Anyone got one of these?/will it work?
Yes, I have a USB OTG cable and it works for low power USB drives.
I just bought a hard drive to connect to my nexus 10, but like an idiot, I didn't realize it was a USB 3.0 drive. I have an OTG cable. I am wondering if there is a way for me to externally power the hard drive. It has a single USB 3.0 female plug. Hopefully the attached picture can explain better what it is that I want to do.
I wonder if this would work
http://www.amazon.com/HDE®-Male-USB-Micro-B-Cable/dp/B006C0S2JS
I could connect the USB 3.0 connector (right-most) to the HD, the blue Type-A connector (left-most) to the OTG cable and the other USB (center) to a USB hub or power supply. Anyone have any experience with this type of thing?

Ok I'm in awe of why there is no dock or adapter for slimport as for mhl. With hdmi, usb, memory card slot. Ive been looking and thinking could you use this Micro USB Male to USB Female Host OTG Cable + Micro USB Adapter Y Splitter, then get the slimport hdmi adapter. Or does only one work at a time?
How do I connect my xbox one controller via female usb2.0 to male mini usb otg cable? mate 10 pro connected to the female usb port via a usb c cable. Any help welcome!
Can I use an adapter or a usb hub to connect a DAC and a usb drive to the pixel, and play mp3 and flacs off the usb drive?
