Hi guys I've recently bought my HTC One and the Bluetooth Audio is noticeably worse than my Galaxy S3 I had prior, its also worse than the dreadful Lumia 920 I sadly purchased prior to the S3. Essentially I have bad quality on any bluetooth device - My in car Belkin system. My Surround sound system and my mini bluetooth speaker all of which were perfect all the way to max volume on my S3. This is irritating I had the stock ROM which did this then I have tried both Android HD Revolution ROMs with no luck either. Am I the only one having this problem?

I have a Bluetooth headset Plantronics Discovery 975.
It supports simultaneous connectin with two phones.
In my case it is HD2 and Nokia E51.
When the headset is connected just to one of them the sound quality is very good.
When it is connected to both HD2 (Android JDMS 1.6.2 Ultimate) and Nokia, then the sound quality is very good.
When it is connected to both HD2 (WinMo Energy Touch of Glass) and Nokia, the sound quality of HD2 is very bad.
My question is:
Can I read the settings in Android, so that I can figure out what is different ( for example BitPool). I'm very nooby in Android, so I was not able to figure these settings out.
Some other tipps how to improve sound quality in WinMo?
No one has an idea??
Guys,
I've recently had my Samsung headset shredded by my kitten so have picked out a newer set of Nokia headphones from their X7 range.
However when I listen to music via these headphones the sound quality is dreadful, it's almost as if they aren't designed to work ATALL with the Sg2. Are there are fixes available for this type of thing?
Any help appreciated, as I miss my music

So, I used to have the HTC Raider on Bell, and got the Telus Samsung Galaxy S II X mainly because the audio recording on the phone is poor. Before I bought the Raider, I was under the belief that the sound would be fixed if I turned off "Stereo Recording," which it did on my HTC Sensation. On the contrary, it made the sound quality worse. However, this method seems to work on the HTC Amaze 4G according to some threads, and I was thinking that the Raider I had may have just been a bad unit.
Can you guys please be so kind as to test some videos out with Stereo Recording off (Disable by going into the camcorder app, pressing the menu button, and unchecking the option)? I'm not liking the Samsung much (I hate TouchWiz, it's a buggy piece of ****), and would like to go back to the Raider IF the sound can be fixed.
Yes, I read the other post on the audio recording issue in this section, but no one mentioned anything about turning off stereo recording.
I just tested that out and yeah, without Stereo Recording the audio sounded worst.
I tried both ways, stereo on and off and not much difference
Seems to me it is more of an equalization thing with too much high freq
on other note, I had a galaxy s2x before too and like the raider better
Hi,
I have a Wiko Darkfull with stock rom and plan to buy a bluetooth headset, and have tested with three different Bluetooth headset (all new) and the sound that others hear is very bad...
With the 3 models, the sound that I heard is very good, but the person on the other side says that barely realize what I say, the sound is very bad and distorted.
In the store we tested 4 headset, two of the same brand and two other different, and always the same thing...
It's happened to anyone else? Solutions?
Which ROM? KK?
Recently I re-start using bluetooth headset and I run into the same very poor audio quality (overamplified, sounding cracking) you reported.
I've tried three bt headset:
- Samsung (bt v3.0)
- Plantronics (bt v3.0)
- Nokia (bt 2.1)
I've done a lot of test (also flashing back JB) and here the response:
- With KK the audio quality during phone call is very poor (all three headsets).
- With KK the audio quality is good when I forward media audio to the bt headset (only Plantronics support this function).
- With JB the audio quality during phone call is good with Plantronics and very poor with Samsung (Nokia not tested).
- With JB the audio quality during media audio forwarding has not been tested.
Do you have the same behaviour? Did you solve it?
Hi,
In my Wiko Darkfull, it's software problem with stock ROM (JB).
I solve this problem when install the MIUI 6 ROM (JB).
Try another ROM!!!
OMG! Sorry!
I've done a search I thought in the Moto RAZR I forum and I believed to write in the RAZR I forum!
Sorry!
Just purchased a new Honor 9 Lite having come from a P10 Lite.
The 9 is a lovely phone in regards to its screen and shape but both phones have dreadful audio quality over bluetooth.
I cannot listen to music as anything with any volume (especially guitar based rock/metal) sounds like a 64kbps MP3 from 2000 napster .
I only a have modest quality Bluetooth headset (low end Phillips) but the quality is dreadful, equally my car stereo really exposes how compressed the audio sounds. A cheap Amazon fire tablet sounds superb in comparison as have my previous phones.
Is this just the way audio is with Huawei / Honor offerings? Seems such a stupid problem but its ruining my enjoyment of the phone.
Any ideas would be great before I get shut of what otherwise is a excellent phone.
I am also facing similar issue of poor audio quality over Bluetooth. Is there any fix?
I bought my H9L direct from their website when they had the offer with the free Honor bluetooth headphones.
The sound through them is horrible and tinny. There is a built in EQ mode called Histen, but it only works with wired headphones.
I think that if they had a promotion for own brand headphones, then they should at least make the experience worth while.
I'm very close to ditching the bluetooth & going back to a wired headset instead. Bluetooth in car car is also very low volume so I have to have the radio up really loud.
At the very least, they need to activate the Histen over bluetooth, aparently 3rd party EQ don't work
Use poweramp and see the magic (use pro version)
