Hi, all! Is there someone, who can help me, please? On my Galaxy Ace more than 70% of the games, which i install just can't start. I saw this thread: Almost all apps "stop unexpectedly" , but she is for tablets. My phone is rooted, with [ROM][CM10.1.3] - modded - [stable-20130820] / [Nightly-20130817] - OTA installed and MA6.kernel.cooper-20130822. What can i do? Thanks and i'm sorry for my bad english!
PS: This is when i install them from .apk files, but before a few minutes i saw in goole play (on my PC) for example the game "Despicable me", it says "This item is not compatible yith your device". The same is with "Granny Smith". WTF So how many games will be incompatible? After all the phone is not than simple (or may be the word is ordinary...) :S

ICS/JB are NOT officially supported in our device Galax Ace that's the problem.
CM roms aren't recomended to play games, use a custom/stock rom
FIRST wipe cache and try again if that doesnt work then try other roms cos you are using android version 4.2.2 and let me tell you that above gingerbread no rom whether 4.0 or 4.1 or 4.2 can run games smoothly and about games showing incompatible option please search those games with armv6 written after them if they are ported you can run them
NOTE USE CHAIN FIRE 3D IF YOU ARE ON 2.3 NOT ABOVE THAT AND YOU CAN USE SEEDER AND GAMECHIC ALONG FOR GOOD GAMING

Ever since I got my rooted v20n working, I've been trying to get Dead Space to run.
I've tried using Chainfire3D with each of the 3 drives but I wasn't successful...
The best I've gotten was to the EA loading screen, and then the app crashes!
Any tips or suggestions that might work? Maybe overclocking the device or using an app to fix an issue? (because I have no idea why the game crashes)

it worked to me without chainfire 3d. Install,download additional file and play
latest version is actually 1.35. they added power vr support in this version.
it works on cm7 without cf. 1.31 wasn't working.

Yesterday I upgraded my Tab to ICS 4.0.4 a total of 157MB update which apparently seemed cool and a bit faster but has plenty of problems...
1. It does not play any video's in browser e.g. from youtube or daily montion, etc... (I even tried dolphin HD but still same) seems like some plugin
2. Browser crashes plenty of time
3. Some Apps stuck while loading.
If there's any solution to it please post, i really appreciate your concern.
Or shall i downgrade to older version but how???
I think n°1 has to do with the fact that Flash Player is not supported anymore from Adobe. So you won't be able to play those videos ever again my friend, sorry to say so.
As for the others, I don't have a clue.

First things first you probably should have not posted this in dev, This a General Question, so probably should have gone their or posted in the ICS update thread. :good:
On issue number two and three, have a look at logcat, ie the log of how thinks work in android. You view your log by installing Android SDK.
Then go to command prompt and cd to folder of where you installed the \SDK Folder\platform-tools
type: adb logcat
it will output a lot of text, look for errors regarding the app that is not loading. Best would probably to output text into a file and opening the file.
like this:
adb logcat >> logcat.txt
After a few second press ctrl-c
Then open with a decent texteditor, not Notepad, like Notepad++

If you want and are willing you can go back to stock 3.21 by first flashing 3.01 via ODIN, you know how to use ODIN?, if not let us know we can help, then update to 3.2.1 then root. Then wait for update again which should happen immediately I guess then fellow my instructions in post mentioned by Danny. Everybody here would be extremely grateful. :laugh:

When the new version of Instagram was avalaible, I downloaded , and when I was checking my friends activities the app crashed and closed.I've installed a apk from another source, already hung up the phone, and have even cleared the cache of the app. But the error continues. Please help me.

I have the same issue, just open it over and over again, after like 5 tries it doesnt crash.

Yesterday I finally decided to mess up with my phone, and I've installed miniCM v5.1 ROM + GAPPS from the proper topic here on forums and modified kernel which boosts my phone's clock to 825MHz. Everything works marvelous, phone is responsive like never etc, but the problem is Youtube isn't working.
I've tried installing GAPPS again, I've reinstalled YT again, I've also tried downloading Flash 11, but it says it's not compatible with my device, so I installed it manually from *.apk file. It installed correctly, but still YT doesn't work. It's not like it doesn't work at all, there is no video/sound. I can see all comments and information, but movie window has error message saying the "problem occured while trying to play" or something. And it happens for every movie I tried.
I am using: miniCM v5.1 + GAPPS provided in link in proper topic, NOPE Kernel v2.6 825MHz.
I will be very thankful for any help you guys can provide.

The problem ain't with the gapps or rom, youtube is not included in gapps provided in minicm 10 forum...
Do one thing, manually download youtube apk of ANY PREVIOUS VERSION, it seems to be a problem with the new version, although it is working for me...
BTW, thanks for trying out my rom...

Well, I'm really lookinf forward to the next update you stated that is going to be released later in march. I'm using your ROM because it has everything I need to customize my phone. One suggestion I'd like to give: a dialpad is too large, if you try to put first letters (T9 method of looking for contact) it shows only 1 record and then you have to expand the list manually and chose proper contact you wish to dial. Would it be possible to make this dialpad smaller, like native android dialpad which is used to type?
The only things I've installed to your rom was ES File Explorer which replaces CM file explorer, and ClockQ for clock on home screen. I'm still looking for better music player tho, Apollo doesn't seem to be well designed, I wish I could use stock HTC Player as I did on Sense. Also you could consider adding AppHider tool to be preinstaled which would help a lot of people to hide unneeded icons from the Drawer.
I also don't like having two launchers installed. I'm using the Trebuchet 0.2 at the moment as I didn't like the other one very much. You should stick with one in my opinion. I wish Trebuchet had some more options tho, like modifying the unlock button orientation on the ring :S
Anyway, thanks a lot, I'm finally happy with my Desire, no freezes and everything seems so smooth. I will try to donate after I get my payment, but it won't be very much as I live in quite poor country

Adding things like apphider would make the rom sluggish... I would try to change the dialer and the apollo music player is the default cm10 player...
Btw, I don't work for money so I don't need donations, I work for THANKS...

Confirmed, I've checked a lot of *.APK and found out that most recent working in my case is version 5.2.27.

I downloaded the ROM Renovate 9 and flashed my phone with it. After reinstalling all my favorite apps (long, hard work) I tried to play Jungle heat. Following happens: I can connect to the game. But if I want to go into a fight, there is popping up a message. to inform me that I got a not officiel version of the game. I should delete this version and download the official one from the PlayStore.
My.com (manufacturer of the game) told me, that I should delete the cache of the phone, the wrong version of the game and reinstall the lastest version from there server or from PlayStore.
Can somebody help me?
Other problem (not really important, but interesting) the App Llama can not play a ringtone by fullfilled condition.
So is the root question: What is wrong with this version of [ROM] RENOVATE | Milestone 9.0 | Sense 5.5 | 4.19.401.9?

Why would you think it is the rom when the game tells you that it is the game that is out dated.

First: before I touch the ROM the game was working very well
Secondth: same installing apk is working on bluestacks
thirdth: other games are working, but Games of my.com are not working.
Does Somebody have an idea where the I can find the game itself in my phone?

They are stored in the data partition. Only get games from official places like the play store.
