Hello guys,
As you may know, Chaos had left S3 rom development. He entrusted his rom for me to continue his awesome ProjectChaos Rom. So here I am to bring you ChaosLegacy v1.0 based on ProjectChaos v2.3.
Features:
- 320 or 240 DPI - S4 apps - Stock & AOSP contacts - 3 In Call Screens - 4 themes - 4 Calendar apps - 6 Keyboards & Themes - 6 Sound Packs - 6 fonts - 7 Bootanimations - 4 Icons Packs - 10 Battery Styles - Auto 2G-3G Toggle - and almost every app you want.
You will be able to re-install any of these options without the need to fullly wipe the rom.

Many thanks @Arsaw. Finally I can enjoy ur magic in stock dpi. But have to wait till monday at home my net speed is poor. One question though, can we install this with philz recovery or cwm only (as was the case with chaos earlier). Anyway I will try myself and see and I hope that "insufficient storage problem" while updating play services in chaos 2.3 is gone now. Will give my feedback in a couple of days.

Could be the aosp dialer problem. Try reinstall again without Aosp dialer.

Recommended Installation
1. Back up your current version with whatever you use to backup (titanium, mybackup, etc)
2. Use Astro, or another file manager to install this new apk normally. Apk is signed, so it shouldn't be an issue.
If that give u trouble, It also works to use Titanium Backup, Backup, uninstall, install new apk, restore Data only. If you do that, make sure you do the 'Important Note' too.
IMPORTANT NOTE
In this recent (.36) version, some had issues with receiving GV notifications--myself included. What fixed it for me:
Menu > More > Settings > Sync & Notification > Receive Text Messages > Toggle whichever option you would like.
Also make sure everything else you want to be ticked there, is.
This is an old note, but if it applies to your situation...
I use Google Voice and Handcent (I don't anymore). I keep Google Voice Notifications OFF and all texts go thru handcent.
I've noticed that whenever I reinstall the GV app, my text message forwarding gets disabled.
It's a super simple fix. You can test by just sending yourself a text message.
FIX
It would depend on your set up, but this is what I do after installing.
Google voice (app) settings - turn notifications OFF (and inbox sync ON, by default)
In your browser, go to google.com/voice
Settings > Phones > EDIT (cell) > Text Settings (Receive Text messages), Check box > SAVE.

ya for sure. I'm hoping (for GV or messaging app) it's not framework-res or systemui mods that need to be done... so much easier if standalone. I don't have adb working for some reason on ICS, so my pushing/pulling/poking around in the ICS /system has been limited. I'm gonna try a new kernel (using franco's now) to see if that makes a difference.

Are you running a theme choser? I had that issue before installing a custom modded apk.

AROMA is known to freeze in all ROMS. If it freezes on you simply perform rom install again following the instructions above! If the installer says install complete, but freezes when you hit next then just reboot phone and power on.

may I suggest a few features?
The MoDaCo control toolbox (using Xposed framework) has provided the "enabling buttons" in the settings. This allows us to map long press back to menu, and get rid of big menu button on bottom of screen in many apps!
Also, I have flashed THIS (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1636914) DSP manager. It is v3 in attachments. I always did this with the EVO 4g LTE also. I believe it puts some audiolibs from cyanogenmod in. But anyways, It was the BEST method of adding crunchy bass, CLEAR seperation in frequencies, just all around great audio. However, the HTC music app does not take advantage of this (I think they block all "outside" equalizer kind of apps).
Also, get rid of the stupid power saver notification!!!! (I used the app that is mentioned in one of these threads)

Yup, this is a 4.1.2 based rom, everything should work.

This is pretty smooth, only quirk ive seen so far is even after turning the setting off in play store it still adds icons to homescreen when installing apps, no big deal tho, good job!

everything is included in zip, I came from 4.2.2 rom n just wiped and installed.

Yes. I am recoding a few toggles at the moment. They will be added soon. Nearly every moto device out there is using the toggle code I created over a year ago. So yes it is a possibility.

Looking forward to trying out this rom. Just had a question and forgive me if this is a bit off-topic, but does anyone know why backup programs such as MyBackup and RomToolbox, do not work on 4.1.2? I am always able to restore the programs, but data is always a "no go".
Any help would be appreciated and it would save me a ton of time getting all my programs restored.
How about adding flashable soft key mods of different styles. I perfer the arrangement of home,back,menu and recent apps. Just a suggestion.

Only thing I have seen that stands out is AOSP email app - black icons on your dark grey action bar. Notice however that isn't one of the themed apps, so merely an observation
Very nice theme. Much appreciated. The only thing I don't really like it the Contacts. The bottom bar is a bit too big and the top action bar is a bit small. Also, then looking at contact details I think the top action bar should be black instead of "silver". Not complaining, just personal taste. Messaging / Settings / Framework looks fantastic.

Dark version will more than likely be an update to the current version on the playstore. I'm just having a slight issue with that at the moment. The key used to sign it got corrupted. So at the moment I can't even update it. Now I did have a backup which I'm trying to find but when I moved two years ago, the thumb drive it was on got put in a box that I can't find. I think I may have tracked it down. Won't know till later on tonight lol.

Htc One S, AOSPA-Legacy 4.45, changed to default theme before installing.

Can't edit battery. Its hard coded in the java code which the theme chooser can't touch.

I'll take a look.
In general with issues please tell me ROM, device and whether it's a stable, nightly or whatever. Logs help too.
There is one thing you can try.
Go to data/data/app using a root explorer. Delete the theme file. Reboot then try an install. That would fix it with some older nightlies and stable releases

I strongly recommend switching names of the rom. Currently it gives the user no impression about what the rom is.
Use an English expression, add some short tags and you'll catch the interest of much more people.
It's just a recommendation, of course. I don't want to see hard development work being overseen because of nothing but its name.

If you haven't root or is not installed CWM, then here's a little description of how to.
And if it is already in CWM Recovery on your phone, you have no other thing to do is just install the rom.

my experience using other ROM (Rizal & PXB) that is voice over stereo bluetooth headset has very small small volume even its adjusted to the max both in device and bluetooth.

For most ROM's of the same Android version widely the same, unless the developer explicitly did something addressing power savings (removing/replacing resources hungry system apps, reducing the cpu voltages, ...), or including items that require more resources (Google Play services 5.x, online maps, ...).
at least create a Video of Aroma and introduce the steps in english!
