Hi,
When I had Android 2.2, I remember I used USB tethering a lot. Now I noticed recently I don't have USB tethering anymore in my ICS rom (kernel 2.6.39.4~CivZ_SkyWalker ; build CivZ_FLEX_ICER_Rev4.6).
I wonder why and if it is possible to have it back again without installing third-party application in Android and in my computer. Has anyone the USB tethering option in a stock ICS rom ? Thank you.

does anyone know of a 2.2 rom that has inbuilt usb/wifi tethering? like without pdanet or barnacle?
This one might work because it is Froyo ROM that works on custom kernel.
Can anybody Confirm this?
This is the rom i Tried.
I can connect fine through the Internet when I still used the Cm7.2 rom.

Hi,
It seems after I installed ICS 4.0.4 CM9 - I don't have that option.
any solution ?
Thank you all !
ICS i9001? They didn't fix that function yet. It's still in alpha. If you don't have any experience flash cm7 or roms like broodrom. Wouldn't recommend you to stay with cm9 since you want usb tethering until they fix things up.
