A very important option to really personalize your phone ie assigning different wallpapers for each homescreen seems to be given no attention at all by all the "Royal Highnesses" of android development. All applications that claim to solve this problem do not work with HTC One or sense 3+ in general. Please let me know if there is a solution for this. I'm on Viper One 2.1.0 soff etc. Thank you.
Thank you all for your generous help (?). Solved.

Hi,
I'm about to get a Trinity tomorrow, and want to upgrade to WM6.
I know I could go through installing all the roms, but what I'm looking for is one that mimics mostly the roms on the Touch Dual or Polaris. Ie the HTC home theme, touch cube, htc album music player, keyboard input etc and all the other bits.
I'll probably will try out a few roms, but from the screenshots it's quite hard to tell which one to try first.
I know people will have differing opinions, but as I'm looking for something specific could anyone help?
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

Not going to spam the Hero/G2 forum, but because i mainly live in the G1 area I would like you all to know that I have developed a whole new Home Replacement called GDE. It has transitions like a cube, configurable toolbar buttons etc etc.
A link to the G1 thread ( with all features and some movies ) so i dont have to copy all of it over and over:

I have tested this on a G1 and a G2, so it should also run great on a Hero. If anyone has tried it please let me know how it works on your devices!
Highly recommend...currently replacing sense as my default home screen. Reminds me of compiz ...you definitely need to check it out!!!
how to download this?
It's in the market, read the comments if you don't believe me. I really like it a lot but going back to sense for now until an update.
@erasmogjr
Thanks for the replies. Could you let me know what you would want see first in an update?
I tried it any for a first release its very good. BUT the bottom app bar is not nice. Is there any way to make it transparent?
I am working on a theming framework so you should see different themes soon!

Is there a Lite version to try before buying it?
I did a search and only came up with the paid version.
Hello,
I used R§D for a while, but its crashed 1-3 times per day so actuallye I treide a naked android and will install the needed stuff stepp by step. I remember the USB connection has a nice app to select just loading or using as HDD where can I get this ???
There was also a nice clock integrated in the systemclock wit a countdown and a stop function...where can I download it ???
Please help me, I need urgently help !!!
best regards huggy
I guess R3D is a Sense rom? I'd suggest you try another rom, if it has too much issues..
If you want to stay with AOSP ("naked" Android), you can use Fancy Widget as clock-widget that looks like the sense one, if you install the right skin.
Hello guys, thanks for reading this and help me. I hope you can point me in the right direction. Here is my situation: I've been maintaining a custom ROM named MasterStock, it basically takes the tweaks and improvements of another's guy ROM (chuckybean) but keeping the styling and apps of the standard stock rom. The goal is to have a nice and quick ROM with the same "skin" that comes from factory.
Now my issue comes with the Samsung keyboard, I manage to include it on my rom, and it works. But the autocomplete function does not work at all. It just does not suggest or corrects any word at all. I cannot understand what Im missing to include in my rom.
Anybody has any clue? Or can think in something I'm probably missing?
Before you reply something, I would like to please avoid messages saying there are better keyboards apps out there, and I know you probably can give me tons of alternatives to replace this keyboard. However my truly intention is to make this one to work, and give the users the ability to have a complete and functional ROM with the style of the stock version.
Many thanks in advance!!

I think there should be file with content for autocomplete. I can't remember what, and where it is. Probably /data/something. Do research, it is the same on every JB wirh TW I thing, so you can use expirience from SII, SIII users...

Hi all! I know this isn't technically a question about the One but I think this would be the best place to ask. So, us One X (dual core) users have a Sense 5 port which works very well (except for some bug which ours devs our working very hard to fix) but because this is sort of a random request I'll ask it here, since I heard you guys had a workaround. When an accessibility service is enabled (for example, Floating Notifications) the lock screen will unlock with any touch of the screen. Is there a fix for this, and if there is, would you guys be so kind as to explain what was done to me or our main Sense 5 dev, ImagioX1 (I'm not speaking for him, so don't bombard him for anything I say).
Short version: is there a workaround for the accessibility making the lockscreen unlock with one touch?
Sorry for the long post, and thanks for any help! If this is too off topic feel free to lock/remove it.
I think no.
You have to unlock your phone with a swipe...
Or see if some kernel support the volume wake
There is a mod somewhere which does fix the problem on the old 4.1.2 sense 5 lock screen. For 4.2.2 sense 5, HTC have fixed it and it works just as it should!
