How to move system app to user app in Titanium - LG Optimus 4X HD

Hi.. Usually when you hold on an app in TB (Pro) u have an option to convert a user app to a system app or vise versa. I dont have an option to convert a system app to a user app. I want to make Google Maps a user app so i can greenify it. Is there any way to do this?

Delete it via titanium, then install from google play

Thanks dude

[Q] broken linking with Google Search

Okay so my problem is, i uninstalled Google Search via titanium backup, then reinstalled it via market...now my search button does not bring up google search and any other app that links to google search gets a FC when attempting to do a search...i did this with all my Gapps and none of the other one's are having this issue, im wondering if there is a way i can get the search app re-recognized by the system without having to reflash my ROM
Try integrating the app back into system using the Titanium batch option...

its not an option for me, the only thing there is Market
Use Root Explorer to look for the app in /data/app, and move it to /system/app, then rename to GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk and reboot.

Desk/Car Home apps

Where can i get these apps I know the apex 8.1 rom uses them but im trying another rom and id like to have these two apps. I backed them up with titanium but i guess its not working because it wont let me restore them.
It is probably a system app. What you can do is open up the zip file for the old rom, find the app you want, and drop it in system/app using root explorer.

Use Titanium Backup to get the apk + data of the installed app , or use Roote Explorer (or any other root file manager) and manually pull them (apk is in data/app and data in data/data)
you can backup apps
but if you are thinking of pirating apps then you should not do it
else you can backup apps even without root with the help of es file explorer

[Q] Removing bloatwares

I am rooted and so want to uninstall crapwares like google plus and socialife. what are the names of the apk's in /system/app? :crying:

Use ES Explorer, and go to app manager. If you has rooted, you can uninstall anything you want.

Well, rather than uninstalling, a more better option would be to freeze them.
You can use Link2SD on Play Store to freeze unwanted apps, or use Titanium Backup Pro (Paid) to freeze them. You can uninstall them from both the apps too.
Best of luck. :good:

Deleting google talk/hangout app

I don't really use google talk, which now change name to hangout, if possible I want to delete this app. Is there any way to do it? I can't find it at system/app and manually uninstall from settings is not possible (only uninstall update).
Thanks
Check your /preload folder
or use root app such as titanium backup to delete or freeze it.
