The unlocked SPL for Hero (click here)
Download the zip from this Thread and extract (mysplash.rgb565)
Download fastboot for your platform from HTC (click here) and extract to the same directory as the above
Power off your device, then power it on with Back button held down to access bootloader
Run a command prompt, change to the above dir and enter 'fastboot flash splash1 mysplash.rgb565' then 'fastboot reboot'
Click the link for more information to flash & make your own Splashscreens

This is a modified "fullscreen" HVGA version of Six6Sicks's Iron Man animation, it comes in 2 flavors: landscape and portrait.

Portrait version
To install:
- download your flavor
- put the zip file on your SD card
- boot into recovery
- apply update from SD card and select zip.
To remove:
- adb remount
- adb shell rm /data/local/bootanimation.zip

...amazing!
This is an awesome boot animation. I know I'm going to sound lazy for the next remark, but can someone make a flashable version of this? I'm at work and don't want to wait until I get home to have this boot animation. Thanks in advance!

amazing boot screen. it would be nice to make it easier by flashing since not many people have adb setup including me

Instructions:
Code:
1. Copy two files into your SD card from your PC
2. Go to /system/customize/resource and rename the "bootanimation.zip" to "bootanimation.zip.xxx" for backup and also do the same thing for "downanimation.zip".
3. Use ES explorer to copy the two zip files to the location
/system/customize/resource/
4.Reboot and see the changes :)
NOTE:
Code:
1.The location of "bootanimation.zip" and "downanimation.zip" will differ from one ROM to another. (I mentioned the one in Sense based ROMs)
2. You should be a rooted user and ES explorer should be granted root setting permissions in the settings tab
3. [COLOR="Red"]Please do not mess up with system files[/COLOR]

Boot animations for Galaxy S5 Cyanogenmod

This project is discontinued. Please do not expect any replays from me in this thread. You may still use the attached files (if available) in your own risk. Thank you...
I am sharing some simple boot animations for galaxy S5 (CyanogenMod) devices. It might work in other devices with a comparable resolution.
Warnings
1. Only tested in CyanogenMod. It may or maynot works on other AOSP and TW based custom ROMs. So, flash in your own risk.
2. Must requires an unlocked boot-loader and custom recovery (TRWP is recommended) installed.
How to apply
Download and place the flash-able boot-animation zip files in to your phone
Reboot to recovery
Flash
Reboot
Done
Your suggestions and questions are most welcomed. If somebody want, I can make custom animations too (please share your ideas).
