So some little chit chat for why Play kernel exist.
For those not around much Prime was started while i didnt have the phone as an experiment.
That made my work very difficult and i couldn’t experiment much because if ended up no booting had no way to fix easily.
Then after my phone arrived and i could finally see the fruits we had a little vote as to where kernel was headed and it was decided towards battery life but
alas heat lag was there and was introduced when i didn’t had the phone and now i had to go back and redo and clean up and redo and search and experiment and try to fix.
As you see on Optimus Prime thread there are a lot of releases day in day out
Finally i nail it and heat lag was gone but trying to fix heat lag battery life gone to worst not by much but you could see it.
Since i implemented a lot of different platforms code i didnt want to start over the tedious search and destroy thing.
Surely battery can get better but phone wake up could get worst as you can see it reported a lot in Optimus Prime kernel thread.Now if i had the phone i could easily catch up the code that caused that behaviour from the start so same story as heat lag was infront of me again.
Yeah OP is awesome kernel by all means, has latest ouya code+htc deeply inside and it should perform awesome so why go back to new troubles.
Then i decide to pull in even more requested features and call it a day.
Am not answering clearly why Play exist am i?
Play is a way for me to fool around a little bit as a side project but not on a playground but in a game that winner takes all!

Good battery and good performance these are my goals as usual. oh! and hard work to make it happen
Flashed with no prob. No more weathley governor so let give try to interactive.

With repacked optimus prime 2.7 i had smooth homescreen animations, but on iodak v8 it was many ticks smoother, like 60 fps. On this kernel it feels smooth like iodak...will report more information this night Played asphalt 8 on online mode. No zero lag and better like every kernel i tested. So it meets its name But i think the temp throttle is back After gaming some minutes it started to lag like hell :/

Btw, in latest cm10.1 nightly from 29. the "sleeping" baseband issue seems to be solved
No deep sleep tonight. Loose 20% in 6h. Nothing strange un bbs. Will give a Try with on demand.

1. Unlock Screen then Auto Reboot
Don't touch the lock icon.
From top of the screen bring down the notification screen and select settings button in that.
In settings check if you have any enabled accessiblity services. (thanks to varunbhatbm for the tips)
2. My Battery Life is worst, any solution?
Try match your RIL with your Baseband.
Also, you should discharge your phone below 20%,
and then fully charge the phone.

I'm currently on SelfKang2 and the latest 48mb ics iron kernel. Everything was fine until few hours ago. Since then I've had two random reboots. I am not sure whats causing this but since this build is based on the rc I just wanted to put it out there.
On which kang this rom based? Latest kang3?

I have asked in XDA and Google+ but got no reply as I am nothing.
I just ask the DEV of G2x who publish the ICS Rom based on CM9 and he said that it is open source and sharing is caring so I publish my Rom too
There are always some people voting one star in my thread but do not give any comments and opinions. I hate those and I may not continue development if someone continue to do these silly things.

From Alien to Nova (Teranova Fox ) well done hope SK3 better than previous (SK1 & SK2) I also got problem that SK3 not wake me up (alarm not ring maybe deep sleep) but good news it not die on wall charging.

- a reboot, was only one in two days.
- my cam worked 3 or 4 times in 10 attempts for taking a picture and didnt work for video recording.
- the worst bug i've found and this make me back to cm7: Like on MIUI, every time i use wi-fi my phone is incapable to get back to mobile data connection. i need to enable flight mode and disable it to get data connection up again.
if anyone here know how to fix this last bug related please help me. i try a lot of bb/ril combinations, almost (if not) all kernels of this forum, and i try almost roms. i get 100% connection only on cm7. some stock versions gimme that error too.

Hello and thank you. No, this isn't FOP nor I'm a member of the team. This isn't intended to fight FOP but to improve ICS for our device and turn our experience better and better.
Does it mean, that in some parts this rom differs from FOP 6a?
Maybe add some info about v6 supercharger (is it or not).
Im flashing and in few days will give feedback ; )

Hello Navios91, thanks for trying this rom. I don't know what happened but try to flash it again following the installation procedures I posted because the usb storage is working properly. In other ics roms you have to enable debugging in order to enable usb storage but at this rom that issue is fixed and it works very well actually so please flash again since I tested the rom very well before publishing it and the only thing that doesn't work properly yet is the camera which haves mixed colors.

As I said in the above post the only thing that in not working at 100% is the camera and when you talk about hardware accelaration don't forget that we'r talking about a 2.6.35 kernel. I already tried to compile a 3.0.8 in order to have hardware acceleration but we will need to wait for lg sources. But this isn't a bug since the rom is ultra smooth and stable nor a rom problem. It is a kernel problem since we can't boot 3.0.* kernel

RD MiUI 2.12.14 is a ROM originally by dekkyy for HTC OneX
PORT by dexter_nlb
Kernel is STOCK, since we got a locked bootloader and currently no way of changing it.
NOT compatible with new v20a phones, so if you installed v20a and CWM, it will NOT work

Although this is not as good as the CustoNexus rom, it can be a daily for those that can live without bluetooth.

it has come to my attention, that mobile data do NOT enable, if you got a pincode on your simcard. so disable this in your stock LG rom, do NOT do it in this rom, it will fail and cause your simcard to enter PUK state and you need the PUK code to get opened again.
battery: do note, WIFI is default - always enabled - and inactivity timeout is 15minutes, you can set it to always and 5 minutes, and deep sleep is faster optained.
Factory reset / WIPE before you install if you come from STOCK LG rom, as this ROM will only install and clear system partition automatically. you are responsible for factory reset coming from another type of rom.
Alternatively - use original recovery where you factory reset as well. (VOL- + powerOn, remove usb cable, or you get to wrong menu) ..
Install the release using latest ClockWorkMod , using "install zip from external sdcard". this is a regular "update.zip" type of install.
if you get error 7 during install, go check in "mount and storage" that /system is not mounted before you install.

personally im not a MiUI fan , but i do think its the user interface and the difference here, which pretty much is the major here.
i am not familiar with MiUI, so thats pretty much what i can say. I always enjoyed HTC Sense most, but now im aosp

Although this is not as good as the CustoNexus rom, it can be a daily for those that can live without bluetooth.
Why do you say its not as good? Is it slower more laggy or just not as nice?

Okay so I couldn't resist. I nandroided CM10 to check this out. Very nice work and so much better than the previous "unreleased" version you had, no offense. I think the latest kernel version and linaro apparently make a real difference.
Btw any way to get to dev options so I can turn off animations. It really makes a difference. Thanks.

Benchmarks
OK, for what they are worth to anybody. Scores for Antutu and Quadrant. The Antutu score is 300 points higher than when I used a CM10 ROM last year without OC.
BTW I can also report 3rd party camera apps like UCam work just fine, so does "search by camera" using Gnow.

Kernel is 3.0.66, no OC, standard list of govs (for stock kernel) and yes, row is included for I/O. BTW yes this is an instant DD!
Also want to mention that DSP actually works with Poweramp if enabled in the Poweramp equalizer settings and Beautiful Widgets clock stays in sync with the time and doesn't get constantly FCd like it did with CM10.

to all, seems like you can dirty flash the 4.2 roms over each other without any repercussions; I flashed this over rootbox, then flashed cm10.1 over this, and all worked fine

haha this rom def has helped a few problems i have been having. im not sure how great linaro is speed wise but it does seem to help the touch responsiveness problems i have been having

Yes, It work only with CM and AOKP roms. DoomLorD's kernel work with stock, but roms which based on CM11 and AOKP are interesting.

it will be nice to have such a kernel on a stock rom i don`t use cm yet cuz in recording the volume is too low ... and the photos i take don`t see on full screen .. tha`t very annoying for me .. anyway if i move again on CM I would definitely such a kernel !

By this kernel we can increase Mic gain in 4.4 Rom so volume in video recording can be increased and overclocking on stock Rom is a pain in a** because of many thermal protections but in cm Rom there are less so we can bring out the real power of this chipset with this kernel an on cm roms the battery life is way better than stock Rom and with this kernel we can undervolt which will increase the battery life and in future we may not get official 4.4 so after this long speech you all will know why this kernel is needed for our device

I already told you I will try to make a port of MEOW for this device.
Although, I don't want you to raise donations before I start working on it.
Donating is ALWAYS optional and only a sign of appreciation about the work that was done.
Also, this does not increase my motivation in any way. It's more of a time issue.

Does this kernel have doubleTap2Wake and Sweep2Wake ?

After 5 attempts beanstalk work.
Bugs:
kernel has very low speed before loading bacause of it i can't use recovery. Recovery loading 5 minutes and after it i have freezes in recovery.
TWRP has resoltion 1920x1080, but display of ZR has resolution 1280x720 because of it we can use this TWRP(many buttons located outside the screen)
loading on cm11 and beanstalk more than 2 minutes. ( it is normal?). It start with freezes(on animation logo) after freezes leave me.
It work with cyanfox but it start more than cm11 and beanstalk.(it takes 10 minutes in the fist boot, after 1-2 minutes)
CPU frequency does not increase more than 1134mhz in interactive
CPU frequency does not increase more than 1134mhz even if I put min and max as 1728mhz and the recovery is working I use a theme for twrp because it is not resized but it is too slow it hangs a lot but flashing is fine and booting time is too much and fauxsound is working great and no option for changing GPU governor

He can't test it because he have xperia Z.
Please try it:
You need wipe cache after install, also unplug usb, and wait 10-15 minutes(the fist loading). I don't know why but while it boot it has freezes and it doesn't have freezes after loading. Other loading needs about 2-4 minutes

I also have this problem, and i think starting frequency is low, because of it we have freezes during loading.
Aight, as I expected it has some problems, but at least it boots and basic features work. Will do my best to solve some of the problems in the coming week. Please keep reporting the problems here. The next version will be released in a new thread in the development section. When it's the time, I'll announce that here as well.
