..really wishing I still had my buzz.. like to running this Rom. Anybody wanna trade for a huawei phone, it's rooted but I can't find a recovery or Rom for it lol

Finally, I was able to download it and installed it with lots of curiosity but I am sorry to say Rom didn't work as expected. Lot's of force close errors ever since first time boot. FC on holo launcher, FC on system settings, FC on specific setting sections, FC is about com.android.input method something. I see it frequently on this. I know I followed correct process as I have been using different custom roms on my 4 different devices. Just to mention again; I went to CWM, wiped the cache, user data etc, wipled the dalvik cache and then installed this zip.
Could you please let me know what I am doing wrong? or there is some fix for the same? Did you encounter these issues while you tested the rom?
PS: I did fix permissions in CWM as well but it didn't help.
Please provide the fix or let me know if I am doing anything wrong? Thanks!

See it worked well for me maybe ill post my backup but I didn't encounter this at all.
Do all wipes after flashing too lets see if it works.

I installed the rom and then GApps, but the android market won't present..
I love that rom man. It's sooo smooth. In addition we finally got someone, who is still working on our little Buzz
Let me know for the update of the rom, or a fix for the market

PS: No bugs found yet (I got it as my daily rom)

I got the android market pre -installed as I didn't install gapps, as its causing it to disappear,light gapps included

holo louncher is paid version
holo louncher can not be replace or update
even if u delete it u can not replace with new one
and if u delete it u can not access phone setting
speed is normal

The rom dosent fc if u flash the correct way.
It is as follows
1.data wipe
2.cache wipe
3.dalvik wipe
4.rom flashing
5. Repeat 1 ,2,3.
6.fix permissions .
7. flash gapps if provided on thread.
8.data wipe.
9. Reboot
Plz don't post fc problems cause if its real bug I would have fixed before releasing the rom
.

RemPuzzle 4.1 (I restored to RemPuzzle again because with Ginger_Kat rom phone was struck restarting loop :-o )
