Help! I can only login to HBOOT and Recovery - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was trying to load ViperOne into my phone, something happened during the install and my phone power cycled continuously. I tried to reinstall but instead wiped my entire phone on accident, now nothing is on the "SDCard"
I can turn the phone on into HBoot and get into TWRP recovery, but after that theres nothing to install or do. I cannot connect to the phone in ADB either.

you'll have to "adb sideload" a rom through recovery on your device. use a toolkit for this step and i'll be very easy http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183942

[Q] Looking for help. Cant boot phone, recovery nor use adb commands.

Hej guys. I really hope that you can help me with my problem
Have been trying for 2 days and looking at post but haven't been able to get it fixed.
Here goes.
I have been playing around with custom roms on my htc one for a while now.
Then when i was about to install a new custom rom, i first wiped my phone.
I properly wiped something that should not be wiped, because i ended up with no os and no custom rom zip file that i could install in twrp.
I then tryed sideloading revolutions, and it seemed to work because it ended up booting on the phone and i could select what programs too install with it... but halfway through it stoped and rebooted.
now i cant even get into recovery anymore, and booting the phone only gets it to htc briliant logo. Then it restarts and tryes going into recovery, but it cant, and ends up just restarting over and over again.
Tryed flashing cwm and twrp again, but still cant get into recovery.
adb dont fint my device, and i have tryed all drivers i could find.
Tryed using a RUU, but it fails. Properly because its not the right one, but cant fint one that fits.
Sooo... i think im in a real pickle right now.
my radio is :4a.14.3250.13
hboot: 1.44.0000
Thinking about going back with my phone, but with the warranty gone i dont know if they'll even look at it.
Hoping for some advise, or some ideas on what to do.

So I'll try here first. I am having the same issue, I can't get the device to boot into recovery, no matter if I clear the cache, or flash either one of twrp or CWM.
I unlocked the bootloader, I think used the all in one toolkit to flash the recovery. When that didn't work, I erased the cache and manually flashed the recovery, and it said it pushed successfully.
I am at a loss, I have no idea what to try next, any help would be appreciated.
******Finally got it, I had to disable Fast Boot in the Power options in Settings******
How do you copy update.zip from external to internal SD?
Sorry if it's a total no-brainer, but how do I manually copy a recovery zip to the internal update.zip? Can I do this from my phone (which is stuck in a bootloop: see below)? Or do I have to use ADB with my computer?

My situation:
Using Open Recovery I tried to install CM7 with custom kernel on my XT720
It gave an error: "assert failed: write_raw_image... Status 7" As I was looking that up, my phone blackscreened. After a while I pulled the battery.
Then on startup it went into a bootloop after a picture of a broken screen saying "2ndboot kernel restart in progress." (Presumably the kernel wasn't properly applied?)
Trying to boot into bootloader says battery is too low.
Phone will only turn on when plugged into outlet.
What I think I need to do:
- Copy a good update from my external SD over the bad update.zip on the internal SD, and apply the update to reset the kernel, etc.
- Open Recovery could do this, if I could load it.
- I could load Openrecovery if I could get the bootloader to run,
- I could get the bootloader to run if my battery would charge

I forgot to put a ROM on my sdcard before wiping/flashing kernel and my phone won't boot now. How do I get a ROM on there?
If you have a nandroid backup on the phone, resore it. If you don't have a backup, copy the ROM you wanted to install to the phone via 'adb push rom-name.zip /data/media/rom-name.zip' Then flash as described above.
Or easier go to TWRP recovery ---advanced ----- and adb sideload

Send from my awesome 1080p
you have to make sure it is the exact ruu for your device or you will get an error
Try to get into boot loader or recovery. Make sure the phone is under light and try resetting it by pressing power and volume down. The phone can not be in a dark room or this will not work. Then connect your phone to the computer. Navigate on your PC to where you have the Android platform tools. Now hold down SHIFT and right click in this folder where the platform tools are, and select open command prompt here. Type in "ADB devices" with no quotation marks. You should see your phone come up, it will probably be something like "HT something something" this is the serial number of your phone. If you see this continue. Make sure the ROM that you are trying to put on your phone is in the same folder when you held shift and right clicked. Now you need to type "ADB push" followed by the exact name of the ROM that you placed in the same folder as the platform tools. So it should be "ADB push ROM_NAME /sdcard" without the quotation marks. The /sdcard part tells the computer where to place the ROM on your phone. If you are able to do this, reboot into recovery and you should be able to flash the ROM from there. A side note, it could take anywhere from 1 to 5 or 6 minutes to push this ROM to your phone, roms for this phone are big files and they take a while to push in this way.

You should also uninstall HTC Sync manager, this will not allow you to use the ADB commands

Hope you get this sorted out. If not, we need more info like where and when you bought the device what carrier your on, what firmware you had and what rom you were flashing. Also if your running windows and what version or mac/Linux.

Much better get recovery here >> http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
To flash it's:
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
From bootloader enter recovery by volume down to highlight and power button to select recovery
The file above in your post is Root not recovery
you flash SuperSU from recovery not from fastboot

adb push while the phone is in recovery (the first screen)
adb push UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.86.zip /data/media/0
then the file will be in the root of the sdcard .. just install it like a rom

you can flash this from recovery to update TWRP to 2.6.3.4
you'll have to push it to your phone with adb while in recovery
adb push TWRP_2.6.3.4_m7.zip /sdcard/
