i wish Nova HD Developers would read this,
just want to ask, wanted to try Nova HD RC22-41 on my O2x. after i installed the ROM then restart, it only display black screen after the LG screen logo appears. Any idea how to fix it?

use the "backtoEXT3" first which will wipe cache/data/dalvik....then flash the NOVA...will work perfectly.

Mine is stuck after the FIRST(white) LG logo when a death-android with a scythe appears(the second LG logo never appeared.
I just upgraded from 35 to 41...
Now i can only go to the SW upgrade menu... no CWM any more
any ideas please?

leave it for some more time....it takes around 1min for the second logo to appear....as reported by some users...mine stays just 20seconds....but why not try it mate?
if not, if you can try to go to CWM, do the three wipes, then reflash the ROM again.
Anyone else with v20a uk having problems with setting cpu controls?
I try set cpu to 204 lowest and 1400 highest, but every time I exit and go back into the cpu control its reverted back to 1400 on both lowest and highest!
Anyone else have this problem?

I do believe were not able to force the usage of cores via Cyanogenmod Settings?
Would be a nice setting to add in wouldn't it?

Agreed, except use of cores really doesn't affect performance currently. We need a better kernel desperately. Core restriction would be useful for battery reasons though

Hmmm what you using? Only thing it had trouble with for me was the eternity project kernel, stock cm10.1 working fine here. Shame it doesn't provide much of a boost though, hope kholk updates his kernel soon

Root.bat keeps closing
I follow the procedure (ignoring step 1), and then get to the step where I have to click root.bat
The following message is on the display:
"Now send the package you want to apply
to the device with "adb sideload <filename>..."
I just double click on root.bat , and it opens and says it is doing adb sideload etc etc
It then says daemon started successfully before closing rapidly. (sometimes I am sure I can see "error ..." something, flash up just as it closes)
Would be really grateful for some help. Once closed, it won't open again, just keeps closing, and my phone is just stuck on the adb sideload screen.

Using v20a uk official rom rooted and boot unlocked,
Cleaned every cache and made sure all cpu control software has been removed, reboot install tegra overclock. set speed phone goes really slow and locks at 51mhz on all cores.

You need to set max frequency AND tegra cap for this to work, I don't know what the point of tegra cap is but that also limits CPU speed

Already tried that twice. I'm wondering if one of the cpu aps has written to a file that I need to change back to defaults?
But what file and what defaults? I'm Stuck always worked fine until I updated to uk 20a official. Has anyone else with 20A uk had this problem?

Is there any way to check if my mobile as got any kind of changes.
And if it does how do I resolve this situation. It seem now that it is ok, for n at list.
I have mount everything in the recovry team win and wiped all data , then format.

NOTE
This is an port of the optimus g stock ROM, it doesnt fully work yet and doesnt had all the apps because of the 828mb system partition and the optimus g had 2gigabyte. It isnt for daily use yet because of the random reboots and no GSM and maybe soms fcs
If you go back to some other rom again dont forget to flash the good modem again or it will end in a bootloop or not cellular/wifi
Also if you backed up a rom with your data in twrp or CWM same story i also needed to flash the good modem to get out of bootloop.

Yes i will look what i can do to get the basic of the system booting so withoit the lg bloatware cause our system partition was only 512mb and their is about 1.5gb i think. But maybe there is also an way to get all the apps but then out of the system folder somewhere.

I will love to test it. My GF have the optimus g still in warranty (so she doesnt let me unlock the bootloader) and i would use rom show her how the phone will feel one month from now when the update arrives in brazil.

I used his FlymeOS port for Nexus S to make a Nexus S 4G port...worked great!! Give it a shot and keep us updated. If it boots without bricking I'll test for you!

Right now iv'e done most of it, followed to the letter including using libs and things from source.
I'm stuck on recompiling the boot img, the option isn't showing in the kitchen for the some reason
EDIT: I did it, compiled boot img successfully

We will be able to use this as a second rom in multirom ?(assuming that the first rom has the kexec-hardboot patch, like franco or hells)

22sl22 i wish you goodluck with your project we will see who will be the first who gets it good running. I examined the kernel and most paths are just the same so it should be not really an problem. I was busy with removing unneccesary crapware to see if its booting but i will continue later todat so around 2 or 3 o clock i think cause i have tomorrow an test and i am tired from learning. 22sl22 you maybe cant deodex something from weatherbut then just remove it deodex or odex doesnt really matter now first the priority is to see does it boot and work but you also need to have an good updater-script so take one from an rom and see or it has something like assert get prop and remove it. Iv'e never made a rom before so you will probably get up and running first. I have trimmed down the system a bit but I will look to cut it down some more.
Mine says 'some symlinks failed' So I will work on it tomorrow, good luck with your test :good:

I'm using the latest build and even if I dont have clock freezes, I have another problem. The clock seems to be "slow", in about 12 hours it gets out of sync with even 2 minutes... If I reboot my phone the clock is correctly synced, but after a while the problem repeats.

I have the same issue. Dis- and the reenabling WiFi brings the clock also back in sync, for me at least

Or you can use 'ClockSync' from Playstore. Here you can manual adjust the time (just by clicking a button) or you activate automatic mode where you can select how often ClockSync should correct your time.

I know about ClockSync, but it won't work without an internet connection. And that's not solving the problem, just masking it...

Golden-guy was write in his rom thread that this problem can cause if you have installed Greenify, I am testing last release without greenify and so far I have not this problem (NFC version of S3 mini)
I never used Greenify or similar apps .
An option would be to make this sync more configurable so that you can amend the sync strategy according to your needs. Will have a look at that, what would work out best for you guys.
PS: Like @benstyle1 has already mentioned, enabling data (mobile or wifi) does a new time sync. So, there's no need to reboot to get a fresh time.

I am not having that prpblem .... I had stock rooted by me, than full wipe, and cache +dalvik, install omni and its all ok. The only problem is that i cant see nor add new contacts to SIM.
Is that normal? I did not see that on the description...

Best way (to be sure that everything works) is a Clean install. But you can try also this "dirty" installation:
- Wipe Cache, Dalvik and system
- Flash OmniROM
- Flash actual GApps
- If you have installed other Apps/Prog's as flashable ZIP's via recovery (for example KERNEL), you have to install them also again.
With this procedure you will keep your Apps with all data's and settings.
Works for me all time. Only after the 3rd or 4th "Dirty" installation I make a clean install again.

It's also possible to flash without GAppas:
- Wipe Dalvik & Cache
- Flash OmniROM
- Reboot
But it increase the risk that something will not work properly...
The developers from SlimKat recommend also to wipe system: http://www.slimroms.net/index.php/installation (see item 2)
And I think this is teh same for all CustomRom's.

In TWRP it's correct: Wipe / Advanced Wipe / System
It will be mounted again automatically.
But then you have to install GApps and other ZIP-files which you use.

Dirty wiped.
Gapps installed and removed enoyings like games and music, videos etc from google.
I did that because i wanted the apps to be integrated.
Also kept messages and hangouts.
Seems good.
Rom is wonderfull.
Battery increased life. Nice.
