I'm noticing Chromecast is freezing and crashing quite often. Seems to happen at random, sometimes it freezes with a series of lines on the screen, sometimes it's just black. It has happened with both YouTube and Netflix casting. Two days ago I had to power cycle it to reboot and it kept freezing at the small Chromecast logo. After doing a factory reset everything seemed good until a short time later when the freezing happened again (but it would at least boot up properly).
This didn't happen at first mind you, this has only been since Chromecast auto-updated to a new version(s).
I'm on build 12940.
Anybody else noticing this or similar issues?

since a few days I'm experiencing some strange behaviours on my One.
It randomly wakes up the screen and shows the regular lock screen. After about 10 seconds it turns off again.
I can't remember I installed something special the last days, just the regular updates via Play Store.
The device is rooted, but it worked fine for the first weeks, so i guess this has nothing to do with that.
Anyone experienced similar issues?
My phone has recently developed this problem of constantly restarting apps while I'm in the middle of using them. It's not specific to any one app, I've had it happening with every app I've used today, like Twitter, Chrome, Shattered Pixel Dungeon, Quickpic...
I've read about the issue that Android System Webview is causing with this device and uninstalled that, but the issue persists, even after a few reboots and some time being completely shut off.
I haven't made any changes to my phone lately, but I have noticed that my battery has been draining more quickly than usual over the past couple days. I have not been using it any more than I usually do. I do use Clean Master, which I also tried uninstalling, but with no improvement.
My phone is completely stock. I have no problem rooting it if necessary, I just haven't had any reason to with this phone. I've been pretty satisfied with it until today.
Update: The screen will sometimes turn on by itself. Not to the home screen, just the lock screen.
My SM-T815 (Tab S2 9.7 4G) has a habit of becoming completely unresponsive to all touchscreen actions for 20-30 seconds. This can happen in a wide variety of apps. I'm running stock Android 6.0.1. The hard button usually works.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I have many apps on a fast external SD, I figured this might be one of the reasons.
Strangely it has become worse the past few weeks.

My screen doesn't go black - it just stops responding to all touches (the home button usually responds though). I also DON'T have any apps installed on the external SD card. So it sounds like we may not have exactly the same problem????

For some time now I have been having issues with the phone.
Exhibit A) When using e.g. facebook messenger app it will freeze randomly for random amount of time, in some cases if I try to reboot the phone (hold power button for few seconds) the screen would just go blank and wouldn't turn on again, after several seconds in this case phone will reboot by itself. This can happen up to several times a day and is a really tough annoyance to handle. I have tried clearing the cache - situation got better, however issue still persists from time to time. Random "in pocket" reboots also do happen.
Exhibit B) When casting my screen the general video will get laggy and pixelated on movement, audio would break up as well. Tried this with several devices (nVidia SHIELD TV, Panasonic TV, BMW G30)
Phone is completely stock and up to date (OOS 4.1.3)
Any suggestions fellow forum members?

Actually, uninstalling Facebook messenger fixed the issue - I switched to messenger lite and device hangs no more
However miracast is still an issue
I've just started using one of these a couple of days ago, and it's looking like it'll be the shortest lived of all my phones through the ages.
I've so far had to reboot my phone several times each day, to the point where it's also now rebooting itself occasionally, probably to try and fix itself before I notice. I'm constantly getting apps freeze on loading, which will only resolve by rebooting. This is an annoyance if it's a game (not graphically intensive), but it happens multiple times per day when loading Spotify, which I link to my car, so always needs to be openable when I'm driving.
It seems that nobody else here has experienced this, and everyone seems to love this phone - so did I just get a duff one?
