Nexus 5 - Nexus 4 General

LG’s G2 have just officially announced for European markets, but already it seems the Korean company may be working on another Google’s nexus phone, the Nexus 5.
Tinhte reports that the Google’s LG Nexus 5 will sport the Snapdragon 600 chip, 2 GB of RAM and 10 megapixel camera. It will probably cost you $299 for 8GB version and $349 for 16GB. The LG Nexus 5 is said to launch in the fourth quarter of this year, may be October, November, or December.
Google and LG has yet to formally announce the new device, leaving full details unclear. So if these rumors do turn out to be accurate, we’ll likely have to wait a little longer to get our first glimpse of the LG Nexus 5.

Do me a favor a don't copy/paste stuff you found on the internet and post it on XDA. It's bad manners toward the site youre doing it to and it clutters up the boards.

Nexus 7 pre-orders ship to some customers -- has yours?

Engadget is reporting that some N7 have shipped -- so has yours?
It could be a trickle or a torrent, but reports are coming in that Google is shipping the first Nexus 7 pre-orders to those customers who pulled the trigger at the Google Play Store while the I/O keynote seats were still warm. Third-party retailers Adorama and Ebuyer also briefly started selling the Jelly Bean tablet, although they're now known to have jumped the gun: both were told by Google to freeze sales until at least Sunday. The word of an imminent arrival is no doubt music to the ears of those who thought that even the three-week wait was interminable. Still, we'd like to know whether yours is truly on its way or if that $199, ASUS-made Android dream will have to wait a little longer.

Did you order the Nexus 7 & Nexus Q at the same time? It wont ship until the Q does..

Did you order the Nexus 7 & Nexus Q at the same time? It wont ship until the Q does...
Welp you may be SOL, just got off the phone with Google Play store, and on a hunch I asked when the Nexus Q was shipping as I ordered them together, turns out the Nexus Q has an "unknown" ship date (shocking!), and it gets better, my order wont ship until the Nexus Q is ready to ship! Wow Google, way to screw over an early adopter and supporter who showed loyalty by buying your "Mystery Q" (an overpriced media streamer lacking truly defined purpose). I have learned my lesson, loyalty to and support of Google is truly a futile task and fruitless endeavor.
There is a sticky for discussing Play Store orders

The LG Optimus 2X has been no stranger to controversy when it comes to firmware upgrades (for some variants, at least) so we didn't blink an eye when we heard LG Canada's proclamation that the dual-core device would forever remain on Gingerbread -- despite the company's previous statements to the contrary. It turns out, however, that the future of the Optimus 2X may not be all doom and gloom -- for Korea, anyway. The company's Korean branch sent out a tweet mentioning that the phone will indeed be updated to Android 4.0. Though the tweet itself appeared to be country-agnostic, we have reached out to LG reps and received official confirmation, telling us "for now, that tweet only refers to Korean availability." We still haven't heard any news about ICS coming to any of its global counterparts, but we imagine the healthy dev community will likely cook up a few happy options in a worst-case scenario.

Android Event October 29th

Hi guys,
Google recently announced an Android event for October 29th. What do you guys expect to see? LG's long-awaited Nexus phone, a Sony nexus, upgraded version of Google Now, a 32 GB version of the Nexus 7, or the Nexus 10?
Don't know what else to write.

I hope to see all of the above in the bajillion threads already dedicated to them =D I can forgive you if you post some credible leaks on said devices though, especially the Sony Nexus.
It's the slogan they released the Nexus 7 with so probably nothing "new". Maybe a 32gb model and price drop for the 16 and 8gb.

According to below image India launch expected on October 10
Looks like we finally have some indication of the Galaxy Note 4 release date in the Indian market. As per a Galaxy Note 4 marketing event schedule shared by Samsung on its official Facebook page, the phone will be launched on October 10 in the country. We are still waiting for an official confirmation from Samsung India but the date seems about right, as the phone is being released in South-East Asia around the same time. To remind you, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 805 or Exynos 5 Octa processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 16MP rear camera and Android 4.4.4.
There is no word on pricing but it is expected to retail over INR 50,000 in the country.
